Restriction enzyme digestion of total genomic dNA of two chro-mosome type Paragonimus westermani showed the presence of homologus highlyrepeated dNA in diploid and triploid forms. Southern blot analysis providedfurther evidence that the distribution of restriction enzyme sites (with 3enzymes) on repeated dNA of both was similar. But with Pst Ⅰ、dde Ⅰ、Hae Ⅲand Hpa Ⅱ. They revealed polymorphism which also occured individually ineach form tested separatedly with hybridization technique. Mutation of recog-nize sites by enzymes, which is resulted from the alternation of gene sequance,has occured during evolution. Additionally, it is probably possible, based on PstⅠand dde Ⅰdigest pattern to distinguish between diploid and triploid Parag-onimus westermani and group the Paragonimus simply and rapidly.

Coronavirus disease 2019(COVId-19)has significantly affected different physiological systems,with a potentially profound effect on athletic ***,to date,such an effect has been neither addressed nor ***,the aim of this study was to investigate fitness indicators,along with the respiratory and metabolic profile,in post-COVId-19 *** male soccer players,were divided into two groups:non-hospitalized COVId-19(n=20,Age:[25.2±4.1]years,Body Surface Area[BSA]:[1.9±0.2]m^(2),body fat:11.8%±3.4%)versus[vs]healthy(n=20,Age:[25.1±4.4]years,BSA:[2.0±0.3]m^(2),body fat:10.8%±4.5%).For each athlete,prior to cardiopulmonary exercise testing(CPET),body composition,spirometry,and lactate blood levels,were *** between groups were assessed with the independent samples t-test(pdifferences were detected between the two groups:ventilation(:Resting:[14.7±3.1]L·min^(−1)vs.[11.5±2.6]L·min^(−1),p=0.001;Maximal Effort:[137.1±15.5]L·min^(−1)vs.[109.1±18.4]L·min^(−1),pd lactate acid(Resting:[1.8±0.8]mmol·L^(−1)vs.[0.9±0.1]mmol·L^(−1),pduring *** significant differences were identified regarding maximal oxygen uptake([55.7±4.4]ml·min^(−1)·kg−1 vs.[55.4±4.6]ml·min^(−1)·kg−1,p=0.831).Our findings demonstrate a pattern of compromised respiratory function in post-COVId-19 athletes characterized by increased respiratory work at both rest and maximum effort as well as hyperventilation during exercise,which may explain the reported increased metabolic needs.

The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the accuracy of using computational fluid dynamics （CFd） turbulence models to predict entropy generation rates in bypass transitional boundary layers flows under zero and adverse pressure gradients. Entropy generation rates in such flows are evaluated employing the commercial CFd software, ANSYS FLUENT. Various turbulence and transitional models are assessed by comparing their results with the direct numerical simulation （dNS） data and two recent CFd studies. A solution verification study is conducted on three systematically refined meshes. The factor of safety method is used to estimate the numerical error and grid uncertainties. Monotonic convergence is achieved for all simulations. The Reynolds number based on momentum thickness, Reo, skin-friction coefficient, Cf, approximate entropy generation rates, S, dissipation coefficient, Cd , and the intermittency, y, are calculated for bypass transition simulations. All Reynolds averaged Navier-Stokes （RANS） turbulence and transitional models show improvement over previous CFd results in predicting onset of transition. The transition SST k - ω 4 equation model shows closest agreement with dNS data for all flow conditions in this study due to a much finer grid and more accurate inlet boundary conditions. The other RANS models predict an early onset of transition and higher boundary layer entropy generation rates than the dNS shows.

