We present new U–Pb zircon and monazite ages from the Sunsas belt granitic magmatism in Bolivia, SW Amazonian Craton. The geochronological results revealed four major magmatic events recorded along the Sunsas belt domains. The older igneous event formed a granitic basement coeval to the Rio Apa Terrane(1.95–1.85 Ga) in the southern domain. The second magmatic episode is represented by 1.68 Ga granites associated to the Paraguá Terrane(1.69–1.66 Ga) in the northern domain. The 1.37–1.34 Ga granites related to San Ignacio orogeny represent the third and more pervasive magmatic event, recorded throughout the Sunsas belt. Moreover, magmatic ages of ~1.42 Ga revealed that the granitogenesis associated to the Santa Helena orogeny also affected the Sunsas belt, indicating that it was not restricted to the Jauru Terrane. Lastly, the 1.10–1.04 Ga youngest magmatism was developed during the Sunsas orogeny and represents the final magmatic evolution related to Rodinia assembly. Likewise, the 1.95–1.85 and 1.68 Ga inherited zircon cores obtained in the ~1.3 Ga and 1.0 Ga granite samples suggest strong partial melting of the Paleoproterozoic sources. The 1079 ± 14 Ma and 1018 ± 6 Ma monazite crystallization ages can be correlated to the collisional tectono-thermal event of the Sunsas orogeny, associated to reactions of medium-to high-grade metamorphism. Thus, the Sunsas belt was built by heterogeneous 1.95–1.85 Ga and 1.68 Ga crustal fragments that were reworked at 1.37–1.34 Ga and 1.10–1.04 Ga related to orogenic collages. Furthermore, the 1.01 Ga monazite age suggests that granites previously dated by zircon can bear evidence of a younger thermal history. Therefore, the geochronological evolution of the Sunsas belt may have been more complex than previously thought.

As part of an ongoing inventory of the helminth parasites of freshwater fishes in Mexico, 570 individual fish were collected between Apr 2008 and Oct 2011 in 26 localities along the Cuatro Ciénegas region in Coahuila State, northern Mexico. Seventeen species of hosts, mostly corresponding to Nearctic freshwater elements, were studied. A total of 8324 individual worms were collected during this survey, representing 25 species of helminths, of which 9 were digeneans, 3 monogeneans, 3 acanthocephalans, 9 nematodes and 1 cestode. Most of the records in this checklist represent new host or locality records. The information provided in this checklist may be helpful for our understanding of the biodiversity and historical biogeography of this host-parasite system, because in the Cuatro Ciénegas region occur a Nearctic freshwater fish fauna, along with Neotropical and endemic elements, and from a biogeographical point of view, this may represent a transitional area.

We analyzed the distributional patterns of95 selected species of leptosporangiate ferns inhabiting the Mexican Mountain Component, using grid-cells of one geographical degree as unit areas,applying endemism indices and richness and beta diversity *** data were obtained from several herbaria and specialized *** grid-cells appear to be important for fern species richness, as they contain 35 to 49 *** gridcells are located in the Sierra Madre Oriental(SMO),Trans-Mexican Volcanic Belt(TMVB) and the Sierra Madre del Sur(SMS).Mean richness by latitudinal belts of one degree showed that the belts with highest values are related to the TMVB and SMS.A total of 13grid-cells were recognized as important from theperspective of endemism; most of them are located also in the SMO, TMVB and *** richest gridcells coincided with one of the main centres of endemism for ferns obtained in this study, located in the convergence of the southern part of the SMO, the eastern portion of the TMVB and the northern part of the SMS, reflecting the high humidity existing on the mountain slopes facing the Gulf of *** important grid-cells recognized from richness and endemism analyses coincide with Mexican Natural Protected *** beta diversity analysis showed a low degree of similarity among grid-cells, implying a high species replacement, as the result of environmental heterogeneity occurring in the Mexican mountain *** the other hand, the spatial analysis suggested a pattern of phytogeographical regionalization comprising twomain areas: the Mexican Transition Zone and the Mexican Central *** play an important role in the Mexican biodiversity and contributing to the beta diversity of Mexico.

The Yelapa-Chimo Metamorphic Complex forms part of the Jalisco Block in western Mexico and exposes a wide range of Early Cretaceous metamorphic rocks;such as paragneiss,orthogneiss,amphibolites,and ***,the pressure-temperature(P-T)conditions of metamorphism and partial melting remain poorly studied in the *** elucidate metamorphic P-T conditions,phase equilibrium modelling was applied to two sillimanite-garnet paragneisses,one amphibole-orthogneiss,and one ***-garnet paragneisses exhibit a lepidoblastic texture with a biotite+sillimanite+kyanite+garnet+quartz+plagioclase+K-feldspar mineral ***-orthogneiss and amphibolite display a nematoblastic texture with an amphibole+(1)plagioclase+quartz+(1)titanite assemblage and an amphibole+(2)plagioclase+(2)titanite+ilmenite retrograde mineral *** calculated for the two sillimanite-garnet paragneiss samples show P-T peak conditions at~6-7.5 kbar and~725-740℃.The results for amphibole-orthogneiss and the amphibolite yield P-T peak conditions at~8.5-10 kbar and~690-710℃.The mode models imply that metasedimentary and metaigneous units can produce up to~20 vol%and~10 vol%of melt,*** within a closed system during isobaric heating suggests that melt compositions of metasedimentary and metaigneous units are likely to have direct implications for the petrogenesis of the Puerto Vallarta *** new data indicate that the Yelapa-Chimo Metamorphic Complex evolved through a metamorphic gradient between~23-33℃km^-1and the metamorphic rocks formed at depths between~22 km and~30 km with a burial rate of~2.0 km Ma^-***,the P-T data for both metasedimentary and metaigneous rocks provide new constraints on an accretionary framework,which is responsible for generating metamorphism and partial melting in the YelapaChimo Metamorphic Complex during the Early Cretaceous.

