Evaluation of Antinociceptive Activity of Methanol Extract from Cleome rutidosperma in Mice

Objective C/eome rutidosperma （Capparidaceae）, commonly known as ＂Fringed Spider Flower＂, is a medicinal plant found in Southeast Asia. C. rutidosperma is used in folk medicine for diuretic, laxative, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, antimicrobial, anti-oxidant, hypoglycemic, and anthelmintic activities. We have evaluated the anti-nociceptive properties of methanol extract from C. rutidosperma （MECR） in vivo. Methods Thermal method （hot plate test and tail flick test） was induced to judge the anti-inflammatory effect and couple of chemical method also used （formalin induced licking test; writhing test carried by acetic acid） to evaluate analgesic effect. Both of these tests were made over animal models, like mice and rats. Two different doses （1 O0 and 200 mg/kg） were used for each case of test, while morphine sulphate （5mg/kg, ip） was used as reference drug. Results MECR demonstrated the significantly anti-nociceptive activity in the analgesic and anti-inflammatory tests by reducing nociception in mice models （P 〈 0.001）. in the hot-plate and tail-flick tests, MECR significantly elongated the time to response to the thermal stimuli （100 and 200 mg/kg with P 〈 0.05, 0.001）. The remarkable increase in the latency was observed at 90 and 120 min. In acetic acid-induced writhing test and formalin induced licking test for anti-inflammatory activity, MECR at 100 and 200 mg/kg doses exhibited significant （P〈 0.001） reduction of writhing and licking response. Conclusion The anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of C. rutidosperma propose that this effect may be a result of both peripheral and central mechanisms. Further study is required to ensure the proper mechanism of action as well as the active ingredient.

Bangladesh is a riparian country that is criss-crossed by the many tributaries and distributaries of the mighty Ganges,Brahmaputra,and Meghna river ***-Madhumati,a distributary of the Ganges River is an example where morphological development of the river is associated with frequent channel shifting within the catchment *** main objective of this research is to quantify the extent of channel migration,erosion-accretion,river width,sinuosity,and charland morpho-dynamics from 1972 to 2018 using geospatial techniques combined with satellite images and hydrological *** study also addressed the impacts of Farakka Barrage construction in India on the shifting,flow behavior,and siltation of Gorai-Madhumati *** study shows that bar surface areas have abnormally increased in both segments after 1975 due to the construction of Farakka *** flow in the Gorai-Madhumati has dropped remarkably in the downstream and instigated huge sedimentation in this *** of the time series satellite images revealed that the morphology of the river channel experienced huge changes simultaneously with the changes in the seasonal flow and sedimentation all over the study *** trend has frequently shifted and taken place in the NW and NE direction in the observed sections of the *** the study period,total amount of accretion was greater than the net percentage of erosion on both banks of the *** discharge,bar accretion,and erosion history show that the Gorai-Madhumati River will no longer exist with the present flowing condition without attention and proper river management.

Mechanism of antagonistic effects of Andrographis paniculata methanolic extract against Staphylococcus aureus

