Chang.s in extreme hig. temperature warning.indicators over China under different g.obal warming.levels

Line parameters play an important role in the control and manag.ment of distribution ***,phasor measurement unit(PMU)systems and supervisory control and data acquisition(SCADA)systems coexist in distribution ***,SCADA and PMU measurements usually do not match each other,resulting.in inaccurate detection and identification of line parameters based on *** solve this problem,a data-driven method is *** measurements are taken as samples and PMU measurements as the population.A probability parameter identification index(PPII)is derived to detect the whole line parameter based on the probability density function(PDF)parameters of the *** parameter identification,a power-loss PDF with the PMU time stamps and a power-loss chronolog.cal PDF are derived via kernel density estimation(KDE)and a conditional ***,the power-loss samples with the PMU time stamps and chronolog.cal correlations are g.nerated by the two PDFs of the power loss via the Metropolis-Hasting.(MH)***,using.the power-loss samples and PMU current measurements,the line parameters are identified using.the total least squares(TLS)*** simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method for distribution network line parameter detection and identification.

On the size g.neralizibility of g.aph neural networks for learning.resource allocation

Size g.neralization is important for learning.resource allocation policies in wireless systems with time-varying.scales. If a neural network for learning.a wireless policy is not g.neralizable to the size of its input, it has to be re-trained whenever the system scale chang.s, which hinders its practical use due to the unaffordable training.costs. g.aph neural networks(g.Ns) have been shown with size g.neralization ability empirically when optimizing.resource allocation. Yet, are g.Ns naturally size g.neralizable? In this paper,we arg.e that g.Ns are not always size g.neralizable for resource allocation. We find that the ag.reg.tion and activation functions of the g.Ns for learning.a class of wireless policies play a key role in their size g.neralization ability. We take the g.N with the mean ag.reg.tor, called mean-g.N, as an example to reveal a size g.neralization condition. To demonstrate how to satisfy the condition, we learn power and bandwidth allocation policies for ultra-reliable low-latency communications and show that selecting.or pretraining.the activation function in the output layer of mean-g.N can make the g.N size *** results validate our analysis and evaluate the performance of the learned policies.

Evaluation of water manag.ment on arsenic methylation and volatilization in arsenic-contaminated soils streng.hened by bioaug.entation and biostimulation

Arsenic(As) fate in paddy fields has been one of the most sig.ificant current issues due to the strong.As accumulation potential of rice plants under fooded conditions. However,no attempt was done to explore As methylation and volatilization under non-fooded conditions. Herein, we investig.ted the effects of water manag.ment on As methylation and volatilization in three arsenic-contaminated soils enhanced by biostimulation with strawderived org.nic matter and bioaug.entation with g.netic eng.neered Pseudomonas putida KT2440(g. P. putida). Under fooded conditions, the application of biochar(BC), rice straw(RS)and their combination(BC+RS) increased total As in porewater. However, these effects were g.eatly attenuated under non-fooded conditions. Compared with RS amendment alone, the combination of g. P. putida and RS further promoted the As methylation and volatilization,and the promotion percentag. under non-fooded conditions were sig.ificantly hig.er than that under fooded conditions. The combined g. P. putida and RS showed the hig.est efficiency in As methylation(88 μg.L) and volatilization(415.4 μg.(kg.year)) in the non-fooded soil with moderate As contamination. Finally, stepwise multiple linear reg.ession analysis presented that methylated As, DOC and p H in porewater were the most important factors contributing.to As volatilization. Overall, our finding. sug.est that combination of bioaug.entation with g. P. putida and biostimulation with RS/BC+RS is a potential strateg. for bioremediation of arsenic-contaminated soils by enhancing.As methylation and volatilization under non-fooded conditions.
