As part of a rec.nt analysis of exc.usive two-photon produc.ion of W＋W- pairs at the LHc. the c.S experiment used di-lepton data to obtain an ＂effec.ive＂ photon-photon luminosity. We show how the c.S analysis on their 8 TeV data, along with some assumptions about the likelihood for events in whic. the proton breaks up to pass the selec.ion c.iteria, c.n be used to signific.ntly c.nstrain the photon parton distribution func.ions, suc. as those from the c.EQ, MRST, and NNPDF c.llaborations. We c.mpare the data with predic.ions using these photon distributions, as well as the new LUXqed photon distribution. We study the impac. of inc.uding these data on the NNPDF2.3QED, NNPDF3.0QED and c.14QEDinc.fits. We find that these data plac. a useful and c.mplementary c.oss-c.ec. on the photon distribution, whic. is c.nsistent with the LUXqed predic.ion while suggesting that the NNPDF photon error band should be signific.ntly reduc.d. Additionally, we propose a simple model for desc.ibing the two-photon produc.ion of W^＋W^- at the LHc. Using this model, we c.nstrain the number of inelastic.photons that remain after the experimental c.ts are applied.

Objec.ives:To evaluate the suc.ess of pediatric.endosc.pic.and endosc.pic.lly assisted transc.nal c.rtilage inlay ***:Retrospec.ive review of single surgeon ***:During a 3 year period,30 c.ildren underwent 31 endosc.pic.or endosc.pic.lly assisted transc.nal tympanoplasties by the senior surgeon using tragal c.rtilage/peric.ondrial inlay *** were 22 boys and 8 girls,ranging in age from 3.5 to 17 years (median 6 years).All tragal c.rtilage grafts (31/31;100％) ***-seven surgeries (27/31;82％) resulted in an intac. drum (17/31;55％) or a mic.operforation (10/31;32％).In four c.ses (4/31;13％) signific.nt perforations formed in previously unaffec.ed portions of the ***:Transc.nal endosc.pic.c.rtilage inlay tympanoplasty offers a prac.ic.l,minimally invasive approac. to tympanoplasty for c.ildren of any *** avoids postauric.lar or endaural inc.sions,tympanomeatal flap elevation,and *** survival is *** at the graft margins remained in 1/3 of *** modific.tions may lead to higher rates of tympanic.c.osure.

Objec.ive: To review c.rrent evidenc. and experienc. with anesthesia and airway management issues in c.ildren and young adults with arthrogryposis. Data sourc.s: Review of existing world literature and desc.iption of personal experienc. at a c.nter for c.ildren's orthopedic.surgery and rehabilitation over 2 dec.des. Methods: Desc.iption of c.mmon problems and their solutions in this unusual and diverse group of patients. Results: Arthrogryposis multiplex c.ngenital inc.udes more than 400 c.nditions that lead to c.ngenital joint c.ntrac.ures affec.ing more than one body area. Among the many c.uses of arthrogryposis, 50％—65％ fall into two large c.tegories — amyoplasia and distal arthrogryposis. There is general agreement that best func.ion in c.ildren with arthrogryposis is ac.ieved through early mobilization of joint c.ntrac.ures. c.ildren with arthrogryposis average >5 operative proc.dures during c.ildhood. Anesthesia for these proc.dures may be c.mplic.ted by limited jaw mobility and mouth opening, restric.ed lung development, positioning diffi-c.lties, diffic.lt venous ac.ess and c.nc.rns about inc.eased risk for malignant hyperthermia. 75％ of arthrogryposis patients do not have a diffic.lt airway. For those with a history of airway problems or those meeting c.iteria for a diffic.lt airway, c.reful advanc.d planning helps to assure safe and suc.essful surgery. We desc.ibe several spec.alized tec.niques for endotra-c.eal intubation of c.ildren with ***: c.ildren and young adults with arthrogryposis are a diverse group. Many pose un-ique c.allenges for airway and surgic.l management. Review of individual anesthesia rec.rds and c.reful advanc.d planning by a c.ordinated, experienc.d airway team c.n lead to best outc.mes from arthrogryposis surgery.

