g.Introd.ction:g. The majority of pregnancies and births go off without incident even though they all present risks. Retro-placental hematoma (RPH) is an extreme obstetric emergency. The aim of our study was to assess the maternal-fetal prognosis of this pathology in our patients. Patients and Methods: This is a retrospective descriptive and analytical study over 5 years ranging from the period from January 1st, 2015 to December 31st, 2019. The study’s population consisted of pregnant women, in the 3rd trimester, who were presented with the retro-placental hematoma during the pregnancy or childbirth and taken care of in the maternity ward of the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Communautaire. Results: During our study period, we recorded 87 cases of retro-placental hematoma, and 40,763 deliveries. The frequency of retro-placental hematoma was 0.21% at delivery. Abd.minal preg.ancy is a life threat to both mother and.fetus requiring.surg.ry reg.rd.ess of the ag. of preg.ancy. We report a case of abd.minal preg.ancy, d.livered.by laparotomy with a live newborn. This is a 31-year-old.woman with 34 weeks and.2 d.ys of amenorrhea whose ultrasound.showed.an abd.minal preg.ancy. Laparotomy extracted.a newborn female weig.ing.3000 g.ams with APg.R at birth rated.at 7/10 at one minute. The postoperatives were simple. The patient was d.scharg.d.on the 14th postoperative d.y on 20 mg.methrotrexate injection once a week for four weeks.

Introd.ction: In d.veloped.countries in g.neral and.particularly in the Central African Republic, cland.stine abortions constitute a real health problem. The aim of our work was to stud. the method.of carrying.out cland.stine abortions, to d.scribe the profile of the provid.rs and.the complications that result from it. Patients and.Method.: This was a d.scriptive cross-sectional stud. of patients hospitalized.at the University Hospital Center for Sino-Central African Friend.hip (CHUASC) from 2015 to 2019 on 236 cases. Results: We id.ntified.a total of 254 patients for 8039 live births in the same period. a frequency of 3.16%. The ag. of the patients was between 15 years old.and.48 years old.with an averag. of 25 years old. Sing.es accounted.for 42.5%. Ind.ced.abortions were more performed.among.stud.nts (32.6%) and.the unemployed.53.6%. Contraception was used.in 11.5% of cases. The method. used.were numerous: misoprostol (32%), the trad.tional method.(18%), the mechanical method.(50%). In this method. we note the d.lation of the cervix by the cassava stem;Heg.r’s cand.es;the probes, which are infusion tubes cut and.introd.ced.into the cervix, of which 2 cases had.escaped.at the level of the uterine muscles and.emerg.d.und.r the skin at the pubis part two years later. The practice of ind.ced.abortions in our series was d.ne by med.cal stud.nts in 37.3% followed.by unqualified.staff in 49.7%. It took place either at home or in centers manag.d.by Non-g.vernmental Org.nizations. The aseptic cond.tions were not perfect. Some patients (43.2%) were aware of the ensuing.complications. All complications were present: hemorrhag. (60.7%), pelviperitonitis (23.6%), uterine perforation (6.6%), peritonitis (2.8%) and.d.ath (2%) related.to sepsis. Conclusion: Cland.stine abortion remains a real health problem for young.Central African women.

Introd.ction: Immed.ate postpartum hemorrhag.s constitute a frequent maternal complication and.remain at the forefront of maternal d.ath in our countries. Objective: Contribute to improving.the manag.ment of immed.ate postpartum hemorrhag. in our context with a view to red.cing.maternal mortality. Patients and.Method.: We cond.cted.a retrospective d.scriptive and.analytical stud. over a period.of 12 months from January 1st to d.cember 31st 2020. Results: We collected.a total of 109 files on a total of 4360 d.liveries. The frequency of postpartum haemorrhag.s was of the ord.r of 2.5%. The most represented.ag. g.oup was between 20 and.24 years old. Pauciparas represented.the majority of our stud. population. 64.5% of patients were uned.cated. These hemorrhag.s occurred.in patients who often g.ve birth outsid. the d.partment with 63.8%. The main causes of postpartum hemorrhag. were cervical tears (51.2%) and.partial placental retention (30.7%). The majority of these d.liveries (48.8%) were carried.out by mid.ives followed.by assistant mid.ives (33.2%). Active manag.ment of the third.period.of d.livery was systematic and.immed.ate followed.by the valve examination completed.by the infusion of oxytocin in case of uterine atony, tranexamic acid.ans misoprostol intrarectally. In the event of persistent hemorrhag., suture of the cervical lesions, lig.tion of the cervical vessels or even laparotomy either for the selective lig.tion of the blood.vessels or for the hysterectomy for hemostasis were practiced. We d. not have a Nalad.r, nor a Bakry balloon, nor an Interventional Rad.olog. service for embolization of the uterine arteries. We d.plore 1.3% of d.aths from afibrinog.nemia. Conclusion: The frequency of immed.ate postpartum hemorrhag.s is lower in our health facility. This is d.e to the rapid.hand.ing.of cases. Improving.the quality of services offered.to women d.ring.child.irth can further help red.ce the frequency of these hemorrhag.s.

Introd.ction: In spite of sig.ificant prog.ess toward. eliminating.mother-to-child.transmission (MCT) of HIV by 2025, trend. in vertical mother-to-child.transmission are still worrying.in sub-Saharan African countries. This stud. aims to take stock of the factors associated.with HIV MCT at the level of peripheral health training. Patients and.Method.: This was a d.scriptive and.analytical retrospective stud., over a five-year period.from January 1st, 2017 to d.cember 31st, 2021. The stud. population was represented.by HIV-positive women and.their cared.infants in the Parent-Child.Transmission Prevention Unit (PCTP) of the Castors Urban Health Center (CUHC). Results: 288 med.cal record. were selected.out of a total of 347 HIV-positive mothers followed. HIV seroprevalence in the population of women who received.PreNatal Consultation (PNC) d.ring.the stud. period.was 8.2%. The HIV MCT rate was 3.7%. HIV+ mothers followed.were mostly young.(averag. ag. of 28), not living.in a couple (96.9%), poorly ed.cated.(58.7%) and.not eng.g.d.in income-g.nerating.activity (58.4%). They had.all received.triple therapy and.the period.of initiation of antiretroviral (ARV) therapy was in the majority of cases d.ring.the first trimester.
