Octavinyl polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) was polymerized on the surface of Fe3O4 nanoparticles (NPs) and then the NPs were functionalized with carboxylic acid groups using thiol-ene click reactions with thioglycolic *** as-prepared Fe3O4@POSS-COOH magnetic hybrid NPs had mesoporous structures with an average particle diameter of 15 nm and a relatively high specific surface area of 447 m^2· g^-*** results showed that 4 mg of Fe3O4@POSS-COOH NPs efficiently adsorbed and removed methylene blue from water at 5 *** is due to the presence of both carboxylic acid and pendant vinyl groups on the Fe3O4@POSS-COOH *** NPs could be easily withdrawn from water within a few seconds under moderate magnetic field and showed high stability in acid and alkaline aqueous mediums.

Objective： Falls are one of the life events leading to injury and in serious cases cause high morbidity and mortality. This research was conducted to determine the fall incidence among female population of Kashan city from the years 2005 to 2008. Methods： This was a retrospective research using existing data from the data bank of trauma center of Kashan University of Medical Sciences. Records of all the female patients treated at local hospitals with complete hospitalisation kept at the center were examined for 4 con- secutive years from 2005 to 2008. Results： A total of 2 094 female patients＇ records were examined. A significantly higher incidence of injuy occurred in 2008 compared to 2005 （P〈0.0001）. In addition, the highest frequency of injury occurred in age group above 65 years （31.9%） and in group with elementary education level （42.8%）. Conclusion： The results showed that fall incidences occurred in the old age group above 65 years. Fall injuries at this age may cause disability. Therefore, preventive measures should be taken, such as increasing the awareness of the aging population about the seriousness of fall incidence and encouraging the aged individuals to get involved in fitness program to remain physical fit and healthy.

Objective:To evaluate the effect of Shilajit,a medicine of Ayurveda,on the serum changes in cytokines and adipokines caused by non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).Methods:After establishing fatty liver models by feeding a high-fat diet(HFD)for 12 weeks,35 Wistar male rats were randomly divided into5 groups,including control(standard diet),Veh(HFD+vehicle),high-dose Shilajit[H-Sh,HFD+250 mg/(kg·d)Shilajit],low-dose Shilajit[L-Sh,HFD+150 mg/(kg·d)Shilajit],and pioglitazone[HFD+10 mg/(kg·d)pioglitazone]groups,7 rats in each *** 2-week of gavage administration,serum levels of glucose,insulin,interleukin1 beta(IL-1β),IL-6,IL-10,tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α),adiponectin,and resistin were measured,and insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR)was ***:After NAFLD induction,the serum level of IL-10 significantly increased and serum IL-1β,TNF-αlevels significantly decreased by injection of both doses of Shilajit and pioglitazone(P<0.05).Increases in serum glucose level and homeostasis model of HOMA-IR were reduced by L-Sh and H-Sh treatment in NAFLD rats(P<0.05).Both doses of Shilajit increased adiponectin and decreased serum resistin levels(P<0.05).Conclusion:The probable protective role of Shilajit in NAFLD model rats may be via modulating the serum levels of IL-1β,TNF-α,IL-10,adipokine and resistin,and reducing of HOMA-IR.

Objective:To clone the virB12 gene in pET28a expression vector for production of recombinant protein to be used as antigenic component for future serological test ***: Brucella melitensis(***) 16M strain was cultured and bacterial DNA was extracted by Bioneer AccuPrep~ Genomic DNA Extraction *** primer pair was designed based on Brucella virB12 gene sequence with BamHI and HindIII restriction site at 5’ end of the forward and reverse primers,*** amplification was performed using PrimSTAR~ HS DNA polymerase and the PCK product was purified by DNA AccuPrepGel Purification *** DNA was cloned into pJET1.2 cloning ***12 gene fragment was excised from pJET1.2 asing BamHI/HindIII and subsequendy subcloned into pET28a(+).Results:Brucella virB12 gene was successfully cloned in pJET1.2 and then in pET28a(+) *** and restriction enzyme digestion confirms the ***:We cloned and expressed the Brucella virB12 gene which could be used as antigenic component for specific serological assay development.

In this article, we introduce and investigate the concept of multivalued hybrid mappings in C AT（0） spaces by using the concept of quasilinearization. Also, we present a new iterative algorithm involving products of Moreau-Yosida resolvents for finding a common element of the set of minimizers of a finite family of convex functions and a common fixed point of two multivalued hybrid mappings in C AT（0） spaces.