Objective: To investigate the effects of Andrographis paniculata(Burm.f.) Wall. Ex Nees(A. paniculata) on expressions and activities of catalase, superoxide dismutase and alkylhydroperoxide reductase C in Staphylococcus aureus(S. aureus) with respect to its survival in vitro. Methods: Antioxidative property of methanolic leaves extract of A. paniculata(0.06 mg/m L). Minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC) was determined by its ability to reduce hydrogen peroxide(H_2O_2) toxicity against S. aureus ATCC 25923(3.8×10~8 cfu/m L). Effects of the extract on expressions of kat A(encoding catalase), sod A and sod M [encoding superoxide dismutases(SODs)], and ahp C [encoding alkylhydroperoxide reductase C(AhpC)] in S. aureuswere determined by RT-q PCR and corresponding enzyme activity assays were performed. Nitroblue tetrazolium reduction(NBT) assay was performed to determine effects of the extract on intracellular and extracellular levels of O_2-in S. aureus. Results: Cells challenged with 7.5 mmol/L H_2O_2 showed 0% survival in 30 min whereas 25% survived after treatment with the extract and H_2O_2. Cells that were treated with the extract alone had 43% survival in the same exposure period. Expressions of sod A and sod M genes in extract-treated cells were lowered 0.8-fold and 0.7-fold, respectively with decrease in total SOD activity of 26.8 U compared to untreated cells, 32.4 U(P<0.05). In contrast, extract-treated S. aureus cells showed 3.3-fold increase in kat A expression with corresponding increase in catalase activity of 1.828 U compared to untreated cells which was 1.248 U,(P<0.05). More profoundly, ahp C expression was increased 61-fold in extract-treated cells,(P<0.05) with corresponding increase in Ahp C activity of 0.018 U compared to untreated cells, 0.012U,(P<0.05). Extract-treated cells had significantly lower intra-and extracellular O_2-levels with absorbance readings(A_(575nm)) of 0.340 and 0.524 compared to untreated cells which were 0.516 and 0.928(P<0.05)

Solving Smooth Generalized Equations Using Modified Gauss-Type Proximal Point Method

Consider X and Y are two real or complex Banach spaces. We introduce and study a modified Gauss-type proximal point algorithm (in short modified G-PPA) for solving the generalized equations of the form 0 ∈h(x) + H(x), where h : X → Y is a smooth function on Ω ⊆X and H : X ⇉2Y is a set valued mapping with closed graph. When H is metrically regular and under some sufficient conditions, we analyze both semi-local and local convergence of the modified G-PPA. Moreover, the convergence results of the modified G-PPA are justified by presenting a numerical example.

This paper deals with the irregular profile of braced steel frame building in vertical direction with shear link bracing *** underlying fact of the paper is the effect of seismic force in braced frames with different types of irregularities including mass irregularity,mass discontinuity and overhanging *** each successive model,the position of shear link bracings has been fixed to make the study *** study has investigated the vulnerable effect of irregular profiles in steel frame *** attain the behavior of each frame,linear time history analysis method has been adopted for the present ***356 standard has been used here for linear time history *** on different frames exhibit that regular profile with symmetry in mass is more efficient while using overhanging mass is detrimental considering the time dependent displacements and accelerations.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers immediate insights to penetrate the overwhelming volume of everyday security warnings. The current body of research mostly examines the use of AI in the field of cyber security, but it does not adequately address the visual inspection of AI applications. The advent of AI has led to noticeable structural changes in the field of cyber security. This study facilitates the advancement of theory about artificial intelligence (AI) across several fields. It assists researchers in determining research paths and serves as a resource for corporations and governments to strategize the use of AI in areas such as cyber security, education, healthcare, and work-life balance. Numerous nations, organizations, and writers are intricately linked via cooperation and citation networks. Artificial intelligence is an academic discipline focused on the research and advancement of computer systems, robots, and other creations that possess human-like intelligence, which is defined by cognitive powers, learning capabilities, and adaptability. This research aimed to evaluate the present trajectory and influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on education, healthcare, cybersecurity, and work-life balance. Based on an initial examination, this research focused on evaluating the use and impact of AI in many domains, using a specific narrative and framework. The findings of this study will enable researchers to comprehend the prevailing pattern and the influence of people on the integration of AI into daily life.

Tinospora cordifolia (Wild) Hook, local name: Guduchi/Amrita;English: Indian Tinospora, Hindi: Giloya/Gulancha, belongs to the family of Menispermaceae and is found in abundance in Bangladesh, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and China, the plant is a spreading and mounting shrub with a lot twisting branches. T. cordifolia is used in Ayurveda medicinal system and has numerous therapeutic properties. This article summarizes the chemical constituents and pharmacological properties found within the plant. The review will provide a scientific basis of its use in Ayurveda and is an informative database on an ethno-pharmacologically important medicinal plant for future researchers.

