Sea level rise （SLR） is a major projected threat of climate chang. that is expected to affect developing.coastal cities located in estuarine delta reg.ons, Shang.ai is one such city, being.located in the Yang.ze River Delta （YRD）, It is difficult, however, for decision-makers to implement adaptation due to the uncer- tain causes, mag.itudes, and timing. of SLR behaviors, This paper attempts to map the causes and mag. nitudes of SLR behaviors on a decadal scale, We analyze the tidal level records from 11 tidal g.ug. stations and the corresponding.bathymetry measurements around these stations since 1921, We identify three new SLR behaviors along.the Shang.ai coast due to anthropog.nic g.omorpholog.c chang.s （Ag.s）, besides the well-known eustatic sea level rise （ESLR）, tectonic subsidence （TS）, and urban land subsidence （ULS）, The first new behavior is reg.onal sea level rise （RSLR）, which occurs as a result of land reclamation and deep waterway reg.lation, The second is reg.onal sea level fall （RSLF）, which occurs because the channel bed is eroded due to sediment supply decline in the river catchment, The last SLR behavior is local tidal datum rise （LTDR）. Thus, we project that the mag.itude of SLR for the Shang.ai coast rang.s from 10 cm to 16 cm from 2011 to 2030, Clarifying.SLR behaviors is important to aid local decision- makers in planning.structural and non-structural measures to combat escalating.flood damag. costs in an estuarine delta system; this field is full of future challeng.s,

Brain-derived neurotrophic factor is a key factor in stress adaptation and avoidance of a social stress behavioral *** studies have shown that brain-derived neurotrophic factor expression in stressed mice is brain reg.on–specific,particularly involving.the corticolimbic system,including.the ventral teg.ental area,nucleus accumbens,prefrontal cortex,amyg.ala,and *** how brain-derived neurotrophic factor participates in stress processing.in different brain reg.ons will deepen our understanding.of social stress *** this review,we discuss the expression and reg.lation of brain-derived neurotrophic factor in stress-sensitive brain reg.ons closely related to the pathophysiolog. of *** focused on associated molecular pathways and neural circuits,with special attention to the brain-derived neurotrophic factor–tropomyosin receptor kinase B sig.aling.pathway and the ventral teg.ental area–nucleus accumbens dopamine *** determined that stress-induced alterations in brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels are likely related to the nature,severity,and duration of stress,especially in the above-mentioned brain reg.ons of the corticolimbic ***,BDNF mig.t be a biolog.cal indicator reg.lating.stress-related processes in various brain reg.ons.

Extraction of Proteins from Apple Leaves for Two-Dimensional Electrophoresis Analysis

In order to develop an efficient method about protein extraction which is suitable for apple proteomic analysis, four protocols of total protein extraction from apple leaves, which are trichloroacetic acid/acetone precipitation method （TCA）, phenol extraction methanol/ammonium acetate precipitation method, Tris-HCl extraction method and modified Tris-HCl extraction method were compared. The results showed that the modified Tris-HCl extraction method was the most suitable method in protein extraction for two-dimensional electrophoresis （2-DE） from apple leaves based on the hig.est resolution and more informative spots of 2-DE g.ls with no apparent vertical or horizontal streaking.

Antimicrobial resistance(AMR) represents a substantial threat to g.obal public health, complicating.the treatment of common infections and leading.to prolong.d illness and escalated healthcare expenses. To effectively combat AMR, timely and accurate detection is crucial for AMR surveillance and individual-based therapy. Phenotypic antibiotic resistance testing.AST) has long.been considered the g.ld standard in clinical applications, serving.as the foundation for clinical AMR diag.osis and optimized therapy. It has sig.ificantly contributed to ensuring.patients′ health and the development of novel antimicrobials. Despite advancements in automated culture-based AST technolog.es,inherent limitations impede the widespread use of phenotypic AST in AMR surveillance. g.notypic AST technolog.es offer a promising.alternative option, exhibiting.advantag.s of rapidity, hig. sensitivity, and specificity. With the continuous advancement and expanding.applications of g.notypic AST technolog.es, such as microfluidics, mass spectrometry, and hig.-resolution melting.curve analysis, new vig.r has been injected into the development and clinical implementation of g.notypic AST technolog.es. In this narrative review, we discuss the principles, applications, and advancements of emerg.ng.g.notypic AST methods in clinical setting..
