Trace elements in magmatic and hydrothermal quartz:Implications on the genesis of the Xingluokeng Tungsten Deposit,South China

The Xingluokeng deposit is the largest gran-ite-related tungsten deposit within the Wuyi metallogenic belt in South *** Xingluokeng intrusion primarily consists of porphyritic biotite granite,biotite granite,andfine-grained *** deposit is represented by veinlet-disseminated mineralization with K-feldspathization and biotitization,alongside quartz-vein mineralization with gre-isenization and *** study investigates in-situ analyses of quartz compositions from both the intrusion and hydrothermal veinlets and *** element correlations indicate that trivalent Al^(3+)and Fe^(3+)replace Si^(4+)within the quartz lattice,with monovalent cations(such as Li^(+),Na^(+),and K^(+))primarily serving as charge *** ge/Al ratios(granites suggest a mag-matic *** low Al/Ti and ge/Ti ratios,accompanied by high Ti contents in quartz,suggest that the porphyritic biotite granite and biotite granite are characterized by rela-tively low levels of differentiation and high crystallization *** contrast,thefine-grained granite exhibits a higher degree of fractionation,lower crystallization tem-peratures,and a closer association with tungsten *** contents in quartz from quartz veins indicate Qz-Ⅰformed at temperatures above 400°C,while Qz-Ⅱto Qz-Ⅴformed at temperatures below 350°*** in different generations of quartz,as indicated by Al content and(Al+Fe)/(Li+Na+K)ratio,suggest that Qz-Ⅰprecipi-tated from a less acidicfluid with a stable pH,whereas Qz-Ⅱto Qz-Ⅴoriginated from a more acidicfluid with notable pH ***,alkaline alteration and acidic alteration supplied the essential Ca and Fe for the precipita-tion of scheelite and wolframite,respectively,highlighting a critical mechanism in tungsten mineralization at the Xin-gluokeng deposit.

In the feld of information processing,all-optical routers are signifcant for achieving high-speed,high-capacity signal processing and *** this study,we developed three types of structurally simple and fexible routers using the deep difractive neural network(D2 NN),capable of routing incident light based on wavelength and ***,we implemented a polarization router for routing two orthogonally polarized light *** second type is the wavelength router that can route light with wavelengths of 1550,1300,and 1100 nm,demonstrating outstanding performance with insertion loss as low as 0.013 dB and an extinction ratio of up to 18.96 dB,while also maintaining excellent polarization *** fnal router is the polarization-wavelength composite router,capable of routing six types of input light formed by pairwise combinations of three wavelengths(1550,1300,and 1100 nm)and two orthogonal linearly polarized lights,thereby enhancing the information processing capability of the *** devices feature compact structures,maintaining high contrast while exhibiting low loss and passive characteristics,making them suitable for integration into future optical *** study introduces new avenues and methodologies to enhance performance and broaden the applications of future optical information processing systems.

Coexistence of antiferromagnetism and unconventional superconductivity in a quasi-one-dimensional flat-band system:Creutz lattice

We study the coexistence of antiferromagnetism and unconventional superconductivity on the Creutz lattice which shows strictly flat bands in the noninteracting *** famous renormalized mean-field theory is used to deal with strong electron-electron repulsive Hubbard interaction in the effective low-energy t-J model,the superfluid weight of the unconventional superconducting state has been calculated via the linear response *** unconventional superconducting state with both spin-singlet and staggered spin-triplet pairs emerges beyond a critical antiferromagnetic coupling interaction,while antiferromagnetism accompanies this *** superconducting state with only spin-singlet pairs is dominant with paramagnetic *** A phase is analogous to the pseudogap phase,which shows that electrons go to form pairs but do not cause a *** also show the superfluid behavior of the unconventional superconducting state and its critical *** is proven directly that the flat band can effectively raise the critical temperature of *** is implementable to simulate and control strongly-correlated electrons'behavior on the Creutz lattice in the ultracold atoms experiment or other artificial *** results may help the understanding of the interplay between unconventional superconductivity and magnetism.

