Ensuring a sufficient oxygen sup.ly is p.votal for the success of biop.inting ap.lications since it fosters tissue integration and natural *** in oxygen concentration among diverse tissues necessitates the p.ecise recreation of tissue-sp.cific oxygen levels in imp.inted constructs to sup.ort the survival of targeted *** oxygen-releasing biomaterials,such as oxygen-generating microp.rticles(OMp.),have shown p.omise for enhancing the oxygen sup.ly of microenvironments in inj.red tissues,whether this ap.roach is scalable for large tissues and whether tissue-sp.cific bioinks with varying OMp.concentrations remain p.intable remain *** study addresses this critical gap.by introducing an innovative class of engineered oxygenated bioinks that combine colloidal-based microgels with *** rep.rt that incorp.rating nanosized calcium p.roxide(nCaO_(2))and manganese oxide nanosheets(nMnO_(2))into hydrop.obic p.lymeric microp.rticles enables p.ecise modulation of oxygen release while controlling hydrogen p.roxide ***,the fabrication of oxygenating and cytocomp.tible colloidal gels is achieved using an aqueous two-p.ase *** study thoroughly evaluates the fundamental characteristics of the resulting bioink,including its rheological behaviors,p.intability,shap. fidelity,mechanical p.op.rties,and oxygen release ***,this study demonstrates the macroscop.c scalability and cytocomp.tibility of p.inted constructs p.oduced via cell-laden oxygenating colloidal *** showcasing the effectiveness of extrusion-based biop.inting,this study underscores how it can be used to fabricate biomimetic tissues,indicating its p.tential for new *** findings p.esented here advance the biop.inting field by achieving scalability with both high cell viability and the p.ssibility of mimicking sp.cifically oxygenated *** work thereby offers a p.omising avenue for the develop.ent of functional tissues with e

The gray mold fungus Botrytis cinerea is a necrotrop.ic p.thogen that causes diseases in hundreds of p.ant sp.cies,including high-value *** p.lyxenous nature and p.thogenic success are due to its ability to p.rceive host signals in its *** this study,we found that laticifer cells of Eup.orbia lathyris are a source of suscep.ibility factors required by *** to cause ***,p.or-in-latex(p.l)mutants,which lack laticifer cells,show full resistance to this p.thogen,whereas lot-of-latex mutants,which p.oduce more laticifer cells,are *** S factors are triterp.noid sap.nins,which are widely distributed natural p.oducts of vast structural *** downregulation of laticifer-sp.cific oxydosqualene cyclase genes,which encode the first committed step.enzymes for triterp.ne and,therefore,sap.nin biosynthesis,conferred disease resistance to ***,the Medicago truncatula Iha-1 mutant,comp.omised in triterp.noid sap.nin biosynthesis,showed enhanced ***,the ap.lication of different p.rified triterp.noid sap.nins p.armacologically comp.emented the diseaseresistant p.enotyp. ofp.l and hla-1 mutants and enhanced disease suscep.ibility in different p.ant *** found that triterp.noid sap.nins function as p.ant cues that signal transcrip.ional rep.ogramming in ***,leading to a change in its growth habit and infection strategy,culminating in the abundant formation of infection cushions,the multicellular ap.ressoria ap.aratus dedicated to p.ant p.netration and biomass destruction in *** together,these results p.ovide an exp.anation for how p.ant triterp.noid sap.nins function as disease suscep.ibility factors to p.omote *** p.thogenicity.

Sub-lines are one-dimensional diffraction p.tterns rep.esenting the light beams emerging from horizontal p.anes of an obj.ct image. p.st research has demonstrated that the sub-lines can be encap.ulated as a multi-bank filtering p.ocess, and imp.emented with a field p.ogrammable gate array （Fp.A） device. As the comp.exity of the filters is high, their length and the number of inp.t p.ns have to be reduced substantially, hence leading to degradation on the reconstructed images. We p.op.se an enhanced method to overcome the p.oblem by binarizing the filters＇ coefficients, and half-toning the p.xel intensities of the obj.ct image. Exp.rimental evaluation reveals that our method results in reconstructed images are sup.rior to that obtained with the p.rent method.

Cellular strategies remain a crucial comp.nent in bone tissue engineering （BTE）. So far, the outcome of cell-based strategies from initial clinical trials is far behind comp.red to animal studies, which is suggested to be related to insufficient nutrient and oxygen sup.ly inside the Ussue-engineered constructs. Cocultures, by introducing angiogenic cells into osteogenic cell cultures, might p.ovide a solution for imp.oving vascularization and hence increasing bone formation for cell-based constructs. So far, p.e-clinical studies demonstrated that cocultures enhance vascularization and bone formation comp.red to monocultures. However, there has been no rep.rt on the ap.lication of cocultures in clinics. Therefore, this mini-review aims to p.ovide an overview regarding （i） critical p.rameters in cocultures and the outcomes of cocultures comp.red to monocultures in the currently available p.e-clinical studies using human mesenchymal stem cells imp.anted in orthotop.c animal models; and （ii） the usage of monocultures in clinical ap.lication in BTE.

p.ezo p.oteins are mechanically activated ion channels,which are required for mechanosensing functions in a variety of cell *** we and others have p.eviously demonstrated that the exp.ession of p.ezo1 in osteoblast lineage cells is essential for boneanabolic p.ocesses,there was only suggestive evidence indicating a role of p.ezo1 and/or p.ezo2 in *** we addressed the question if and how chondrocyte exp.ession of the mechanosensitive p.oteins p.ezo1 or p.ezo2 controls p.ysiological endochondral ossification and p.thological osteoarthritis(OA)*** with chondrocyte-sp.cific inactivation of p.ezo1(p.ezo1^(Col2a1Cre)),but not of p.ezo2,develop.d a near absence of trabecular bone below the chondrogenic growth p.ate ***,all p.ezo1^(Col2a1Cre) animals disp.ayed multip.e fractures of rib bones at 7 days of age,which were located close to the growth *** skeletal growth was only mildly affected in these mice,OA p.thologies were markedly less p.onounced comp.red to littermate controls at 60 weeks of ***,when OA was induced by anterior cruciate ligament transection,only the chondrocyte inactivation of p.ezo1,not of p.ezo2,resulted in attenuated articular cartilage ***,osteop.yte formation and maturation were also reduced in p.ezo1^(Col2a1Cre) *** further observed increased p.ezo1 p.otein abundance in cartilaginous zones of human ***,we identified p.gs2 and Ccn2 as p.tentially relevant p.ezo1 downstream genes in ***,our data do not only demonstrate that p.ezo1 is a critical regulator of p.ysiological and p.thological endochondral ossification p.ocesses,but also suggest that p.ezo1 antagonists may be established as a novel ap.roach to limit osteop.yte formation in OA.

Conversion of Fischer-Trop.ch wax into high quality synthetic crude or finished transp.rtation fuels such as p.emium diesel has been studied over the p.st 15 years within Bp. Catalyst screening and selection was carried out in dedicated micro-reactors and p.lot p.ants, whose designs are critical to the p.rformance selection. Variation in catalyst comp.sition and defining the gas to oil feed ratios with the op.rating temp.rature are a few of the p.rameters studied. p.oduct selection and maximizing diesel yield combined with stability （catalyst life） were the ultimate drivers. The selected catalyst was then tested under commercial conditions in a dedicated 300 barrel p.r day demonstration p.ant. The p.oducts were also tested in engines to assess their combustion characteristics.
