Monolithic catalysts with excellent O_(3)catalytic decomposition performance were prepared by in situ loading of Co-doped KMn_(8)O_(16)on the surface of nickel *** triple-layer structure with Co-doped KMn_(8)O_(16)/Ni6MnO_(8)/Ni foam was grown spontaneously on the surface of nickel foam by tuning the molar ratio of KMnO_(4)to Co(NO_(3))_(2)·6H_(2)O ***,the formed Ni6MnO_(8)structure between KMn_(8)O_(16)and nickel foam during in situ synthesis process effectively protected nickel foam from further etching,which significantly enhanced the reaction stability of *** optimum amount of Co doping in KMn_(8)O_(16)was available when the molar ratio of Mn to Co species in the precursor solution was 2:*** the Mn2Co1 catalyst had abundant oxygen vacancies and excellent hydrophobicity,thus creating outstanding O_(3)decomposition *** O_(3)conversion under dry conditions and relative humidity of 65%,90%over a period of 5 hr was 100%,94%and 80%with the space velocity of 28,000 hr^(−1),*** in situ constructed Co-doped KMn_(8)O_(16)/Ni foam catalyst showed the advantages of low price and gradual applicability of the preparation process,which provided an opportunity for the design of monolithic catalyst for O_(3)catalytic decomposition.

为研究滇池湖相沉积典型冻结泥炭质土力学特性,利用改进的TSZ-2型全自动应变控制仪对滇池湖相沉积的泥炭质土进行不同影响因素下的低温三轴剪切试验,讨论不同温度、围压、含水率下冻结泥炭质土的力学特性,并引入二元介质模型理论对冻土的偏应力-应变关系进行分析。试验结果表明:随着应变的增加,偏应力-应变曲线可以划分为线弹性阶段、弹塑性阶段和基本稳定阶段,体积变形主要表现为体胀形态,冻土的变形特征均可用二元介质模型理论进行解释;在不同影响因素下,冻结泥炭质土峰值强度与围压、含水率呈正相关,与温度呈负相关;在试验条件内,围压对强度的影响先增后减,而含水率对强度表现出较高的敏感性,黏聚力随着温度的降低而增大,内摩擦角在20.56°~24.89°范围内波动。基于二元介质简化模型,构建适合冻结泥炭质土方程,并对结果进行验证,具有较好的适用性。

Enhancing microbial superoxide generation and conversion to hydroxyl radicals for enhanced bioremediation using iron-binding ligands

Harnessing bacteria for superoxide production in bioremediation holds immense promise,yet its practical application is hindered by slow production rates and the relatively weak redox potential of *** study delves into a cost-effective approach to amplify superoxide production using an Arthrobacter strain,a prevalent soil bacterial *** research reveals that introducing a carbon source along with specific iron-binding ligands,including deferoxamine(DFO),diethylenetriamine pentaacetate(DTPA),citrate,and oxalate,robustly augments microbial superoxide ***,our findings suggest that these iron-binding ligands play a pivotal role in converting superoxide into hydroxyl radicals by modulating the electron transfer rate between Fe(Ⅲ)/Fe(Ⅱ)and ***,among the tested ligands,only DTPA emerges as a potent promoter of this conversion process when complexed with Fe(Ⅲ).We identify an optimal Fe(Ⅲ)to DTPA ratio of approximately 1:1 for enhancing hydroxyl radical production within the Arthrobacter *** research underscores the efficacy of simultaneously introducing carbon sources and DTPA in facilitating superoxide production and its subsequent conversion to hydroxyl radicals,significantly elevating bioremediation ***,our study reveals that DTPA augments superoxide production in cultures of diverse soils,with various soil microorganisms beyond Arthrobacter identified as contributors to superoxide *** emphasizes the universal applicability of DTPA across multiple bacterial *** conclusion,our study introduces a promising methodology for enhancing microbial superoxide production and its conversion into hydroxyl *** findings hold substantial implications for the deployment of microbial reactive oxygen species in bioremediation,offering innovative solutions for addressing environmental contamination challenges.

作为世界上海拔最高、面积最大的高原,青藏高原独特的地理和气候条件对生物多样性产生了深远的影响。本文结合青藏高原地质、气候变化的背景综述了高原鸟类物种形成模式和遗传多样性特征。首先,青藏高原的隆升对鸟类产生了显著的隔离效应,推动与周边近缘物种的遗传分化;其次,青藏高原的隆升为鸟类提供了新的栖息地,促进了物种分化;再次,高原与邻近地区鸟类的区系交流,促进了物种的迁入、形成与扩散;最后,更新世冰期循环引起的环境变导致了鸟类的冰后期扩张和第二次接触,对鸟类的遗传分化产生了重要的影响。近期,多组学方法也日益广泛的应用在青藏高原鸟类生态适应演化研究中。未来的研究应更多关注地质、气候等因素在物种分化中的作用机制,加强多组学方法的应用,关注高原物种适应的生态学机制。青藏高原作为生物多样性保护的重要区域,在全球变化背景下,需要采取有效的保护措施以维护其生态系统的稳定性和可持续性。

High quantum yield yellow emission carbon dots for the construction of blue light blocking films

White light illumination is essential in daily life, however, the substantial amount of blue light it contains can damage human eyes. Therefore, it is important to block this high-energy blue light to protect visual health. In this study, yellow-emitting carbon dots(CDs) with a quantum yield exceeding 94% were synthesized using citric acid and urea. These CDs effectively absorb blue light. By incorporating them into polystyrene, multiple films termed CDs-based blue light blocking films(CBFs) were developed, each offering different levels of blue light absorption. These CBFs exhibited excellent transparency and efficient blue light filtering capabilities. This study highlights the potential of high quantum yield CDs, which specifically absorb blue light, as foundational materials for developing light-blocking solutions against highenergy short-wavelength light.

Boosting bidirectional sulfur conversion enabled by introducing boron-doped atoms and phosphorus vacancies in Ni_(2)P for lithium-sulfur batteries

Lithium-sulfur (Li-S) batteries have gained great attention due to the high theoretical energy density and low cost,yet their further commercialization has been obstructed by the notorious shuttle effect and sluggish redox ***,we supply a strategy to optimize the electron structure of Ni_(2)P by concurrently introducing B-doped atoms and P vacancies in Ni_(2)P (Vp-B-Ni_(2)P),thereby enhancing the bidirectional sulfur *** study indicates that the simultaneous introduction of B-doped atoms and P vacancies in Ni_(2)P causes the redistribution of electron around Ni atoms,bringing about the upward shift of d-band center of Ni atoms and effective d-p orbital hybridization between Ni atoms and sulfur species,thus strengthening the chemical anchoring for lithium polysulfides (LiPSs) as well as expediting the bidirectional conversion kinetics of sulfur ***,theoretical calculations reveal that the incorporation of B-doped atoms and P vacancies in Ni_(2)P selectively promotes Li2S dissolution and nucleation ***,the Li-S batteries with Vp-B-Ni_(2)P-separators present outstanding rate ability of 777 m A h g^(-1)at 5 C and high areal capacity of 8.03 mA h cm^(-2)under E/S of 5μL mg^(-1)and sulfur loading of 7.20 mg cm^(-2).This work elucidates that introducing heteroatom and vacancy in metal phosphide collaboratively regulates the electron structure to accelerate bidirectional sulfur conversion.
