Performance evaluation of DHRR-RIS based HP design using machine learning algorithms

Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces(RIS)have emerged as a promising technology for improving the reliability of massive MIMO communication ***,conventional RIS suffer from poor Spectral Efficiency(SE)and high energy consumption,leading to complex Hybrid Precoding(HP)*** address these issues,we propose a new low-complexity HP model,named Dynamic Hybrid Relay Reflecting RIS based Hybrid Precoding(DHRR-RIS-HP).Our approach combines active and passive elements to cancel out the downsides of both conventional *** first design a DHRR-RIS and optimize the pilot and Channel State Information(CSI)estimation using an adaptive threshold method and Adaptive Back Propagation neural network(ABPnn)algorithm,respectively,to reduce the Bit Error Rate(BER)and energy *** optimize the data stream,we cluster them into private and public streams using Enhanced Fuzzy C-Means(EFCM)algorithm,and schedule them based on priority and emergency *** maximize the sum rate and SE,we perform digital precoder optimization at the Base Station(BS)side using Deep Deterministic Policy gradient(DDPg)algorithm and analog precoder optimization at the DHRR-RIS using Fire Hawk Optimization(FHO)*** implement our proposed work using MATLAB R2020a and compare it with existing works using several validation *** results show that our proposed work outperforms existing works in terms of SE,Weighted Sum Rate(WSR),and BER.

The Lower to Middle Proterozoic Sakoli fold belt in Central India forms a triangular belt with significant mineralization of strategic *** Sakoli fold belt comprises metasediments,felsic and mafic volcanics with metabasalts bounded by the gneissic-migmatitic *** last pulses of granitic activity in the form of quartz lenses intrude the metasediments and are associated with tungsten *** metasediments are intruded by the quartz veins and tourmaline breccias trending 60°n to 65°E and 60°S to 65°W and are parallel to the regional structural *** tungsten mineralization in this area is restricted to tourmaline-quartz mica greisens and quartz *** nE-SW trending foliated contact zones of chlorite mica schist and porphyritic granite/gneisses have served as easy channels for the mineralizing vapours and solutions to percolate,which formed ore bearing greisens and quartz *** mineralization is erratic and manifested by sparse and sporadic disseminations of wolframite and scheelite associated with minor amount of molybdenite and *** fluid inclusion microthermometry on mineralized quartz veins and quartz-tourmaline veins reveals the existence of a metamorphogenic aqueous-gaseous(H2O-CO2+naCl)fluid that underwent phase separation and gave rise to gaseous(CO2)*** salinity of tungsten mineralizations varies from low to high(1.32 wt.%to 40.44 wt.%naCl eq.).The estimated P-T range of tungsten mineralization varies from 1.2 to 2.2 kbar at 280 to 390℃.Raman spectroscopy reveals that the fluid inclusions mainly contain H2O and CO2 with rarely H2S and *** isotopic data reveal that the sulfur isotope fractions from the depositsδ^34S ranging from+3.1‰to+3.35‰,suggesting the deep crustal source for the sulfur,which can be further interpreted as a single(magmatic)supply of sulfur during magmatic-hydrothermal *** studies reveal the presence of chlorides such as FeCl2/MgCl2 and CaCl2,indicating t

A Context Sensitive Multilevel Thresholding Using Swarm Based Algorithms

In this paper, a comprehensive energy function is used to formulate the three most popular objective functions:Kapur's, Otsu and Tsalli's functions for performing effective multilevel color image thresholding. These new energy based objective criterions are further combined with the proficient search capability of swarm based algorithms to improve the efficiency and robustness. The proposed multilevel thresholding approach accurately determines the optimal threshold values by using generated energy curve, and acutely distinguishes different objects within the multi-channel complex images. The performance evaluation indices and experiments on different test images illustrate that Kapur's entropy aided with differential evolution and bacterial foraging optimization algorithm generates the most accurate and visually pleasing segmented images.

Chemical composition and source apportionment of PM2.5 and PM2.5-10 in Trombay （Mumbai, India）, a coastal industrial area

PM2.5 and PM2.5 lo concentrations, elemental constituents, and sources in a densely populated coastal industrial area （Trombay, Mumbai） were investigated in 2010 and *** PM2.s and PM2.s lo concentra- tions were 13.50-71.60 and 22.40-127.78 p^g/m3, respectively. The daily PM25 concentrations exceeded the Indian Central Pollution Control Board limit （60 μg/m3） several days in winter. Of the elements analyzed, Si then Al had the highest concentrations in PM2.5- 10, but black carbon then Si had the highest concentrations in PM2.s. The element concentrations varied widely by season. Al, Ca, Fe, Si, and Ti con- centrations were highest in summer, Cl, Mg, and na concentrations were highest in the monsoon season, and the other trace metal concentrations in both PM2.5 and PM2.5-10 were highest in winter. The PM2.5 and PM2.5-10 sources were apportioned by positive matrix factorization. PM2.5 and PM2.5-10 had six dominant sources, crustal material （8.7% and 25.3%, respectively）, sea salt spray （6.1% and 15.0%, respectively）, coal/biomass combustion （25.5% and 13.8%, respectively）, fuel oil combustion （19.0% and 11.2%, respectively）, road traffic （ 17.7% and 12.6%, respectively）, and the metal industry （ 10.6% and 7.0%, respectively）. Anthropogenic sources clearly contributed most to PM2.5 but natural sources contributed most to PM2.5-10.

Current focus of stem cell application in retinal repair

The relevance of retinal diseases, both in society's economy and in the quality of people's life who suffer with them, has made stem cell therapy an interesting topic forresearch. Embryonic stem cells(ESCs), induced pluripotent stem cells(i PSCs) and adipose derived mesenchymal stem cells(ADMSCs) are the focus in current endeavors as a source of different retinal cells, such as photoreceptors and retinal pigment epithelial cells. The aim is to apply them for cell replacement as an option for treating retinal diseases which so far are untreatable in their advanced stage. ESCs, despite the great potential for differentiation, have the dangerous risk of teratoma formation as well as ethical issues, which must be resolved before starting a clinical trial. i PSCs, like ESCs, are able to differentiate in to several types of retinal cells. However, the process to get them for personalized cell therapy has a high cost in terms of time and money. Researchers are working to resolve this since i PSCs seem to be a realistic option for treating retinal diseases. ADMSCs have the advantage that the procedures to obtain them are easier. Despite advancements in stem cell application, there are still several challenges that need to be overcome before transferring the research results to clinical application. This paper reviews recent research achievements of the applications of these three types of stem cells as well as clinical trials currently based on them.
