Delamination is a prevalent type of damage in composite laminate structures. Its accumulation degrades structural performance and threatens the safety and integrity of aircraft. This study presents a method for the quantitative identification of delamination identification in composite materials, leveraging distributed optical fiber sensors and a model updating approach. Initially, a numerical analysis is performed to establish a parameterized finite element model of the composite plate. Then, this model subsequently generates a database of strain responses corresponding to damage of varying sizes and locations. The radial basis function neural network surrogate model is then constructed based on the numerical simulation results and strain responses captured from the distributed fiber optic sensors. Finally, a multi-island genetic algorithm is employed for global optimization to identify the size and location of the damage. The efficacy of the proposed method is validated through numerical examples and experiment studies, examining the correlations between damage location, damage size, and strain responses. The findings confirm that the model updating technique, in conjunction with distributed fiber optic sensors, can precisely identify delamination in composite structures. © 2024 The Authors. In this study,a microscopic shell-model description of the low-lying collective states in the weakly deformed nucleus ^(106)Cd within the recently proposed microscopic version of the Bohr-Mottelson model is provided.A good description of the excitation energies of the lowest ground,γ,andβquasibands is obtained without the adjustable kinetic energy ***,γdegrees of freedom are shown to play a crucial role in the description of spectroscopy of this nucleus.A modified SU(3)SU(3)preserving high-order interaction is used to produce aγ-unstable type of odd-even staggering,observed experimentally between the states of the quasi-γ*** current approach enables the characterization of observed intraband and interband quadrupole *** findings of this study propose an alternative interpretation of the fundamental question regarding the nature of low-energy vibrations,as well as the emergence of deformation and collectivity in weakly deformed atomic nuclei.

In today’s manufacturing industries,hard competition between rival firms makes it compulsory for researchers to design lighter and cheaper machine components due to the megatrends of cost-effectiveness and *** this point,aluminum syntactic foams(ASFs)are new-generation engineering composites and come into the upfront as a *** to their features like low density,sufficient elongation,and perfect energy absorption ability,these advanced foams have been considerably seductive for many industrial sectors *** this study,an industrial-oriented automatic die casting technology was used for the first time to manufacture the combination of AA7075/porous expanded clay(PEC).Micro evaluations(optical and FESEM)reveal that there is a homogenous particle distribution in the foam samples,and inspections are compatible with the other ASF ***,T6 aging heat treatment was operated on one half of the produced foams to explore the probable impact of aging on the compressive *** results show that PEC particles can be an alternative to expensive hollow spheres used in the previous ***,a favorable relationship is ascertained between the aging treatment and mechanical properties such as compression strength and plateau strength.

The novel polymer metal chelate electrolytes(polychelates)were prepared by incorporation of cobalt sulfate(Co)into poly(acrylic acid)(PAA)host ***-solid state supercapacitor devices were fabricated using polychelates,PAA-Co X(X:3,5,7,and 10)where X represents the doping fraction(w/w)of Co in *** polymer metal electrolytes were showed excellent bending-stretching properties,thermal stability and electrochemical durability with an optimum ionic conductivity of 3.15×10^(-4) S cm^(-1).Hierarchically porous activated carbon and nano-sized conductive carbon were used to form carbon composite symmetrical device *** electric double-layer capacitor(EDLC)and redox reactions of Co-incorporated polychelates at the interfaces of porous activated carbon provided an optimum specific capacitance of 341.33 F g^(-1) with a device of PAA-Co7,which is at least 15 times enhancement compared to the device of pristine *** PAA-Co7 device also provided energy density of 21.25 Wh kg^(-1) at a power density of 117.69 W kg^(-1).A prolonged cyclic stability of the device exhibited superior capacitive performance after 10,000 charge-discharge cycles and the maintained 90%of its initial *** addition,the supercapacitor with a dimension of 1.5 cm×3 cm containing PAA-Co7 successfully operated the red-blue-green(RgB)LED light.

The Van Hoof effect is a phase shift existing between the radial velocity curves of hydrogen and metallic lines within the atmosphere of pulsating *** this article,we present a study of this phenomenon through the spectra of the brightest pulsating star RR Lyr of RR Lyrae stars recorded for 22 *** based ourselves,on the one hand,on 1268 spectra(41 nights of observation)recorded between the years 1994 and 1997 at the Observatory of Haute Provence(OHP,France)previously observed by Chadid and gillet,and on the other hand on 1569 spectra(46nights of observation)recorded at our Oukaimeden Observatory(Morocco)between 2015 and *** this study,we have detected information on atmospheric dynamics that had not previously been ***,the Van Hoof effect which results in a clear correlation between the radial velocities of hydrogen and those of the metallic lines has been observed and analyzed at different Blazhko phases.A correlation between the radial velocities of different metallic lines located in the lower atmosphere has been observed as *** the first time,we were able to show that the amplitude of the radial velocity curves deduced from the lines of hydrogen and that of FeⅡ(λ4923.921?)increases toward the minimum of the Blazhko cycle and decreases toward the maximum of the same Blazhko ***,we found that the Van Hoof effect is also modulated by the Blazhko ***,toward the minimum of the Blazhko cycle the Van Hoof effect is more visible and at the maximum of the Blazhko cycle,this effect is *** also observed the temporal evolution of the amplitudes of the radial velocities of the lower and upper *** observed over a long time,we can interpret it as a function of the Blazhko phases.