Objective:To investigate antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects of Tagetes minuta(***)essential ***:In the present study *** essential oil was obtained from leaves of *** via hydro-distillation and then was analyzed by gas chromatography-mass *** antioxidant capacity of *** essential oil was examined by measuring reactive oxygen,reactive nitrogen species and hydrogen peroxide *** anti-inflammatory activity of *** essential oil was determined through measuring NADH oxidase,inducible nitric oxide synthase and TNF-αmRNA expression in lipopolysacharide-stimulated murine macrophages using realtime ***:Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis indicated that the main components in the *** essential oil were dihydrotagetone(33.86%),E-ocimene(19.92%).tagetone(16.15%),cis-β-ocimene(7.94%),Z-ocimene(5.27%).limonene(3.1%)and epoxyocimene(2.03%).The *** essential oil had the ability to scavenge all reactive oxygen/reactive nitrogen species radicals with IC_(50)12-15μg/mL,which indicated a potent radical scavenging *** addition,*** essential oil significantly reduced NADH oxidase,inducible nitric oxide synthaseand TNF-αmRNA expression in the cells at concentrations of 50μg/mL,indicating a capacity of this product to potentially modulate/diminish immune ***:*** essential oil has radical scavenging and anti-inflammatory activities and could potentially be used as a safe effective source of natural anti-oxidants in therapy against oxidative damage and stress associated with some inflammatory conditions.

Background In this research the symptom improvement of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) of children was assessed by oral vitamin D administration in Tabriz,*** In this double-blind,randomized clinical trials,96 children (2-18 years) were enrolled to placebo and vitamin D *** took vitamin D pearl (50,000 IU/week) or placebo for 6 ***,who had the change in methylphenidate dosage and received any anticonvulsants and corticosteroids were excluded from the *** symptoms were diagnosed by Conners parent rating scale (CPRS) test at baseline and after *** Conners divided into inattention (IA),hyperactivity/impulsivity (H/I) and combination type (C) *** D serum level was assessed at baseline and after 8 weeks in both *** The differences between CPRS and its subscales were not significant at baseline (P > 0.05).The Conners IA score was decreased in vitamin D group (P amin D compared to placebo (P amin D improved ADHD symptoms with a particular effect on inattention *** addition,symptoms related to all subscales were improved remarkably in patients with insufficient level of vitamin *** D treatment in children with ADHD could be considered due to the expand benefit of vitamin D in body.

Prediction of malaria cases in the southeastern Iran using climatic variables:An 18-year SARIMA time series analysis

Objective:To predict future trends in the incidence of malaria cases in the southeast of Iran as the most important area of malaria using Seasonal Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average(SARIMA)model,and to check the effect of meteorological variables on the disease ***:SARIMA method was applied to fit a model on malaria incidence from April 2001 to March 2018 in Sistan and Baluchistan province in southeastern *** variables such as temperature,rainfall,rainy days,humidity,sunny hours and wind speed were also included in the multivariable model as ***,the best fitted model was adopted to predict the number of malaria cases for the next 12 ***:The best-fitted univariate model for the prediction of malaria in the southeast of Iran was SARIMA(1,0,0)(1,1,1)12[Akaike Information Criterion(AIC)=307.4,validation root mean square error(RMSE)=0.43].The occurrence of malaria in a given month was mostly related to the number of cases occurring in the previous 1(p=1)and 12(P=1)*** inverse number of rainy days with 8-month lag(β=0.3292)and temperature with 3-month lag(β=-0.0026)were the best predictors that could improve the predictive performance of the univariate ***,SARIMA(1,0,0)(1,1,1)12 including mean temperature with a 3-month lag(validation RMSE=0.414)was selected as the final multivariable ***:The number of malaria cases in a given month can be predicted by the number of cases in the prior 1 and 12 *** number of rainy days with an 8-month lag and temperature with a 3-month lag can improve the predictive power of the model.

Apart from number and size of machines in a farm,operations scheduling can also affect timeliness *** this study a new equation was presented for determination of timeliness costs and it was proven that the new equation is a generalization of the well-known ASABE standard *** on the new equation,a parameter namely,timeliness index was defined that indicates the distribution of an operation around the optimum time of performing the *** minimizing the index,the whole timeliness cost is *** the planting operation is highly sensitive to its time of accomplishment,timeliness cost was determined *** this study the optimum planting starting date(opls)regarding the concept of timeliness costs,was *** for any reason,the planting operation cannot be performed in the minimum planting period,an optimization method is required to determine *** this,a numerical approach and an analytical method were presented for determination of opls and a computer model was developed based on the numerical *** was determined for the Research Farm of the University of Tehran in Karaj–Iran and both methods showed good agreement with each other.
