Obstacle removal in crowd evacuation is critical to safety and the evacuation system efficiency. Recently, manyresearchers proposed game theoreticmodels to avoid and remove obstacles for crowd evacuation. Game theoreticalmodels aim to study and analyze the strategic behaviors of individuals within a crowd and their interactionsduring the evacuation. Game theoretical models have some limitations in the context of crowd evacuation. Thesemodels consider a group of individuals as homogeneous objects with the same goals, involve complex mathematicalformulation, and cannot model real-world scenarios such as panic, environmental information, crowds that movedynamically, etc. The proposed work presents a game theoretic model integrating an agent-based model to removethe obstacles from exits. The proposed model considered the parameters named: (1) obstacle size, length, andwidth, (2) removal time, (3) evacuation time, (4) crowd density, (5) obstacle identification, and (6) route *** proposed work conducts various experiments considering different conditions, such as obstacle types, obstacleremoval, and several obstacles. Evaluation results show the proposed model’s effectiveness compared with existingliterature in reducing the overall evacuation time, cell selection, and obstacle removal. The study is potentially usefulfor public safety situations such as emergency evacuations during disasters and calamities.

Error rate performance of Hybrid QAM-FSK in OFDM systems exhibiting low PAPR

Multicarrier transmission systems like orthogonal frequency division multiplexing （OFDM） support high data rate and generally require no equalization at the receiver, making them simple and efficient. This paper studies the design and performance analysis of a hybrid modulation system derived from multifrequency and MQAM signals, employed in OFDM. This modulation scheme has better bit error rate （BER） performance and exhibits low PAPR. The proposed hybrid modulator reduces PAPR while keeping the OFDM transceiver design simple, as it does not require any side information or a little side information （only one bit） to be sent and is efficient for arbitrary number of subcarriers. The results of the implementations are compared with those of conventional OFDM system.

Drag-driven instability of a dust layer in a magnetized protoplanetary disc

We study drag-driven instability in a protoplanetary disc consisting of a layer of single-sized dust particles which are coupled to the magnetized gas aerodynamically and the particle-to-gas feedback is included. We find a dispersion relation for axisymmetric linear disturbances and growth rate of the unstable modes are calculated numerically. While the secular gravitational instability in the absence of particle-to- gas feedback predicts the dust layer is unstable, magnetic fields significantly amplify the instability if the Toomre parameter for the gas component is fixed. We also show that even a weak magnetic field is able to amplify the instability more or less irrespective of the dust-gas coupling.

The basic objective of this work is to study the heat transfer of Casson fluid of non-Newtonian *** fluid is considered over a vertical plate such that the plate exhibits arbitrary wall shear stress at the *** transfers due to exponential plate heating and natural convection are due to buoyancy ***(MHD)analysis in the occurrence of a uniform magnetic field is also *** medium over the plate is porous and hence Darcy’s law is *** governing equations are established for the velocity and temperature fields by the usual Boussinesq *** problem is first written in dimensionless form using some useful non-dimensional quantities and then *** exact analysis is performed and hence solutions via integral transform are *** analysis of various pertinent parameters on temperature distribution and velocity field are reported *** is found that pours medium permeability parameter retards the fluid motion whereas,velocity decreases with increasing magnetic *** and temperature decrease with increasing Prandtl number whereas the Grashof number enhances the fluid ***,it is concluded from this study that the results obtained here are more general and in a limiting sense several other solutions can be *** Newtonian fluid results can be easily established by taking the Casson parameter infinitely large i.e.,whenβ→∞.

A novel and very simple colorimetric and fluorometric method for selectively sensing F^- was proposed based on 4-bromo-2,6- bis（hydroxymethyl）phenol（BBHMP）,which is a simple and available phenolic receptor the absence of any special chromophoric function and with over wide range of anions（Cl^-,Br^-,I^-,AcO^-,HSO4^-,NO3^- and BzO^-） in DMSO *** colorimetric method is described for naked-eye detection of F^- in the presence of the *** BBHMP was found to show selective and sensitive fluorescence quenching response toward fluoride over than Cl^-,Br^-,I^-,AcO^-,HSO4^-,NO3^- and BzO^-.

