The study evaluated the feasibility of using microwave enhanced hot air heating system for simultaneous dry blanching and dehydration of mushroom slices. The technology involves application of microwave energy at the beginning of dehydration process to inactivate enzymes as well as to remove a certain amount of moisture at the same time and then followed by hot air drying to complete the process. The study investigated effects of different processing parameters, i.e., microwave power level and exposure time on dehydration and quality characteristics of mushroom slices. Mushroom slices were pretreated with different microwave power levels of 240, 360 and 480 W for 1, 3 and 5 min before the hot air-drying. The optimum range of the microwave power level and pretreatment time was found to be 360 W, 3 min and 360 W, 1 min in obtaining the maximum and minimum levels of response parameters.

Biliary atresia(BA), a chronic progressive cholestatic disease of infants, is the leading cause for liver transplant in children, especially in patients under two years of age. BA can be successfully treated with the Kasai portoenterostomy; however most patients still require a liver transplant, with up to one half of BA children needing a transplant by age two. In the current pediatric end-stage liver disease system, children with BA face the risk of not receiving a liver in a safe and timely manner. In this review, we discuss a number of possible solutions to help these children. We focus on two general approaches:(1) preventing/delaying need for transplantation, by optimizing the success of the Kasai operation; and(2) expediting transplantation when needed, by performing techniques other than the standard deceased-donor, whole, ABO-matched organ transplant.

Hoffa＇s fracture is an uncommon fracture of the femoral condyle with coronal orientation of the fracture line. The mechanism of injury in pediatric Hoffa＇s fracture is road traffic accident, sports injury, and trivial injury. Clinical examination and proper imaging is important for diagnosis of pediatric Hoffa＇s fracture because of high chances of missing these injuries which can lead to nonunion and malunion at the fracture site. Open reduction and anatomical reduction of intraarticular fragment is the gold standard treatment of these fractures. We present a rare case of Hoffa＇s fracture in a 16-year-old girl with asso- ciated ipsilateral fibular fracture.

This paper presents a record of radiolarian species from the sections (1H1-1H2) Leg 119 Site 738B of Southern Ocean region. Well diversified taxa of typical Antarctic assemblage are present in the sections. Thirty species were identified and illustrated from twenty-nine samples. On the basis of appearance, disappearance and abundance of taxa, viz. Omega and Psi zones are established and systematics of stratigraphically important species is described. These zones are equivalent to NR1 and NR2 of Upper Quaternary.

^57Fe Mossbauer spectroscopic study was carried out on the organic rich sedimentary samples collected at different depth intervals from newly drilled test well chinnewala Tibba-1（CT-1） located in Jaisalmer Petroliferous basin India. It is found that iron is mainly distributed in high spin Fe^3＋and Fe^2＋ state in clay minerals. The plot of Fe^2＋/（Fe^2＋＋ Fe^3＋） indicates the presence of poor redox conditions in the *** obtained are also compared with those already reported in the literature. This comparison shows that there may exist a correlation between prospecting of the basin, the redox environment in sediments and the nature of iron bearing minerals distributed in the sedimentary sequence.

In this paper, a comprehensive energy function is used to formulate the three most popular objective functions:Kapur's, Otsu and Tsalli's functions for performing effective multilevel color image thresholding. These new energy based objective criterions are further combined with the proficient search capability of swarm based algorithms to improve the efficiency and robustness. The proposed multilevel thresholding approach accurately determines the optimal threshold values by using generated energy curve, and acutely distinguishes different objects within the multi-channel complex images. The performance evaluation indices and experiments on different test images illustrate that Kapur's entropy aided with differential evolution and bacterial foraging optimization algorithm generates the most accurate and visually pleasing segmented images.

中国自1978年改革开放以来,其经济迅猛发展。同时,贸易方式也发生了巨大的转变,由最初的“三来一补”为特征的加工贸易逐步转变为开发自有品牌的贸易模式。不得不承认,中国改革开放30多年来,其在各方面都已经取得了令世人瞩目的成就。当前,全球经济整体下滑,尤其是欧美国家需求疲软和中国国内需求不足的情况下,中国以出口为主的外向型经济的发展受到了严重的制约。同第三世界国家如南亚地区发展经贸关系将会是中国转变外贸结构的必然选择。中国国家总理李克强在2013年5月访问印度期间,双方提议建设孟中印缅经济走廊,以此来加强中印两个大市场的贸易伙伴关系。同年中国国家主席习近平提出“一带一路”的战略构想,为进一步深化中国与友好国家的合作提供了契机。一方面,中国改革玩具行业既是世界玩具生产大国同时又是出口大国。但是另一方面,中国玩具行业还存在着很多的困难,比较突出的如面临着如何更好地拓宽国际市场的问题。印度经济近些年飞速发展,人们的生活水平也在不断提高,同时居住环境和办公条件日益改善,市场对玩具的需求量也不断扩大,为中国玩具产品提供了良好的海外拓展空间。在此背景下,本文首先对营销策略理论、现代营销组合理论、国际市场营销理论等相关理论和国内外众多学者研究成果的梳理,为后文研究提供理论和研究基础;其次,分析了印度玩具市场需求特点、玩具营销策略制定的影响因素,建立中国玩具产品印度市场营销策略制定影响因素体系;第三,以A玩具生产企业为例,通过SWOT分析法深入剖析其开拓印度市场的必要性、可行性,并提出相关营销策略;最后,对中国玩具企业如何进一步拓展印度市场提出了一些具有针对性的策略,以期对相关行业企业实施海外营销提供借鉴。

Background： Precision medicine attempts to tailor the right therapy for the right patient. Recent progress in large- scale collection of patents＇ tumor molecular profiles in The Cancer Genome Atlas （TCGA） provides a foundation for systematic discovery of potential drug targets specific to different types of cancer. However, we still lack powerful computational methods to effectively integrate multiple omics data and protein-protein interaction network technology for an optimum target and drug recommendation for an individual patient. Methods： In this study, a computation method, Precision Medicine Target-Drug Selection （PMTDS） based on genetic interaction networks is developed to select the optimum targets and associated drugs for precision medicine style treatment of cancer. The PMTDS system includes three parts： a personalized medicine knowledgebase for each cancer type, a genetic interaction network-based algorithm and a single patient molecular profiles. The knowledgebase integrates cancer drugs, drug-target databases and gene biological pathway networks. The molecular profiles of each tumor consists of DNA copy number alteration, gene mutation, and tumor gene expression variation compared to its adjacent normal tissue. Results： The novel integrated PMTDS system is applied to select candidate target-drug pairs for 178 TCGA pancreatic adenocarcinoma （PDAC） tumors. The experiment results show known drug targets （EGFR, IGF1R, ERBB2, NRII2 and AKR1B1） of PDAC treatment are identified, which provides important evidence of the PMTDS algorithm＇s accuracy. Other potential targets PTK6, ATF, SYK are, also, recommended for PDAC. Further validation is provided by comparison of selected targets with, both, cell line molecular profiles from the Cancer Cell Line Encyclopedia （CCLE） and drug response data from the Cancer Therapeutics Response Portal （CTRP）.