Health Behaviors and Outcomes of Mobile Health Apps and Patient Engagement in the USA

Mobile health applications, or mHealth apps, have gained popularity due to their practical functions and strengthening the connection between patients and healthcare professionals. These apps are designed for managing health and well-being on portable devices, allowing individuals to self-manage their health or healthcare practitioners to enhance patient care. Key features include personalized recommendations, data synchronization with other health devices, and connectivity with healthcare professionals. The research describes how mobile health applications support healthy behaviors, facilitate communication between patients and physicians, and empower individuals in the United States to take charge of their health. This study also examines how adults in the US use mobile health applications, or mHealth apps, on their tablets or smartphones for health-seeking purposes. The information was taken from Cycle 4 of the Health Information National Trends Survey (HINTS 4). The challenges regarding these mobile health apps have also been evaluated with possible remedies. Around 100 university students participated in a cross-sectional study by answering questions on their eating habits, physical activity, lifestyle choices related to health, and use of mobile health apps. The data was then analyzed and concluded as a result. Mobile health applications have brought about a significant shift in the way patients connect with their healthcare providers by providing them with convenient access to health services and information. By keeping track of health markers like diet, exercise, and medication compliance, patients may use these tools to help better manage their chronic conditions. Mobile health applications can improve patient outcomes and save healthcare costs by empowering patients to take charge of their health. Antidiabetic and antioxidant activities of methanol extract of Syzygium operculatum(Roxb.)***

Objective:To evaluate the antidiabetic and antioxidant effects of the methanol extract of Syzygium operculatum bark(MSOB)using in vivo and in vitro ***:Antidiabetic activity was assessed by using alloxan induced(120 mg/kg body weight)diabetic *** plant extract(200 mg/kg and 400 mg/kg body weight)was administrated *** diabetic mice in comparison with standard metformin hydrochloride(150 mg/kg body weight).The antioxidant activity of the extract was evaluated by using a range of in vitro assays and results were compared to ***:The extract MSOB 200 mg/kg and 400 mg/kg reduced the blood glucose level 44.05%and 55.53%respectively where the standard drug metformin reduced 69.42%in dose of 150 mg/kg body *** extract MSOB showed significant 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl scavenging activity,total phenol content,total flavonoid content and reducing power capacity compared to *** IC_(50)values were found 300.34μg/mL in 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging assay where 40.31μg/mL for ascorbic *** total phenol and flavonoid contents were 197.5 and 267.5 mg of gallic acid equivalent per gram,***:The present study indicates that the extract of Syzygium operculatum bark is the potential sources of natural antioxidant and possesses significant antidiabetic activities.

Geochemistry of Neogene Mudrocks from Sitakund Anticline, Bengal Basin: Implications for Provenance, Weathering, Tectonic Setting and Depositional Environment

Geochemical analysis of Neogene mudrocks from Sitakund anticline, Chittagong Tripura Fold Belt (CTFB), Bengal Basin, Bangladesh, was deployed to delineate the provenance, tectonics and depositional environments. Representative samples went through mineralogical and geochemical analysis concerning major, trace and rare earth element analysis. Rigaku ZSX Primus and NITON XL3t 800 XRF instruments were utilized for the determination of major and trace elements. The experiment results reveal that the Neogene mudrocks are rich in silica having concentration of 58.10% to 62.60% with an average of 59.90%. Therefore, the geochemical response from the experiments apparently proved the existence of the active continental margin setting for the Neogene mudrocks. Different concentrations and ratios of major oxides satisfy that the mudrocks were derived from felsic source rocks. In addition, chemical index of alteration (CIA) values for the Neogene mudrocks vary from 67.81 to 77.57 with an average 74.41 indicating significant weathering at the source areas. Moreover, U/Th, Cu/Zn, Ni/Co and V/Cr ratios designate that the mudrocks were deposited in oxidizing depositional environment.
