Purpose-The purpose of this paper is to introduce a new data dissemination model in order to improve the performance of transmission in *** proposes a protocol named Epidemic and Transmission-Segmentbased geographic Routing(ETSgR)and outlining the issues due to high mobility of nodes and uncertain physical topologies in the *** proposed ETSgR is mainly used to analyze the vehicle state,direction,distance,traffic density and link quality of the ***/methodology/approach-This research work based on ETSgR protocol mainly uses epidemic algorithmin order to find the vehicle state based on susceptible,infected and recovered(SIR)***,the vehicle position and finding the head node in the network is utilized using the transmission segment protocol based on geographic routing and analyses each node to formthe segments and find the destination to transmit the data in timely ***-The paper provides the enhancement of the performance based on some metrics such as end-to-end delaythat obtained 0.62%,data throughput as 32.3%,packetdelivery ratio as 67%and one-hop communicationas 13%.The proposed ETSgR protocolanalyzes the state of the vehiclecorrectly and each node segmented to transmit the data with the timely manner and obtaining reliable performanceeven with highmobility of nodes in the *** limitations/implications-The proposed ETSgR protocol may have some limitation when considering the timing which should improve even in increasing many number of vehicles and different road *** implications-This paper includes some suggestions for the practical deployment of the approach in which a real-time traffic analysis can be evaluated for taking prior actions during an emergency situation and proper dissemination of data in timely manner can help utilize the guidance of proper planning of ***/value-This research fulfills an enhanced protocol to improve the performance of data dissemination.

In many engineering applications such as mining,geotechnical and petroleum industries,drilling operation is widely *** drilling operation produces sound by-product,which could be helpful for preliminary estimation of the rock ***,determination of rock properties is very difficult by the conventional methods in terms of high accuracy,and thus it is expensive and *** this context,a new technique was developed based on the estimation of rock properties using dominant frequencies from sound pressure level generated during diamond core drilling ***,sound pressure level was recorded and sound signals of these sound frequencies were analyzed using fast Fourier transform (FFT).Rock drilling experiments were performed on five different types of rock samples using computer numerical control (CnC) drilling machine BMV 45 *** simple linear regression analysis,mathematical equations were developed for various rock properties,*** compressive strength,Brazilian tensile strength,density,and dominant frequencies of sound pressure *** developed models can be utilized at early stage of design to predict rock properties.

The major goal of this paper is to isolate tumor region from nontumor regions and the estimation of tumor *** segmentation is not an easy task due to the varying size,shape and location of the *** segmentation,volume estimation is necessary in order to accurately estimate the tumor *** exactly estimating the volume of abnormal tissue,physicians can do excellent prognosis,clinical planning and dosage *** paper describes a new Euclidean Similarity factor(ESF)based active contour model with deep learning for segmenting the tumor region into complete,core and enhanced tumor ***,the ESF considers the spatial distances and intensity differences of the region automatically to detect the tumor *** preserves the image details but removes the noisy ***,the 3D Convolutional neural network(3D Cnn)segments the tumor by automatically extracting spatiotemporal ***,the extended shoelace method estimates the volume of the tumor accurately for n-sided *** simulation result achieves a high accuracy of 92%and Jaccard index of 0.912 and computes the tumor volume with effective performance than existing approaches.

Organic matters（OMs） and their oxidization products often influence the fate and transport of heavy metals in the subsurface aqueous systems through interaction with the mineral surfaces. This study investigates the ethanol（EtO H）-mediated As（Ⅲ） adsorption onto Zn-loaded pinecone（PC） biochar through batch experiments conducted under Box–Behnken design. The effect of EtO H on As（Ⅲ） adsorption mechanism was quantitatively elucidated by fitting the experimental data using artificial neural network and quadratic modeling approaches. The quadratic model could describe the limiting nature of EtO H and pH on As（Ⅲ） adsorption,whereas neural network revealed the stronger influence of Et OH（64.5%） followed by pH（20.75%）and As（Ⅲ） concentration（14.75%） on the adsorption phenomena. Besides, the interaction among process variables indicated that Et OH enhances As（Ⅲ） adsorption over a pH range of2 to 7, possibly due to facilitation of ligand–metal（Zn） binding complexation ***, hybrid response surface model–genetic algorithm（RSM–gA） approach predicted a better optimal solution than RSM, i.e., the adsorptive removal of As（Ⅲ）（10.47 μg/g） is facilitated at 30.22 mg C/L of Et OH with initial As（Ⅲ） concentration of 196.77 μg/L at pH 5.8. The implication of this investigation might help in understanding the application of biochar for removal of various As（Ⅲ） species in the presence of OM.

