Mayamontana coccolobae Castellano,Trappe and Lodge is described for the first time from Mexico and the second time *** is characterized by the orange,subhypogeous basidiomata and the wrinkled subglobose spores with conspicuous hilar *** is not a very common species in the region and is recorded from disturbed lowland forest and urban *** coccolobae was only known from the type locality but now extends its geographical distribution to southeast Mexico.

In-situ excimer laser ICP-MS analysis of minerals of eclogites and garnet pyrox- enites from type localities (Shuanghe, Maowu, Bixiling, and Yangkou) in the Dabie-Sulu ultra- high-pressure metamorphic belt reveals highly variable Ce anomalies from negative to positive in garnet. Similar Ce anomalies are also present in omphacite or clinopyroxene but to a much lesser extent. Such mixed negative and positive Ce anomalies mimic those found in severe weathering profiles developed under oxidizing conditions. They suggest the presence of sub- ducted sediment components in the eclogites and garnet pyroxenites, which in turn points to the potential importance of the recycled sediments in modification of the mantle composition during the deep subduction of the continental crust.

Specialized pro-resolving lipid mediators including maresin 1 mediate resolution but the levels of these are reduced in Alzheimer's disease brain, suggesting that they constitute a novel target for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease to prevent/stop inflammation and combat disease pathology. Therefore, it is important to clarify whether they counteract the expression of genes and proteins induced by amyloid-β. With this objective, we analyzed the relevance of human monocyte–derived microglia for in vitro modeling of neuroinflammation and its resolution in the context of Alzheimer's disease and investigated the pro-resolving bioactivity of maresin 1 on amyloid-β42–induced Alzheimer's disease–like inflammation. Analysis of RNA-sequencing data and secreted proteins in supernatants from the monocyte-derived microglia showed that the monocyte-derived microglia resembled Alzheimer's disease–like neuroinflammation in human brain microglia after incubation with amyloid-β42. Maresin 1 restored homeostasis by down-regulating inflammatory pathway related gene expression induced by amyloid-β42 in monocyte-derived microglia, protection of maresin 1 against the effects of amyloid-β42 is mediated by a re-balancing of inflammatory transcriptional networks in which modulation of gene transcription in the nuclear factor-kappa B pathway plays a major part. We pinpointed molecular targets that are associated with both neuroinflammation in Alzheimer's disease and therapeutic targets by maresin 1. In conclusion, monocyte-derived microglia represent a relevant in vitro microglial model for studies on Alzheimer's disease-like inflammation and drug response for individual patients. Maresin 1 ameliorates amyloid-β42–induced changes in several genes of importance in Alzheimer's disease, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target for Alzheimer's disease.

AIM:To evaluate inflammatory activity in patients with Crohn's disease (CD) using technetium-99m-hexamethylpropyleneamine oxime (99mTc-HMPAO) granulocyte ***: Twenty patients (7 male and 13 female) with CD and five healthy volunteers were selected for 99mTc-HMPAO granulocyte scintigraphy. The Crohn's Disease Activity Index (CDAI), blood tests and C-reactive protein (CRP) of each patient were performed 7 d before the scintigraphic images. The leukocytes were labeled according to the International Society of Radiolabeled Blood Elements (ISORBE) consensus protocol and the scintigraphic images, including single photon emission computed tomography, were obtained 30 min and 2 h after injection of the radiolabeled ***:The labeling yield of the leukocytes with the lipophilic complex 99mTc-HMPAO was 55.0%±10%. Six of the 20 patients (30%) presented congruent results for the three parameters investigated (CDAI, Scintigraphic Index and CRP). On the other hand, 14 patients (70%) did not show congruent results. There was no significant correlation between the indices analyzed according to the Spearman test (P>0.05,n=20).CONCLUSION: The results suggest that 99mTc-HMPAO-labeled leukocyte scintigraphy could be important for determining inflammatory activity in CD even in the absence of clinical symptoms.

Nitrogen oxides（NOx：NO,NO2）are a concern due to their adverse health *** engine transport sector is the major emitter of *** regulations have been strengthened and to comply with them,one of the two methods commonly used is the selective catalytic reduction of NOxby NH3（NH3-SCR）,NH3being supplied by the in-situ hydrolysis of *** and durability of the catalyst for this process are highly *** is evaluated by hydrothermal treatment of the catalysts at temperature above 800℃.In this study,very active catalysts for the NH3-SCR of NOxwere prepared by using a silicoaluminophosphate commercial zeolite as copper host *** by X-ray diffraction（XRD）,scanning electron microscopy（SEM）and temperature programmed desorption of ammonia（NH3-TPD）showed that this commercial zeolite was hydrothermally stable up to 850℃ and,was able to retain some structural properties up to950℃.After hydrothermal treatment at 850℃,the NOxreduction efficiency into NH3-SCR depends on the copper *** catalyst with a copper content of 1.25 wt.%was the most *** difference in activity was much more important when using NO than the fast NO/NO2reaction mixture.

Pelvic cancers are among the most frequently diagnosed neoplasms and radiotherapy represents one of the main treatment options. The irradiation field usually encompasses healthy intestinal tissue,especially of distal large bowel,thus inducing gastrointestinal(gI) radiation-induced toxicity. Indeed,up to half of radiationtreated patients say that their quality of life is affected by gI symptoms(e.g.,rectal bleeding,diarrhoea). The constellation of gI symptoms- from transient to longterm,from mild to very severe- experienced by patients who underwent radiation treatment for a pelvic tumor have been comprised in the definition of pelvic radiation disease(PRD). A correct and evidence-based therapeutic approach of patients experiencing gI radiation-induced toxicity is mandatory. Therapeutic non-surgical strategies for PRD can be summarized in two broad categories,i.e.,medical and endoscopic. Of note,most of the studies have investigated the management of radiation-induced rectal bleeding. Patients with clinically significant bleeding(i.e.,causing chronic anemia) should firstly be considered for medical management(i.e.,sucralfate enemas,metronidazole and hyperbaric oxygen); in case of failure,endoscopic treatment should be implemented. This latter should be considered the first choice in case of acute,transfusion requiring,bleeding. More well-performed,high quality studies should be performed,especially the role of medical treatments should be better investigated as well as the comparative studies between endoscopic and hyperbaric oxygen treatments.