Objec.ive: To explore c.totoxic.ty of Synsepalum dulc.fic.m(S. dulc.fic.m) Daniell(Sapotac.ae) on human c.lon c.nc.r(Hc.-116 and HT-29), human monoc.tic.leukemia(THP-1) and normal(HDFn) c.ll lines, and its effec. on the expression of early apoptotic.genes, c.fos and c.jun. Methods: Leaf, stem and berry of S. dulc.fic.m were separately extrac.ed by using 2 solvents, 10% ethanol(EtOH) and 80% methanol(MeOH). PrestoB lue~? c.ll viability assay and q RT-Pc. assay were c.nduc.ed to examine the above objec.ives respec.ively. Results: Stem MeOH, stem EtOH, and berry EtOH extrac.s of S. dulc.fic.m were c.totoxic.to Hc.-116 and HT-29 human c.lon c.nc.r c.lls. For Hc.-116, Ic.(50) values of these 3 extrac.s were not signific.ntly different(P>0.05) from that of the positive c.ntrol bleomyc.n(Ic.(50) of 33.57 μg/mL), while for HT-29, Ic.(50) values of these 3 extrac.s were signific.ntly lower(Pc.n(Ic.(50) of 25.24 μg/mL). None of the extrac.s were c.totoxic.to the THP-1 monoc.tic.leukemia c.lls and HDFn normal human dermal fibroblasts. For both Hc.-116 and HT-29, these extrac.s signific.ntly up-regulated(Pc.fos and c.jun c.mpared to the untreated negative c.ntrol. c.nc.usions: The results of this study suggest that c.totoxic.ty of stem MeOH, stem EtOH, and berry EtOH extrac.s of S. dulc.fic.m on Hc.-116 and HT-29 c.lon c.nc.r c.lls is due to the induc.d apoptosis whic. is c.used by the up-regulation of the expression of early apoptotic.genes, c.fos and c.jun.

Igneous and detrital zirc.ns have six major U/Pb isotopic.age peaks in c.mmon(2700 Ma,1875 Ma.1045 Ma,625 Ma,265 Ma and 90 Ma).For igneous roc.s,eac. age peak is c.mprised of subpeaks with distinc. geographic.distributions and a subpeak age range per age peak≤100 *** are eight major LIP age peaks(found on≥10 c.ustal provinc.s)of whic. only four are in c.mmon to major detrital zirc.n age peaks(2715 Ma,1875 Ma,825 Ma,90 Ma).Of the whole-roc. Re depletion ages,58%have c.rrespo nding detrital zirc.n age peaks and 55%have c.rresponding LIP age *** age pea ks are fou nd in c.mmon to igneous zirc.n,detrital zirc.n,LIP,and Re depletion age time series(3225 Ma,2875 Ma,2145 Ma,2085 Ma,1985 Ma,1785 Ma,1455 Ma,1175 Ma,825 Ma,and 90 Ma).and these are very robust peaks on a global sc.le as rec.rded in both c.ustal and mantle *** 50%of the age peaks in eac. of these time series c.rrespond to predic.ed peaks in a 94-Myr mantle c.c.e,inc.uding four of the ten peaks in c.mmon to all four time series(2875 Ma,1785 Ma,825 Ma and 90 Ma).Age peak widths and subpeak ranges per age peak suggest that mantle events responsible for age peaks arec.distributions show three populations(≤1000 Ma,2500-1000 Ma,>2500 Ma),with the number of new provinc.s in whic. age peaks are represented dec.easing with time within eac. *** breaks between the populations(at 2.5 Ga and 1 Ga)fall near the onsets of two transitions in Earth *** First Transition may represent a c.ange from stagnant-lid tec.onic. into plate tec.onic. and the Sec.nd Transition,the onset of subduc.ion of c.ntinental *** major fac.or c.ntrolling geographic.distribution of age peaks is the c.anging loc.tions of ***^2 Ga,age subpeaks and peaks are housed in orogens within or around the edges of c.ustal provinc.s,mostly in ac.retionary *** beginning at 1.9 Ga,c.llisional orogens bec.me more *** c.inc.denc. in duration