A condition-based maintenance policy for reconfigurable multi-device systems

The exploration of component states for optimizing maintenance schedules in complex systems has garnered significant interest from ***,current literature usually overlooks the critical aspects of system flexibility and *** implementation of system reconfiguration can effectively mitigate system downtime and enhance production *** study proposes a dynamic condition-based maintenance policy considering reconfiguration for reconfigurable systems.A double-layer decision rule was constructed for the devices and *** achieve the best overall maintenance effect of the system,the remaining useful life probability distribution and recommended maintenance time of each device were used to optimize the concurrent maintenance time window of the devices and determine whether to reconfigure them.A comprehensive maintenance efficiency index was introduced that simultaneously considered the maintenance cost rate,reliability,and availability of the system to characterize the overall maintenance *** reconfiguration cost was included in the maintenance *** proposed policy was tested through numerical experiments and compared with different-level *** results show that the proposed policy can significantly reduce the downtime and maintenance costs and improve the overall system reliability and availability.

Multi-objective optimization and evaluation of supercritical CO_(2) Brayton cycle for nuclear power generation

The supercritical CO_(2) Brayton cycle is considered a promising energy conversion system for generation IV reactors for its simple layout,compact structure,and high cycle *** models of four Brayton cycle layouts are developed in this study for different reactors to reduce the cost and increase the thermohydraulic performance of nuclear power generation to promote the commercialization of nuclear *** analysis,multi-objective optimizations,and four decision-making methods are applied to obtain each Brayton scheme’s optimal thermohydraulic and economic *** show that for the same design thermal power scale of reactors,the higher the core’s exit temperature,the better the Brayton cycle’s thermo-economic *** the four-cycle layouts,the recompression cycle(RC)has the best overall performance,followed by the simple recuperation cycle(SR)and the intercooling cycle(IC),and the worst is the reheating cycle(RH).However,RH has the lowest total cost of investment(C_(tot))of$1619.85 million,and IC has the lowest levelized cost of energy(LCOE)of 0.012$/(kWh).The nuclear Brayton cycle system’s overall performance has been improved due to *** performance of the molten salt reactor combined with the intercooling cycle(MSR-IC)scheme has the greatest improvement,with the net output power(W_(net)),thermal efficiencyη_(t),and exergy efficiency(η_(e))improved by 8.58%,8.58%,and 11.21%,*** performance of the lead-cooled fast reactor combined with the simple recuperation cycle scheme was optimized to increase C_(tot) by 27.78%.In comparison,the internal rate of return(IRR)increased by only 7.8%,which is not friendly to investors with limited *** the nuclear Brayton cycle,the molten salt reactor combined with the recompression cycle scheme should receive priority,and the gas-cooled fast reactor combined with the reheating cycle scheme should be considered carefully.

Photoinduced ligand-to-metal charge transfer(LMCT) has emerged as an effective strategy for synthesizing organic molecules in a sustainable manner. However, the majority of existing reports on selective C(sp^(3))–H bond functionalization via photoinduced LMCT focus on the use of late transition metals or rare-earth metals for radical additions or cross-couplings. In contrast, the utilization of photoinduced LMCT with 3d early transition metals poses a significant challenge. Herein, we describe an unprecedented approach to allylic C(sp^(3))–H addition to aldehydes, employing chromium(Cr) complexes as catalysts through visible-light-induced LMCT. By investigating the reaction pathway through various mechanistic studies, including radical trapping, kinetic isotope effect(KIE) analysis, and transient absorption spectroscopy, valuable insights have been gained. The proposed mechanism suggests the intermediacy of bromine radicals through homolysis of the Cr–Br bond. Notably, this protocol expands our understanding of the photochemical properties of earth-abundant Cr complexes.

Prospects for weighing neutrinos in interacting dark energy models using joint observations of gravitational waves andγ-ray bursts

Cosmological observations can be used to weigh neutrinos,but this method is model-dependent,with results relying on the cosmological model *** we consider interactions between dark energy and dark matter,the neutrino mass constraints differ from those derived under the standard *** the contrary,gravitational wave(gW)standard siren observations can measure absolute cosmological distances,helping to break parameter degeneracies inherent in traditional cosmological observations,thereby improving constraints on neutrino *** paper examines the constraints on neutrino mass within interacting dark energy(IDE)models and explores how future gW standard siren observations could enhance these *** multi-messenger gW observations,we consider the joint observations of binary neutron star mergers by third-generation ground-based gW detectors and shortγ-ray burst observations by missions similar to the THESEUS satellite *** current cosmological observations(CMB+BAO+SN),we obtain an upper limit on the neutrino mass in the IDE models of 0.15(or 0.16)*** the inclusion of gW data,the upper limit on the neutrino mass improves to 0.14 *** indicates that in the context of IDE models,the improvement in neutrino mass constraints from gW observations is relatively ***,gW observations significantly enhance the constraints on other cosmological parameters,such as matter density parameter,the Hubble constant,and coupling strength between dark energy and dark matter.