Metastatic gastric cancer remains an incurable disease,with a relative 5-year survival rate of 7%-27%.Chemotherapy,which improves overall survival(OS) and quality of life,is the main treatment *** has demonstrated that the best survival results obtained in earlier randomized studies were achieved with three-drug regimens containing a fluoropyrimidine,an anthracycline,and cisplatin(ECF).Although there has been little progress in improving median OS times beyond the 9-mo plateau achievable with the standard regimens,the availability of newer agents has provided some measure of optimism.A number of new combinations incorporating docetaxel,oxaliplatin,capecitabine,and S-1 have been explored in randomized *** combinations,such as epirubicin-oxaliplatin-capecitabine,have been shown to be as effective as(or perhaps more effective than) ECF,and promising early data have been derived for S-1 in combination with *** factor that might contribute to extending median OS is the advancement whenever possible to second-line cytotoxic ***,the biggest hope for signif icant survival advances in the near future would be the combination of new targeted biological agents with existing chemotherapy f irst-line regimens.

The Introduction of Pharmaceutical Care in Psychiatric Outpatients in Community Pharmacy of the Northeast Region of Argentina

The purpose of this paper is to implement a pharmaceutical care program in psychiatric outpatients in a community pharmacy. Outpatients （536） with psychiatric treatment requiring the dispensing of medication prescribed by a psychiatrist were followed up in a community pharmacy, where different medicines were prescribed as PS （pharmaceutical specialties）, PC （pharmaceutical compounding） or both PS and PC. Each prescription was registered with details on a patient level. Also, three reporting sheets were designed： patients profile, patients monitoring and patients counseling. The total study population in the community pharmacy consisted of 536 outpatients： 357 （66.6%） females and 179 （33.4%） males. Most of the outpatients （78.5%） have health insurance, 50% correspond to public and 28.5% to private institution. The other patients （21.5%） do not have medical insurance. We also observed that the education level of these patients was： primary school 19.1%; high school 45.9%; college 15.3% and university 20.7%. Many patients had more than one psychiatric diagnosis, to whom were prescribed different medicines. All the medication studies on the charts were screened for prescriptions with antidepressants and other psychotropic drugs, starting on the date of first diagnosis made by a psychiatrist. The counseling to the patients was also registered. The possibility of the follow-up of these outpatients in the community pharmacy promoted the development of the psychiatric pharmacy and all advances in care for patients with mental health needs, working in closer collaboration with psychiatrists.

On Lewis Fry Richardson＇s Theory of＂War Moods＂： A Reconsideration

Of the 16 international relations texts currently in print, the name of Lewis Fry Richardson does not appear in either the indices or the selected bibliography at the end of each chapter （though there might be one or two exceptions）. This is a curious omission. For Richardson, an English Quaker and meteorologists did important pioneering studies of conflict in general and the theory of arms races in particular. The aim of this paper is to examine Richardson＇s claim that he has uncovered a cycle in which both latent and manifest attitudes are exhibited by the general populace toward international conflict, Specifically, if this so-called cycle in-fact occurs, then this may provide evidence in establishing a relation between public opinion and foreign policy goals and objectives. This view is implicit in Richardson＇s theory of ＂War Moods＂, and some critics are quick to point out that this claim ＂is more difficult to generalize about＂. This is because the attempt at generalization is a hallmark of scientific theorizing （an inquiry which Richardson was not unfamiliar）. Pari-passu, it would be illuminating to uncover whether a relation of the sort adumbrated in his theory is purported to exist.

The development of spaceborne Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR)technology declares that the golden era of SAR remote sensing in archeology is approaching;however,nowadays its methodology framework is still lacking due to the inadequate case studies validated by *** this study,we investigated the crop marks using multi-temporal Cosmo-SkyMed data acquired in 2013 by applying a twostep decision-tree classifier in conjunction with a spatial analysis in an area of archeological interest nearby the archeological site of Han-Wei capital city(1900–1500 BP),in Luoyang,*** time-series backscattering anomalies related to the wheat growth cycle were identified and then further validated in two zones by geophysical investigations(Ground Penetration Radar and electrical measurements)and in a third zone by archeological excavations made after the SAR data *** study provides a new approach for the relic detection,shallowly buried and covered by the crop vegetation,by temporal crop marks on spaceborne SAR *** also emphasize the necessity to establish a satellite-to-ground methodology framework for the promotion of remote-sensing technology in archeology.
