The rapid construction of artificial reservoirs in metropolises has promoted the emergence of city-river-reservoir systems *** study investigated the environmental behaviors and risks of heavy metals in the aquatic environment of a typical system composed of main watersheds in Suzhou and Jinze Reservoir in *** shown that Mn,Zn and Cu were the dominant metals detected in multiple ***,Mn and Zn were mainly presented in exchangeable fraction and exhibited high *** proportion and high mobility of metals were found in suspended particulate matter(SPM),suggesting that SPM can greatly affect metal multi-phase distribution ***,city system(Ci S)exhibited more serious metal pollution and higher ecological risk than river system(Ri S)and reservoir system(Re S)owing to the diverse emission *** S and Re S were regarded as critical pollution source and sink,respectively,while Ri S was a vital transportation *** community in sediments exhibited evident spatial variation and obviously modified by exchangeable metals and *** particular,Bacteroidetes and Firmicutes presented significant positive correlations with most exchangeable *** assessment implied that As,Sb and Ni in water may pose potential carcinogenic risk to human ***,Re S was in a fairly safe *** was the main risk contributor in SPM,while Cu,Zn,Ni and Sb showed moderate risk in ***,Hg,Sb and Ci S were screened out as priority metals and system,*** attention should be paid to these priority issues to promote the sustainable development of the watershed.

For gaining fundamental insight into coating wear mechanisms and increasing operational efficiency and automation degree of equipment in important application fields of coating techniques,it is of great importance to developing novel wear measurement techniques enabling nanoscale studies of coating wear in the running process,but this remains a significant ***,a facile strategy is reported to achieve accurate coating thickness quantification at nanoscale level,which is based on a bilayer structure:a top target layer of a-C:H(hydrogenated amorphous carbon)film is considered as a light attenuating and anti-wear layer while underlayer of silicon serves as Raman-sensing *** constructing the relationship between the thickness of a-C:H and Raman intensity of attenuated silicon signal,the coating thickness quantification method is established and successfully applied to quantify coating wear in the friction *** approach can effectively avoid remarkable errors caused by tribo-induced effects in the interface regions,demonstrating its advantage in error *** about these tribo-induced effects are also elucidated by a combination of Raman spectroscopy,optical profilometer,EELS,and *** particular,the proposed approach enables the possibility of measuring coating wear with oil film on top,which breaks an important limitation of existed wear measurement methods,i.e.,incapable of applying in oil-lubricated *** approach can be used to quantify the wear condition of diverse target coatings and has the potential of online wear monitoring when combining a compact laser excitation and detection system.

The purpose of this article is to propose the idea of ＂a partial stability constant＂ for the complex formation of polyamine polyacetic acids with tripositive rare earth ion. Each coordinating group has its own characteristic stability constant,i.e.,＂the partial stability constant＂ and simple numerical addition can be used among the partial logarithm of the stability constant（PLSC）, for explanation of the total stability constants. The structures of the rare earth-diethylenetriamine-N,N,N＇,N＇,N＂-pentaacetic acid（DTPA）complexes in aqueous solution has been discussed from the point of PLSC.

An auxiliary power supply(Aux-PS)has become an essential component of electronic equipment for many industrial applications,such as in motor drives,photovoltaic(PV)inverters,uninterruptible power supply(UPS)systems and modular multilevel *** introduction of 1700 V silicon carbide(SiC)metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistors(MOSFETs)is useful for such applications,providing benefits with respect to a low on-state resistance,smaller package,low switching loss and single-switching implementation.A single end flyback Aux-PS is designed for industrial applications with a wide input voltage range using 1.7 kV SiC *** special design tradeoffs involved in the usage of SiC MOSFETs are discussed in detail,such as those with regard to gate driving voltage selection,isolation transformer design considerations,and clamping circuit design details.A 60 W demonstration hardware is developed and tested under different working *** results verify the higher efficiency and better thermal performance of the proposed hardware relative to those of traditional Si solutions.

Microplastics(MPs)are ubiquitous in marine sedimentary *** occurrence in horseshoe crabs and interactions with the sedimentary environment has not been *** this study,MPs,mostly microfibers,were found in all extracted gastrointestinal tract(GIT)samples of the juvenile Tachypleus tridentatus from the northern Beibu Gulf,*** MP concentrations(4–53 items ind-1)were higher than those in most marine benthic invertebrates(<15 items ind-1)reported in Chinese waters,despite their generally low level in habitat sediments(9–1818 items kg-1).The correlation between the juveniles and sediments was not evident,but the abundance in juvenile horseshoe crab GITs decreased with *** findings were relevant to the life-history characteristics of the species,typically with limited dispersal capability and their spending nine years or longer time living in mangrove wetlands during low tides,with apparent ontogenetic changes in their *** baseline data enable a better understanding of MP availability in benthic macroinvertebrates,and the ecological risks present in the ecosystems.
