Nowadays,smart buildings rely on Internet of things(loT)technology derived from the cloud and fog computing paradigms to coordinate and collaborate between connected objects.Fog is characterized by low latency with a wider spread and geographically distributed nodes to support mobility,real-time interaction,and location-based services.To provide optimum quality of user life in moderm buildings,we rely on a holistic Framework,designed in a way that decreases latency and improves energy saving and services efficiency with different capabilities.Discrete EVent system Specification(DEVS)is a formalism used to describe simulation models in a modular way.In this work,the sub-models of connected objects in the building are accurately and independently designed,and after installing them together,we easily get an integrated model which is subject to the fog computing Framework.Simulation results show that this new approach significantly,improves energy efficiency of buildings and reduces latency.Additionally,with DEVS,we can easily add or remove sub-models to or from the overall model,allowing us to continually improve our designs.

Today, grid technology has evolved to the point where it is no longer a theory but a proven practice. It represents a viable direction for corporations to explore grid computing as an answer to their business needs within tight financial constraints. In general, grids enable the efficient sharing and management of computing resources for the purpose of performing large complex tasks. Data grid provides the data management features to enable data access, synchronization, and distribution of a grid. The main aim here is to ensure a efficient access and quality data, to improve the availability, and be able to continue delivering acceptable services. In such systems, these advantages are not yielded by means others than replication mechanisms. The effective use the replication technique involves several problems, in relation with the problem of the coherence maintenance of replicas. Our contribution consists new service for the consistency management in the data grid. This service combines between pessimistic and optimistic approaches, taking into account benefits of both approaches, to find a compromise between performance and quality. In addition, our service has been extended by a mechanism placement of replicas based on economics model.

A facile and efficient synthesis of new 1,4-dihydropyridine derivatives was reported via Hantzsch three-com- ponent condensation reaction of aldehydes or formylphenylboronic acids, ethyl acetoacetate, and ammonium acetate in the presence of a catalytic amount of triethylamine under solvent-free conditions. The method described here of- fers several advantages including high yields, short reaction times, and simple work-up procedure.

Antibacterial potential of essential oils of the needles of Pinus halepensis against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli

Objective:To examine the in vitro antimicrobial activities of essential oil of the needles of Pinus halepensis(P.halepensis).Methods:The antibacterial activity of essential oil of the needles of P.halepensis was determined using the agar well diffusion technique and disc diffusion method against Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923,and Escherichia coli ATCC 25922.Results:The diameter of zones of inhibition exhibited by the essential oil was between 6 and 17 mm.The essential oils was compared favorably with gentamycin used as a standard control.The minimum inhibitory concentration determined by the agar well diffusion method was 0.52 mg/mL for Staphylococcus aureus and 2.15 mg/mL for Escherichia coli.The minimum bactericidal concentration of the oils against the two microorganisms was 4.17 mg/mL.Conclusions:The results obtained from this study reveal that P.halepensis essential oils possess antibacterial activities and can be used as antimicrobial agents in the search for new drugs.

Objective:To evaluate the in vitro antimicrobial activities of the crude oil of Eucalyptus camaldulensis(E.camaldulensis)leaves.Methods:The essential oils of E.camaldulensis harvested from the garden of the Health Center in Sidi Bel Abbes city(North West of Algeria),were screened for their antibacterial activities against two clinical bacteria[Escherichia coli(E.coli),Staphylococcus aureus(S.aureus)]by the agar disc diffusion method and broth dilution susceptibility assay.Results:The diameter of zones of inhibition by the leaf extracts of E.camaldulensis was 10-31 mm and 10-26 mm respectively for E.coli and S.aureus.Gram positive S.aureus was more resistant to tested essential oil than Gram negative E.coli.Conclusions:The results suggested a potential antimicrobial activity of the essential oil of E.camaldulensis,which may find its application in future research for the food and pharmaceutical industry.

Cdc25 phosphatase have been regarded as attractive drug targets for anticancer therapies due to the correlation of their over expression with a wide variety of cancers. They are key regulators of cell cycle progression and play a central role in the checkpoint response to DNA damage. The role of Cdc25 s in cancer has become increasingly evident in recent years. More than 20 studies of patient samples are from diverse cancers show significant overexpression of Cdc25 with frequent correlation to clinical outcome. Recent screening and design efforts have yielded novel classes of inhibitors that show specificity for the Cdc25 s over other phosphatases and cause cell cycle arrest in vivo. Until now, quinone derivatives are among the most efficient inhibitors of Cdc25 phosphatase activity. Our research objective is to study the inhibition of the phosphathase Cdc25 through the molecular modeling methods.

Struvite (MgNH4PO46H2O) crystals were produced by infection associated with urea generating organ- isms.The aim of this study is to examine the interactions between the enzyme urease and two inhibitors, the first is an inhibitor monoatomic: Aluminum and the second is a polyatomic: Citrate by the methods of molecular modeling: molecular mechanics, molecular dynamics (MM+, AMBER) and molecular docking (FleX). Supersaturated solutions induce crystallization by nucleation and subsequent crystal growth .The mechanisms for the formation of calcium phosphate urinary stones are still not understood. Chemicals prod- uct has been studied extensively as inhibitors and has been observed in the attachment of crystals to in vitro study. As a complement we have using an electron microscope Hitachi TM1000, we examined specimens of crystals struvite. The various figures show a set of grains of sizes of the order of 20 μm. The majority of these particles present regular forms. This suggests the crystal growing. This result to an alteration in the expression of these faces and the development of a characteristic architectural struvite morphology. Similar changes were observed in the presence of identical concentrations of citrate acid, and Alluminuium, emphasizing the unique interaction of phosphocitrate with the struvite crystal.

The late Neoproterozoïc Toubkal inlier (Ancient Massif of the High-Atlas, Morocco) contains two igneous basaltic series (Tircht and Sidi Chamharouch). Investigated rocks display characteristics of within-plate continental tholeiitic and are similar to rocks originated in orogenic contexts. The geochemical results allow the assumption that subduction active processes are indirectly responsible for the genesis of theses rocks. The orogenic signature is linked probably to a Pan-African magmatic source previously metasomatized in the northern margin of the West African Craton.
