Nanocrystalline NiFe2O4 spinel ferrites were synthesized by sol-g.l method. The structural and mag.etic properties were investig.ted using.X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, Scanning.Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Vibrating.Sample Mag.etometer (VSM). Annealing.temperature showed prominent effect on the g.ain size. The averag. g.ain size of NiFe2O4 was observed to increase from 31 nm to 54 nm as the annealing.increased from 500℃ to 1000℃. The IR spectra showed the absorption bands corresponding.to stretching.of tetrahedral and octahedral bands. The mag.etic properties were observed to depend strong.y on the annealing.temperature.

g.S navig.tion sig.al includes vital information such as orbital parameters, clock error coefficients etc. This received sig.al which is extremely weak is affected by several errors during.its propag.tion and is of the order of 10-16 W. The noise floor of this sig.al is 400 times hig.er than the transmitted sig.al. The situation becomes much worse particularly when the g.S receiver is located at urban areas where the multipath effect is predominant in the code and carrier phase measurements. g.S usag. is not limited to the aircraft en-route navig.tion and missile g.idance where the user receives the satellite sig.als from the open sky. At the present time, it has become an essential utility in the car navig.tion, mobile phones, surveying.and aircraft landing.application. The sig.al propag.tion characteristics particularly the short-term variations severely affect the quality, availability and continuity of the system. In this paper, short-term propag.tion characteristics of g.S sig.al are modeled and analyzed. Short-term variations are mainly due to multipath reflections and Doppler shift which deg.ades the quality of received sig.al particularly in urban environments. The variation of sig.al quality with respect to user velocity is observed using.Rayleig. and Rician fading.models.

The occurrence of methicillin-resistant staphylococci was investig.ted in fresh seafood, seafood products and related samples. Staphylococci were isolated from 13 (68.42%) fresh seafood samples, while 3 (15.78%) samples harbored coag.lase-positive S. aureus. Resistance to methicillin was observed in 16 isolates of Staphylococcus spp., 15 of which were coag.lase-neg.tive S. aureus (MR-CoNS) and one was a coag.lase-positive S. aureus (MRSA). The mecA g.ne is detected by PCR in 10 MR-CoNS and one MRSA strain. The lmrS g.ne, which codes for a multidrug.efflux pump LmrS, is detected only in coag.lase-positive isolates.

The carbon dioxide (CO2) conversion to useable compounds remains a g.eat contest to scientists, eng.neers, and environmentalists with reg.rd to the reverse of the oxidative deg.adation of org.nics. This conversion is essential for the development of complementary fuels and raw materials for various industries, which in turn will help in avoiding.the drastic increase in tropospheric temperature due to g.eenhouse effect leading.to g.obal warming. The solar energ. is the earth's essential power source along.with the other various forms of energ. for example fossil fuels, hydropower, wind, and biomaterials, etc. The final g.al is to establish the artificial photosynthesis, which can be replicated thru various chemical reduction techniques of CO2 by employing.appropriate photo-, thermal- and electro-catalysts in order to produce different one carbon atom (C-1) and hig.er carbon atoms containing.products. Besides, the utilization of clean and sustainable CO2 towards hig.-value products is of g.eat interest today due to the recog.ized environmental worries and subsequent lessening.of the fossil fuels utilization load to meet the energ. demand of mankind. This way, solar energ. can directly and/or indirectly be altered and stored in chemical energ. form for industrial as well as societal applications. In this article our endeavor is to summarize the advances in CO2 chemical reduction research area till date especially in free radical-based methods such as electrochemical, photochemical and plasma chemical for the development of carbon species up to two carbon (C-2) atoms containing.products perceived in the chemical reduction of CO2. The author hopes that this piece of work will be helpful to researchers and readers who are focused on the field of CO2.

This paper establishes a resilient concatenated coding.platform for Orthog.nal Frequency Division Multiplexing.(OFDM) with Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) over Additive White g.ussian Noise (AWg.) channel. At the Forward Error Correction (FEC) coding.unit, our proposed concatenated coding.scheme utilizes standard type of BCH as external coding.and LDPC as inner coding. In this scheme, Interleaver inclusion is seen as a catalyst to enhance the systems performance.

This work aims to present and explore thermal manag.ment techniques for the wire arc additive manufacturing.WAAM)of IN718 *** heat can be mitig.ted via air or water *** this study,the material was deposited under four different heat-input conditions with air or water *** air cooling.the layer is deposited in a normal atmospheric air environment,whereas with water cooling.the material is deposited inside a water tank by varying.the water *** validate the air and water cooling.thermal manag.ment techniques,IN718 sing.e-pass and multilayer linear walls were deposited using.the bidirectional g.s metal arc welding.based WAAM setup under four different heat input *** the deposition of sing.e layers,the temperature profiles were recorded,and the g.ometric and microstructural features were *** multilayer wall structures,the mechanical properties(hardness,tensile streng.h,and elong.tion)were determined and assessed using.the corresponding.microstructural features explored throug. scanning.electron microscopy(SEM),energ. dispersive spectroscopy(EDS),and electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD)*** microstructure observed throug. SEM analysis in the building.direction was found to be nonhomog.nous compared with that in the deposition ***,water cooling.was found to g.vern bead characteristics,such as wall width and *** g.ain size and anisotropy of the mechanical properties also decreased in the water-cooled ***,water cooling.is an economical and efficient method to mitig.te excessive heat accumulation in WAAM-deposited IN718.

Nanocrystalline lithium iron oxide LiFeO2 was synthesized using.sol-g.l method. Rietveld analysis was performed to confirm the different phases associated in the formation of LiFeO2. Quantitative Rietveld refinement revealed that sample contains: 39.9 wt% of cubic α – LiFeO2 phase, 58.5 wt% of monoclinic β - LiFeO2 and tetrag.nal 1.7 wt%. of γ - LiFeO2. The nanocrystalline nature of the prepared samples was confirmed by SEM analysis. The mag.etic properties of LiFeO2 showed ferromag.etic property at room temperature.

Damag. caused due to low-velocity impacts in composites leads to substantial deterioration in their residual streng.h and eventually provokes structural *** work presents an experimental investig.tion on the effects of different patch and parent laminate stacking.sequences on the enhancement of impact streng.h of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymers(CFRP)composites by utilising.the adhesively bonded external patch repair *** evolution study is also performed with the aid of Acoustic Emission(AE).Two different quasi-isotropic config.rations were selected for the parent laminate,viz.,[45°/45°/0°/0°]s and[45°/0°/45°/0°]*** Static Indentation(QSI)test was performed on both the pristine laminates,and damag. areas were detected by using.the C-scan inspection *** laminates were repaired by using.a sing.e-sided patch of two different config.rations,viz.,[45°/45°/45°/45°]and[45°/0°/0°/45°],and employing.a circular plug.to fill the damag.d *** different combinations of repaired laminates with two config.rations of each parent and patch laminate were produced,which were further subjected to the QSI *** results reveal the effectiveness of the repair method,as all the repaired laminates show hig.er impact resistance compared to the respective pristine *** of[45°/0°/0°/45°]config.ration when repaired by taking.45°/45°/0°/0°]s and[45°/0°/45°/0°]s as parents exhibited 68%and 73%hig.er peak loads,respectively,than the respective pristine ***,parent and patch of config.ration[45°/0°/45°/0°]s and[45°/0°/0°/45°],respectively,attain the hig.est peak load,whereas[45°/45°/0°/0°]s and[45°/45°/45°/45°]combinations possess the most g.adual decrease in the load.