The outcrop investigations provide a better comprehension to interrelate facies-diagenesis and fracture networks for the evaluation of reservoir potential of the carbonate *** this paper,we targeted Kahi-Section(Nizampur Basin)and Peeran Tangai-Section(Kalachitta Range)to analyze structural-kinematics,Discrete Fracture Network Modelling,microfacies identification and diagenesis to interpret their impact on reservoir potential of Lockhart Limestone(Paleocene).The structural grain within the study area mostly represents the typical east-west trending tight to overturned folds and north-dipping thrust faults that mimic the north-south Indo-Eurasian ***,a second phase of deformation related to east-west compressions also identified which rotated the axes of preexisting *** analysis revealed that extensional fractures are oriented at high angle to bedding and are differentiated into three orthogonal sets trending northeast-southwest,northwest-southeast and east-west,whereas,the shear fractures formed two conjugate sets trending *** Lockhart Limestone was deposited in the inner ramp setting and microfacies types are packstone,wackestone and wacke-packstone with seven sub-microfacies *** has been identified that the Lockhart Limestone has the heterogeneous distribution of diagenetic and tectonic features throughout its *** observed diagenetic sequence is micritization,calcite cementation,dissolution,neomorphism,pyritization and *** results highlight that open and partially filled fractures may provide an interconnected network to promote fluid mobility,leading to higher values of fracture *** porosity values of the pore matrix were greater than fracture,resulting a significant impact on reservoir storage *** contrast,a negative impact on reservoir potential has been shown by stylolites,veins and dissolution ***,based on the overall studies,the Lockhart Limestone reve

For the challenge of parameter calibration in the process of SWMM(storm water management model)model application,we use particle Swarm Optimization(PSO)and Sequence Quadratic Programming(SQP)in combination to calibrate the parameters and get the optimal parameter combination in this ***,we compare and analyze the simulation result with the other two respectively using initial parameters and parameters obtained by PSO algorithm calibration *** result shows that the calibration result of PSO-SQP combined algorithm has the highest accuracy and shows highly consistent with the actual situation,which provides a scientific and effective new idea for parameter calibration of SWMM model,moreover,has practical guidance for flood control and disaster mitigation.

柴达木盆地是位于青藏高原东北部的重要含油气盆地。受青藏高原隆升的重要影响,在柴达木盆地广泛发育了逆冲断层体系。因此,认识和理解该盆地逆冲断层的形成演化及其对油气运移的控制作用至关重要。本研究在鄂博梁地区重点开展了包括断层露头精细刻画、断盘间地层对置、断裂带演化过程、断层岩类型和断层岩物性等研究。最后,重点剖析了断层演化对断层流体封闭性的影响。本论文中,断层露头精细刻画和断层两盘地层对置分析为理解地质和生产尺度下断层封闭属性提供了宏观的地质框架,为后续断裂带油气运移属性的应用评价提供了基础数据。在此基础上,建立断裂带发育和断层岩类型划分标准对于断裂带封闭性定量评价和预测至关重要。本研究采用了多种方法来计算断裂带的粘土矿物含量,这些方法综合考虑了常用的储层参数,例如泥岩/页岩厚度、泥岩层沿断层的距离、断层断距和泥岩/页岩空间体积等。在柴达木盆地鄂博梁地区,本研究综合采用多尺度的构造解析方法,深入分析了断裂带演化过程和断裂带内部断层岩类型及物性特征。区域尺度的剖面解译和构造恢复为区域断层几何学特征分析提供了一个大尺度框架;通过局部尺度的断层解析,特别是高分辨率的断裂带露头精细刻画,明确了低于地震分辨率的断裂带建造和演化特征;通过微观构造变形分析,进一步揭示了其对断裂带内部断层岩孔渗特征的影响和控制作用。该研究可为柴达木盆地鄂博梁地区的油气勘探与开发提供一定的指导。

MWCNTs/SWCNTs Nanofluid Thin Film Flow over a Nonlinear Extending Disc: OHAM Solution

The aim of this research is the improvement towards the consumption of energy in the field of engineering and industry. The efforts have been paid to the enhancement of heat transmission and cooling process through a nanofluid coating of a nonlinear stretching disc. The combination of Water(H2 O) and multiple walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNT)/single walled carbon nanotubes(SWCNT) have been used as a nanofluid. The spreading of a thin nano-layer with variable thickness over a nonlinear and radially stretching surface has been considered. The estimated results of the problem have been accomplished using the Optimal Homotopy Analysis Method(OHAM). The residual errors of the OHAM method have been shown physically and numerically. The important physical parameters of skin friction and Nusselt number have been calculated and discussed. The other embedding parameters like generalized magnetic parameter, Prantl number, nanofluid volume fraction and Eckert number have been intended and discussed. The obtained results have been compared with the Numerical(ND-Solve) method for both sorts of CNTs. The closed agreement of both methods has been achieved.
