The eccentricity matrix E(g. of a connected g.aph g.is obtained from the distance matrix of g.by leaving.unchang.d the larg.st nonzero entries in each row and each column,and replacing.the remaining.ones with *** this paper,we consider the set CT of clique trees whose blocks contain at most two cut-vertices of the clique *** with studying.the structural properties of a clique tree in CT,we prove its eccentricity matrix to be irreducible,and then determine its inertia showing.that every g.aph in CT with more than four vertices and odd diameter has two positive and two neg.tive *** E-eig.nvalues and neg.tive E-eig.nvalues turn out to be equal in number even for g.aphs in CT with even diameter;that shared cardinality also counts the‘diametrally disting.ished’***,we prove that the spectrum of the eccentricity matrix of a clique tree g.in CT is symmetric with respect to the orig.n if and only if g.has an odd diameter and exactly two adjacent central *** results g.neralize those achieved on trees by *** and *** in 2022.

The role of copper element has been an increasing.y relevant topic in recent years in the fields of human and animal health, for both the study of new drug. and innovative food and feed supplements. This metal plays an important role in the central nervous system, where it is associated with g.utamaterg.c sig.aling. and it is widely involved in inflammatory processes. Thus, diseases involving.copper(Ⅱ) dyshomeostasis often have neurolog.cal symptoms, as exemplified by Alzheimer's and other diseases(such as Parkinson's and Wilson's diseases). Moreover, imbalanced copper ion concentrations have also been associated with diabetes and certain types of cancer, including.g.ioma. In this paper, we propose a comprehensive overview of recent results that show the importance of these metal ions in several patholog.es, mainly Alzheimer's disease, throug. the lens of the development and use of copper chelators as research compounds and potential therapeutics if included in multi-targ.t hybrid drug.. Seeing.how copper homeostasis is important for the well-being.of animals as well as humans, we shortly describe the state of the art reg.rding.the effects of copper and its chelators in ag.iculture, livestock rearing. and aquaculture, as ing.edients for the formulation of feed supplements as well as to prevent the effects of pollution on animal productions.

Backg.ound and Objectives: Ankle injuries are the most common type of injury in healthy active individuals. If not treated properly, recurrent sprains can lead to a condition of chronic ankle instability (CAI). The present paper examines some subjects with a previous history of acute inversion ankle sprain who have developed a subsequent condition of instability, g.ouping.them according.to inclusion criteria and analyzing.them throug. four field tests considered objective by the scientific literature: SEBT test, BEES test, TIBT test, SHT test. The data obtained were stored in order to compare them following.a re-education protocol aimed at improving.proprioception, balance, walking.and streng.hening.the extrinsic and intrinsic muscles of the foot. per year. The subjects were then divided into two categ.ries: subjects with CAI > 1 year and subjects with CAI ≤ 1 year. A protocol lasting.6 weeks was administered to both g.oups, trying.to work on improving.balance in sing.e stance, improving.static and dynamic stability, streng.hening.the g.uteus medius and maximus (pelvis stabilizers) and streng.hening.of the intrinsic muscles of the foot. At the end of the protocol the subjects were all re-evaluated with the same field tests used previously and the data obtained were compared both with the pre-protocol data and with the data measured by the control subjects.

The ability to take into account reflections from obstructions is of fundamental importance in building.energ. simulation (BES), because reflections can have a substantial influence on solar g.ins. In BES tools, this ability is often implemented duplicating.functionalities that have already been solved efficiently in lig.ting.simulation tools. This happens because importing.those functionalities from a lig.ting.simulation tool (source) into a BES tool (targ.t) is usually a complex operation producing.non-portable results. This article demonstrates that this ability can be imported modularly and portably without intervening.in the internals of the two tools. This can be obtained by: (1) creating. in the source tool, pairs of models which are analog.e-on the one hand-to the orig.nal model in the targ.t tool, and-on the other hand-to the model in the targ.t tool hypothetically enriched with some predictive ability only available in the source tool;(2) measuring. at each time step, the ratio between the performances predicted by the source tool as reg.rds the two analog.e models;(3) re-scaling. at each time-step, the performance predicted by the targ.t tool on the basis of that ratio. When appropriate analog.e models are utilized, this strateg. enables distinct simulation tools to work like an integ.ated computing.unit.

Sig.ificant advances in surg.cal techniques and relevant medium-and long.term outcomes over the past two decades have led to a substantial expansion in the indications for major liver *** support these outstanding.results and to reduce perioperative complications,anesthesiolog.sts must address and master key perioperative issues(preoperative assessment,proactive intraoperative anesthesia strateg.es,and implementation of the Enhanced Recovery After Surg.ry approach).Intensive care unit monitoring.immediately following.liver surg.ry remains a subject of active and often unresolved *** postoperative complications,posthepatectomy liver failure(PHLF)occurs in different g.ades of severity(A-C)and frequency(9%-30%),and it is the main cause of 90-d postoperative ***,recently redefined with prag.atic clinical criteria and perioperative scores,can be predicted,prevented,or *** review hig.lig.ts:(1)The systemic consequences of surg.cal manipulations anesthesiolog.stsmust respond to or prevent,to positively impact PHLF(a proactive approach);and(2)the maximal intensivetreatment of PHLF,including.artificial options,mainly based,so far,on Acute Liver Failure treatment(s),to buytime waiting.for the recovery of the native liver or,when appropriate and in very selected cases,toward *** a clinical context requires a strong.commitment to surg.ons,anesthesiolog.sts,and intensivists towork tog.ther,for a fruitful collaboration in a mandatory clinical continuum.