In this article, we have reviewed available evidence for diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up in female breast cancer(BC). Into daily clinical practice some controversies are occurred. Especially, in the diagnosis field, despite the fact that the optimal age in which screening mammography should start is a subject of intense controversy, there is a shift toward the beginning at the age of 40 although it is suggested that the net benefit is small for women aged 40 to 49 years. In addition, a promising tool in BC screening seems to be breast tomosynthesis. Other tools such as 3d ultrasound and shear wave elastography(SWE) are full of optimism in BC screening although ultrasonography is not yet a first-line screening method and there is insufficient evidence to recommend the systemic use of the SWE for BC screening. As for breast magnetic resonance imaging(MRI), even if it is useful in BC detection in women who have a strong family history of BC, it is not generally recommended as a screening tool. Moreover, based on the lack of randomized clinical trials showing a benefit of presurgical breast MRI in overall survival, it's integration into breast surgical operations remainsdebatable. Interestingly, in contrast to fine needle aspiration, core biopsy has gained popularity in presurgical diagnosis. Furthermore, after conservative surgery in patients with positive sentinel lymph nodes, the recent tendency is the shift from axillary dissection to axillary conserving strategies. While the accuracy of sentinel lymph node after neoadjuvant chemotherapy and second BC surgery remains controversial, more time is needed for evaluation and for determining the optimal interval between the two surgeries. Additionally, in the decision between immediate or delayed breast reconstruction, there is a tendency in the immediate use. AIM: To investigate the signifi cance of ileocolonoscopy with histology in the evaluation of post-transplantation persistent diarrhea (Pd). METHOdS: We retrospectively reviewed all records of renal transplant patients with Pd, over a 3-year period. All patients were referred for ileocolonoscopy with biopsy, following a negative initial diagnostic work up. Clinical and epidemiological data were compared between cases with infectious or drug-induced diarrhea. RESULTS: We identif ied 30 episodes of Pd in 23 renaltransplant patients (1-3 cases per patient). There were 16 male patients and the mean age at the time of Pd was 51.4 years. The average time from transplantation to a Pd episode was 62.3 ± 53.2 mo (range 1-199 mo). Ileocolonoscopy detected mucosal abnormalities in 19 cases, whereas the intestinal mucosa appeared normal in 11 cases. Histological examination achieved a specific diagnosis in 19/30 cases (63.3%). In nine out of 11 cases (82%) with normal endoscopic appearance of the mucosa, histological examination of blinded biopsies provided a specif ic diagnosis. The etiology of Pd was infectious in 11 cases (36.6%), drug-related in 10 (33.3%), of other causes in three (10%), and of unknown origin in six cases (20%). Infectious diarrhea occurred in significantly longer intervals from transplantation compared to drug-related Pd (85.5 ± 47.6 mo vs 40.5 ± 44.8 mo, P dingly, Pd due to drug-toxicity was rarely seen after the f irst year post-transplantation. Clinical improvement followed therapeutic intervention in 90% of cases. Modif ication of immunosuppressive regimen was avoided in 57% of patients. CONCLUSION: Early ileocolonoscopy with biopsies from both affected and normal mucosa is an important adjunctive tool for the etiological diagnosis of Pd in renal transplant patients.

AIM:To evaluate the frequency of bacterial flora of conjunctiva after death(cadaver eyes) which will give information about the bacterial contamination of donor eyes,and the in-vitro sensitivity of isolated bacteria to the commonly used antibiotics in ophthalmic ***:Conjunctival swabs were taken from the cadavers(motor vehicle accident deaths and patients who died in the hospital),within 6h after death,and sent for culture and sensitivity *** swabs,taken from the healthy conjunctiva of patients admitted for cataract surgery,were sent for culture and sensitivity as controls(eyes in those of living status).The bacterial isolates were tested against the commonly used antibiotics(chloramphenicol,gentamicin,ciprofloxacin) in ophthalmology ***:Bacteria were isolated in 41 out of 100 conjunctival swabs(41%),taken from 50 cadavers(study group).Coagulase negative staphylococcus was the most common bacteria isolated(15%),followed by pseudomonas aeruginosa(5%).Gentamicin was effective against majority of the bacterial isolates(82%).Bacteria were isolated from 7 out of 100 conjunctival swabs taken as control group(eyes in living state).Coagulase negative staphylococcus was the most common organism(5%) isolated in control group;the others were staphylococcus aureus(1%) and beta hemolyticus streptococci(1%).CONCLUSION:Bacteria were isolated from 41% of the cadaver *** percentage sensitivity of the bacterial isolates to gentamicin(82%) supports the practice of thorough irrigation of the eyes with gentamicin solution before starting the procedure of enucleation followed by immersion of the enucleated eyeballs in gentamycin solution,to prevent the bacterial contamination.

Therapeutic colonoscopy with electrocautery is widely used around the world. Adequate colonic cleansing is considered a crucial factor for the safety of this procedure. Colonic gas explosion, although rare, is one of the most frightening iatrogenic complications during colonoscopy with electrocautery. This complication is the result of an accumulation of colonic gases to explosive concentrations, but may be prevented by meticulous bowel preparation. The purpose *** review is to discuss the indications and the types of bowel preparations for therapeutic colonoscopy, and to contribute recommendations for the adequate bowel preparation for colonoscopy with electrocautery.

This paper presents a preliminary study on the dielectric properties and curing of three different types of epoxy resins mixed at various stoichiometric mixture of hardener, flydust and aluminium powder under microwave energy. In this work, the curing process of thin layers of epoxy resins using microwave radiation was investigated as an alternative technique that can' be implemented to develop a new rapid product development technique. In this study it was observed that the curing time and temperature were a function of the percentage of hardener and fillers presence in the epoxy resins. Initially dielectric properties of epoxy resins with hardener were measured which was directly correlated to the curing process in order to understand the properties of cured specimen. Tensile tests were conducted on the three different types of epoxy resins with hardener and fillers. Modifying dielectric properties of the mixtures a significant decrease in curing time was observed. In order to study the microstructural changes of cured specimen the morphology of the fracture surface was carried out by using scanning electron microscopy.
