Purpose–Test suite prioritization technique is the process of modifying the order in which tests run to meet certain *** fault detection and maximum coverage of source code are the main objectives of *** are several test suite prioritization approaches that have been proposed at the maintenance phase of software development life cycle.A few works are done on prioritizing test suites that satisfy modified condition decision coverage(MC/DC)criteria which are derived for safety-critical *** authors know that it is mandatory to do MC/DC testing for Level A type software according to RTCA/DO178C *** paper aims to discuss this ***/methodology/approach–This paper provides a novel method to prioritize the test suites for a system that includes MC/DC criteria along with other important criteria that ensure adequate ***–In this approach,the authors generate test suites from the input Java program using concolic *** test suites are utilized to measure MC/DC%by using the coverage calculator ***,use MC/DC%and the execution time of these test suites in the basic particle swarm optimization technique with a modified objective function to prioritize the generated test ***/value–The proposed approach maximizes MC/DC%and minimizes the execution time of the test *** effectiveness of this approach is validated by experiments on 20 moderate-sized Java programs using average percentage of fault detected metric.

The introgression of wild chromosomal segments into popular rice varieties is one of the potential approaches for developing varieties for drought stress condition. Sixteen genotypes, including nine indica, two tropical japonica and five chromosome segments substitution lines (CSSLs) with different levels of tolerance/susceptibility to drought stress, were selected for diversity study. Sixty-three microsatellite markers were utilized for assessing genetic diversity. A total of 95 alleles were amplified, and out of them, 60 were polymorphic. Six unique alleles, amplified by the microsatellite loci RM276, RM472, RM488, RM537, RM541 and RM28089, were identified in six genotypes, namely FR13A, Brahamanakhi, RUF44, Swarna-sub1, Brahamanakhi and Satyabhama. The highest genetic similarity was found among CSSLs. Polymorphism information content (PIC) value varied from 0 to 1.00 with an average of 0.66 per locus. Twenty-eight microsatellites were found to be polymorphic, which could be used in marker-assisted selection programme. All the sixteen genotypes were grouped into two major clusters at genetic similarity of 0.64. In the cluster I, five CSSLs identified as diverse genotypes had wild ancestor segments responsible for drought tolerance, and hence they could be utilized as potential donors. The popular Indian varieties, Swarna-sub1 and IR64-sub1, could be used as recurrent parents in the future breeding program for developing varieties for abiotic stresses such as submergence and drought.

Eu3＋ doped CaWO4 with tetragonal system were prepared at comparatively low temperature （125 ℃） in ethylene glycol medium. The phosphor was further investigated by X-ray difffactometer （XRD）, photoluminescence spectrophotometer （PL）, Fourier transform infra red （FT-IR） spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy （TEM）. XRD analysis indicated a decrease in the unit cell volume of CaWO4 with increasing Eu3＋ ion concentration. It indicated the homogeneous substitution of Ca2＋ ions in CaWO4 by the Eu3＋ ions. TEM images showed that the particle size ranged from 20 to 200 nm and it could extend the application of the nanoparticles. The photoluminescence study showed that the intensity of electric dipole transition （SD0→TF2） at 614 nm dominated over the magnetic dipole transition （SD0→TFx） at 592 nm. The optimum concentration of Eu3＋ for the highest luminescence was found to be 20 at.%. The as prepared samples were found to be dispersible in water and methanol.

Stalagmite is one kind of secondary carbonates formed in limestone caves(speleothem). After cave water droplets containing Ca2+and HCO3 drip onto floor, carbonate in the water might become supersaturated due to CO2 degassing under certain conditions, resulting in the formation of stalagmite in a process year after year. Stalagmite is one of important geological archives for paleoclimate research. The advantages include wide spatial distribution, suitable for U-Th and U-Pb dating, enriched in climate proxies, continuity, long time span, comparability and lower sampling cost etc. These factors have propelled stalagmite paleoclimate research to the forefront of global paleoclimatology with an irreplaceable role. The stalagmite paleoclimate study started in the western countries, mainly in Europe and America in 1960 s–1970 s, while the relevant research in China was progressively developed in the 1980 s–1990 s after the Reform and Opening up. Although there was a huge gap between the overall research level in China and western countries, a solid research foundation, as well as a number of talent teams were established during the period. In the 21 st century, starting from the publication of stalagmite records from Hulu Cave in Nanjing in 2001, the stalagmite paleoclimate research in China has ushered in a flourishing development and a real leap on the basis of international cooperation, resulting in significant international impacts. The landmark achievements, including establishment of the world’s longest(640000 years) East Asian monsoon stalagmite record, as well as the longest Indian monsoon(280000 years),South American monsoon(250000 years), North American westerly climate(330000 years), Central Asian westerly climate(135000 years), and northwestern China westerly climate(500000 years), have laid a milestone in the paleoclimate study in these climate domains. A study dealing with the marine fungi associated with decaying wood samples in the brackish water mangrove ecosystem and shoreline ecosystem was carried out in south India.A total of 19 marine fungi were isolated from the brackish water mangrove *** included 13 Ascomycetes,one Basidiomycete and five Mitosporic *** terms of percent frequency of occurrence,the most frequent species obtained from the brackishwater were the Lignincola longirostris(16.60%)and Savoryella lignicola(12.09%).Nine species were found *** species were occasionally *** mangrovei,Aniptodera mangrovei and Halosarpheia marina were the rare species *** average number of isolates per wood sample was 1.53.A total of 27 marine fungi including 15 ascomycetes,one basidiomycete and ten mitosporic fungi were recorded from the shoreline *** terms of percent frequency of occurrence,the most frequent species obtained from Kanyakumari were the Arenariomyces trifurcates(13.66%),Corollospora maritima(12.44%),and Cirrenalia pygmea(10.98%).Seven species were found *** species were occasionally *** species were found to be rare in *** average number of isolates per wood sample was 1.21.
