Coastal upwelling is significant for marine ecosystems by lifting nutrient-rich deep waters into the euphotic zone,thereby increasing primary and secondary *** satellite observations show that the northern Arafura Sea(NAS),especially in the coastal region,features high chlorophyll-a(chl-a)concentrations,implying a strong coastal ***,coastal upwelling in the NAS has not received much *** on a semi-automatic image processing technology,the seasonal and interannual variability of coastal upwelling in the NAS are investigated in this study using satellite-observed sea surface temperature(SST)and wind *** results suggest that there are seasonal coastal upwelling events in the NAS modulated by upwelling-favorable southeast monsoon(SEM).The annual mean days,mean area,and annual mean intensity of coastal upwelling events during the SEM season are 92 days,6514 km^(2),and-5.31×10^(5),respectively,while the corresponding values during the northwest monsoon(NWM)season are 32 days,5569 km^(2),and-1.41×10^(5).It is also found that the SEM coastal upwelling in the NAS displays prominent interannual *** strong upwelling events are found in 2010,2013,2016,and 2017 when the southeast monsoon winds were *** analysis suggests that at the interannual scale,the upwelling index(UI)averaged in the SEM season is negatively correlated with that of three upwelling *** can be attributed to the limitation of onshore geostrophic flow which is evidenced by the negative correlation between the UI and the alongshore difference in sea surface *** study highlights the important role of the southeast monsoon in the temporal variability of coastal upwelling in the NAS.

BACKgROUND Few studies have reported an association between an increased risk of acquiring cancers and survival in patients with 4q deletion *** study presents a rare association between chromosome 4q abnormalities and fallopian tube highgrade serous carcinoma(HgSC)in a young *** SUMMARY A 35-year-old woman presented with acute dull abdominal pain and a known chromosomal abnormality involving 4q13.3 duplication and 4q23q24 *** arrival at the emergency room,her abdomen appeared ovoid and distended with palpable shifting *** were identified through abdominal ultrasound,and computed tomography revealed an omentum cake and an enlarged bilateral *** tests showed elevated CA-125 *** was conducted,and immunohistochemistry indicated that the cancer cells favored an ovarian origin,making us suspect ovarian *** patient underwent debulking surgery,which led to a diagnosis of stage IIIC HgSC of the fallopian ***,the patient received adjuvant chemotherapy with carboplatin and paclitaxel,resulting in stable current *** This study demonstrates a rare correlation between a chromosome 4q abnormality and ***2D3 may affect crucial cancer-related pathways,including P53,BRCA,cyclin D,and tyrosine kinase receptors,thereby possibly contributing to cancer *** addition,ADH1 and DDIT4 may be potential influencers of both carcinogenic and therapeutic responses.

Joint UAV trajectory and communication design with heterogeneous multi-agent reinforcement learning

Unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs) are recognized as effective means for delivering emergency communication services when terrestrial infrastructures are unavailable. This paper investigates a multiUAV-assisted communication system, where we jointly optimize UAVs’ trajectories, user association, and ground users(gUs)’ transmit power to maximize a defined fairness-weighted throughput metric. Owing to the dynamic nature of UAVs, this problem has to be solved in real time. However, the problem’s non-convex and combinatorial attributes pose challenges for conventional optimization-based algorithms, particularly in scenarios without central controllers. To address this issue, we propose a multi-agent deep reinforcement learning(MADRL) approach to provide distributed and online solutions. In contrast to previous MADRLbased methods considering only UAV agents, we model UAVs and gUs as heterogeneous agents sharing a common objective. Specifically, UAVs are tasked with optimizing their trajectories, while gUs are responsible for selecting a UAV for association and determining a transmit power level. To learn policies for these heterogeneous agents, we design a heterogeneous coordinated qMIX(HC-qMIX) algorithm to train local q-networks in a centralized manner. With these well-trained local q-networks, UAVs and gUs can make individual decisions based on their local observations. Extensive simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm outperforms state-of-the-art benchmarks in terms of total throughput and system fairness.

The Middle Permian qixia Formation in the Shuangyushi area,northwestern Sichuan Basin,develops shoal-facies dolomite *** pinpoint promising reservoirs in the qixia Formation,deep thin shoal-facies dolomite reservoirs were predicted using the techniques of pre-stack Kirchhoff-q compensation for absorption,inverse q filtering,low-to high-frequency compensation,forward modeling,and facies-controlled seismic meme *** results are obtained in six ***,the dolomite reservoirs mainly exist in the middle and lower parts of the second member of qixia Formation(qi2 Member),which coincide with the zones shoal cores are ***,the forward modeling shows that the trough energy at the top and bottom of shoal core increases with increasing shoal-core thickness,and weak peak reflections are associated in the middle of shoal ***,five types of seismic waveform are identified through waveform analysis of seismic ***-Ⅰ and Type-Ⅱ waveforms correspond to promising facies(shoal core microfacies).Fourth,vertically,two packages of thin dolomite reservoirs turn up in the sedimentary cycle of intraplatform shoal in the qi2 Member,and the lower package is superior to the upper package in dolomite thickness,scale and lateral ***,in plane,significantly controlled by sedimentary facies,dolomite reservoirs laterally distribute with consistent thickness in shoal cores at topographical highs and extend toward the ***,the promising prospects are the zones with thick dolomite reservoirs and superimposition of horstegraben structural traps.

Radiative decays D((s))*→D((s))γare revisited in light of new experimental data from the BaBar and BESⅢ*** radiative couplings gD*Dγencoding nonperturbative qCD effects are calculated in the framework of the covariant confined quark model developed by *** compare our results with other theoretical studies and experimental *** couplings(in geV-1)|g(D*+D+γ)|=0.45(9)and|g(D*0D0γ)|=1.72(34)calculated in our model agree with the corresponding experimental data|g(D*+D+γ)|=0.47(7)and|g(D*0D0γ)|=1.77(16).The most interesting case is the decay Ds*→Dsγ,for which a recent prediction based on light-cone sum rules at next-to-leading order|gDs*Dsγ|=0.60(19)deviates from the first(and only to date)lattice qCD result|gDs*Dsγ|=0.11(2)at nearly3σ.Our calculation yields|gDs*Dsγ|=0.29(6),which falls somehow between the two mentioned results,although it is larger than those predicted in other studies using quark models or qCD sum rules.
