Extreme waves,owing to their enormous impact energy,wide range of action,and strong destructive capacity,generate considerable impact forces that lead to the vibration and damage of offshore photovoltaic and other marine *** generated cracks when waves impact photovoltaic panels affect their power generation efficiency and service life,but research on wave-impacted elastic photovoltaic panels is still *** this work,a two-way fluid-solid coupling numerical method was used to predict the hydroelastic response of photovoltaic panels under different wave ***,an analysis of the impact loading on the photovoltaic panel was presented,including the normal impact force and peak pressure under different wave *** hydroelastic response of the photovoltaic panel to impact,in terms of the displacement of the photovoltaic panel and the stress of the solar cells,was subsequently analyzed and ***,the peak stress in the silicon panels was compared with the mechanical strength of the silicon panels,revealing the cracking risk of the PV panels under different sea *** results showed that the impact force was the main cause of cracks in the photovoltaic panels,which can easily result in damage caused by stress concentrations at their corners,where the stress in the silicon panels was the *** peak stress of the photovoltaic panel under the sea state of Grade 6-1 can reach 78.93 MPa,which exceeds the mechanical strength of silicon panels;therefore,there is a larger risk of internal cracking.

Global warming has led to major melting of ice in the polar Arctic,making it possible to open Arctic shipping *** this case,the large number of ice sheets are extremely dangerous for ship navigation,so in this paper,a body floating on water confined between two finite ice sheets is *** linearized potential flow theory is adopted,and water is considered an incompressible ideal fluid with a finite depth of the fluid *** ice sheets are treated as elastic plates,and the problem is solved by matching eigenfunction *** fluid domain is divided into subregions on the basis of the water surface conditions,and the velocity potential of the subdomains is expanded via the separated variable *** utilizing the continuity of pressure and velocity at the interfaces of two neighboring regions,a system of linear equations is established to obtain the unknown coefficients in the expansion,which in turn leads to analytical solutions for different motion modes in different *** effects of different structural drafts,and different lengths of ice sheets on both sides,etc.,on the hydrodynamic characteristics of floats are *** amplitude of motion of the float is explored,as is the wave elevation between the ice sheets and the float.

This paper is concerned with the hydroelastic responses of a mat-like, rectangular very large floating structure(VLFS) edged with a pair of horizontal/inclined perforated anti-motion plates in the context of the direct coupling method. The updated Lagrangian formulae are applied to establish the equilibrium equations of the VLFS and the total potential formula is employed for fluids in the numerical model including the viscous effect of the perforated plates through the Darcy’s law. The hybrid finite element-boundary element(FE-BE) method is implemented to determine the response reduction of VLFS with attached perforated plates under various oblique incident ***, the numerical solutions are validated against a series of experimental tests. The effectiveness of the attached perforated plates in reducing the deflections of the VLFS can be significantly improved by selecting the proper design parameters such as the porous parameter, submergence depth, plate width and inclination angle for the given sea conditions.

The influences of the acoustic impedance and shock strength on the jet formation in shock-heavy gas bubble interaction are numerically studied in this work. The process of a shock interacting with a krypton or a SF6 bubble is studied by the numerical method VAS2D. As a validation, the experiments of a SF6 bubble accelerated by a planar shock were performed. The results indicate that, due to the mismatch of acoustic impedance, the way of jet formation in heavy gas bubble with different species is diversified under the same initial condition. With respect to the same bubble, the manner of jet formation is also distinctly different under different shock strengths. The disparities of the acoustic impedance result in different effects of shock focusing in the bubble, and different behaviors of shock wave inside and outside the bubble. The analyses of the wave pattern and the pressure variation indicate that the jet formation is closely associated with the pressure perturbation. Moreover, the analy- sis of the vorticity deposition, and comparisons of circulation and baroclinic torque show that the baroclinic vorticity also contributes to the jet formation. It is concluded that the pres- sure perturbation and baroclinic vorticity deposition are the two dominant factors for the jet formation in shock-heavy gas bubble interaction.

To study the water absorption of hollow glass microspheres(HGMs)composite epoxy resin solid buoyancy materials in the marine environment and its effect on the mechanical properties,the water absorption was measured by immersing the material in distilled water for 36 days at ambient temperature and fitted to Fick’s second *** strength of materials before and after water absorption were tested by uniaxial experiments,and the effects of the filling ratio and water absorption on the mechanical properties of the materials were analyzed and ***,the failure modes and mechanism of the hollow glass microspheres composite material were explicated from the microscopic level by scanning electron microscope(SEM).This research will help solve the problems of solid buoyancy materials in ocean engineering applications.

Anti-Mullerian hormone （amh） is one of the earliest functional genes expressed during testicular differentiation. It has been suggested that androgen signaling regulates critical genes for the differentiation and development of the testis. To elucidate the exact regulatory mechanisms involved in arnh transcription mediated by androgen signaling, androgen signaling was manipulated in zebrafish by cytochrome P450 17al （cyplTal） knockout and Flutamide treatment. In cyp17a1-deficient and Flutamide-treated testes, up-regulated sry-box9a （soxga） and down-regulated amh were observed. Moreover, a physical association of the zebrafish androgen receptor （AR） and SOX9A was found. The interaction between AR and SOX9A was mediated via the DNA binding domain （DBD） of AR and the transactivation domain （TA） of SOX9A, and was further enhanced by 5-alpha dihydrotestosterone （DHT）, one of the most potent androgens. Intriguingly, together with SOX9A, androgen signaling synergistically promoted amh transcription, mainly through the proximal 1 kb of the amh promoter region. Taken together, our data demonstrate a critical mechanism underlying the direct synergy of androgen signaling and SOX9A in the regulation of amh transcription.

Hyperglycemia in type 2 diabetes results from an inability of insulin to regulate *** characterize the role of the insulin/insulin receptor pathway in glycometabolism and type 2 diabetes,we created a zebrafish model in which insulin receptors a and b(insra and insrb) have been *** first observed that insra and insrb were both expressed abundantly during embryonic development and in various adult *** expression of insulin and number of b-cells were observed in insra-/-/-insrb-/-fish together with higher glucose in insra-/-,insrb-/-,or insra-/-/-insrb-/-fish,indicating that insra and insrb were knocked out ***,compared to the wild-type fish,insra-/-/-insrb-/-fish died between 5 and 16 days post-fertilization(dpf) with severe pericardial edema and increased level of cell apoptosis,which was not induced by increased total body glucose *** gluconeogenesis and decreased glycolysis were also observed in both single and double knockout fish,but no mortality or malformation was observed in single knockout *** the importance of insulin receptors in glucose homeostasis and embryonic development,transcriptome analysis was used to provide an important model of defective insulin signaling and to study its developmental consequences in *** results indicated that both insra and insrb played a pivotal role in glucose metabolism and embryonic development,and insra was more critical than insrb in the insulin signaling pathway.