The detection of cyber threats has recently been a crucial research domain as the internet and data drive people’s *** cyber-attacks lead to the compromise of data *** proposed system offers complete data protection from Advanced Persistent Threat(APT)attacks with attack detection and defence *** modified lateral movement detection algorithm detects the APT attacks,while the defence is achieved by the Dynamic Deception system that makes use of the belief update *** termination,every cyber-attack undergoes multiple stages,with the most prominent stage being Lateral Movement(LM).The LM uses a Remote Desktop protocol(RDP)technique to authenticate the unauthorised host leaving footprints on the network and host *** anomaly-based approach leveraging the RDP event logs on Windows is used for detecting the evidence of *** extracting various feature sets from the logs,the RDP sessions are classified using machine-learning techniques with high recall and *** is found that the AdaBoost classifier offers better accuracy,precision,F1 score and recall recording 99.9%,99.9%,0.99 and 0.98%.Further,a dynamic deception process is used as a defence mechanism to mitigateAPTattacks.A hybrid encryption communication,dynamic(Internet Protocol)IP address generation,timing selection and policy allocation are established based on mathematical models.A belief update algorithm controls the defender’s *** performance of the proposed system is compared with the state-of-the-art models.

Stress and emotion are associated with several illnesses from headaches to heart diseases and immune deficiencies to central nervous system. Terminalia arjuna has been referred as traditional Indian medicine for several ailments. The present study aimed to elucidate the effect of T. arjuna bark extract(TA) against picrotoxin-induced anxiety. Forty two male Balb/c mice were randomly divided into six experimental groups(n = 7): control, diazepam(1.5 mg·kg^(–1)), picrotoxin(1 mg·kg^(–1)) and three TA treatemt groups(25, 50, and 100 mg/kg). Behavioral paradigms and PCR studies were performed to determine the effect of TA against picrotoxin-induced anxiety. The results showed that TA supplementation increased locomotion towards open arm(EPM) and illuminated area(light-dark box test), and increased rearing frequency(open field test) in a dose dependent manner, compared to picrotoxin(P ncreased number of licks and shocks in Vogel's conflict. PCR studies showed an up-regulation of several genes, such as BDnF, IP_3, D_2L, CREB, gABAA, SOD, gPx, and gR in TA administered groups. In conclusion, alcoholic extract of TA bark showed protective activity against picrotoxin in mice by modulation of genes related to synaptic plasticity, neurotransmitters, and antioxidant enzymes.

The study focused on investigating the effect of Deep Cryogenic Treatment(DCT)on the mechanical and ballistic properties of AA7075-T6 aluminum *** microstructure,microhardness,tensile strength,and impact strength of the Base Material(BM)and DCT-treated 7075 samples were analyzed through metallographic analysis and mechanical *** microstructure of the DCT-treated 7075 samples revealed fine grains and a distribution of secondary phase *** tensile strength,impact strength,and microhardness of DCT-treated samples increased by 7.41%,4%,and 9.68%,respectively,compared to the BM *** fractography analysis of the tensile samples showed cleavage facets,microvoids,and dimples in both the *** ballistic behavior of the BM and DCT target plates were studied by impacting hard steel core projectiles at a velocity of 750±10 m/*** target plates failed due to petaling and ductile hole enlargement,and the depth of penetration(DOP)of the DCT target was less than that of the BM target,indicating a higher ballistic *** post-ballistic microstructure examination of the target plates showed the formation of an Adiabatic Shear Band(ASB)without any *** was concluded that the DCT treatment improved the mechanical and ballistic properties of the aluminum alloy due to grain refinement and high dislocation density.

This research investigates the mechanical and thermal properties of Morus alba combined with polylactic acid in comparison with other natural fibers. The study uses three different fiber and PLA compositions - 20%, 30%, and 40% respectively - to produce composite materials. In addition, another composite with the same fiber volume is treated with a 4% naOH solution to improve mechanical properties. The composites are processed by twin-screw extrusion, granulation, and injection molding. Tensile strength measurements of raw fibers and naOH-treated fibers were carried out using a single-fiber tensile test with a gauge length of 40 mm. It was observed that the naOH surface treatment increases the resistance against tensile loading and exhibited improved properties for raw fiber strands. The diameter of the fibers was measured using optical microscopy. During this research, flexural tests, impact tests, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and heat deflection temperature measurements (HDT) were conducted to evaluate the mechanical and thermal properties of the developed composite samples. The results indicate that the mechanical properties of naOH-treated Morus alba-reinforced polylactic acid outperform both virgin PLA samples and untreated Morus alba samples.
