The application of extracellular vesicles,particularly exosomes(EXs),is rapidly expanding.in the field of medicine,owing.to their remarkable properties as natural carriers of biolog.cal *** study investig.tes utilization of exosomes derived from stromal cells of tumor adjacent normal tissues(NAF-EXs)for personalized medicine,which can be derived at the time of diag.osis by endoscopic ***,we show that exosomes(EXs)derived from NAFs demonstrate differential bio-physical characteristics,efficient cellular internalization,drug.loading.efficiency,pancreatic tumor targ.ting.and delivery of ***-derived EXs(NAF-EXs)were used for loading.ormeloxifene(ORM),a potent anti-cancer and desmoplasia inhibitor as a model *** found that ORM maintains normal fibroblast cell phenotype and renders them incompatible to be trig.ered for a CAF-like phenotype,which may be due to reg.lation of Ca^(2+) influx in fibroblast ***-EXs-ORM effectively blocked oncog.nic sig.aling.pathways involved in desmoplasia and epithelial mesenchymal transition(EMT)and repressed tumor g.owth in xenog.aft mouse *** conclusion,our data sug.ests preferential tropism of NAF-EXs for PDAC tumors,thus imply feasibility of developing.a novel personalized medicine for PDAC patients using.autolog.us NAF-EXs for improved therapeutic outcome of anti-cancer ***,it provides the opportunity of utilizing.this biolog.cal scaffold for effective therapeutics in combination with standard therapeutic reg.men.

Comparison between two tritrophic food chain models with multiple delays and anti-predation effect

Exploring.the predator prey linkag. in food chain system is the most familiar research work in population ***,some research experiments show that predator-prey interaction not only g.verned by direct hunting.but also influenced by some indirect effect such as fear effect(felt by prey)that may chang. the physiolog.cal behavior of *** upon this fact,we consider a tritrophic food chain model incorporating.with anti-predation response(fear effect)and multiple time delays for biomass conversion from prey to middle predator and middle to top *** analyze the resulting.delay differential equations and explore how the anti-predation response level affects the population *** also investig.te the effect of delay parameters,for which the model system switches its stability throug. *** compare all of our results between two different food chain models consisting.of two different functional *** numerical simulations are performed to validate the effectiveness of the derived theoretical results.

Effects of slip, viscous dissipation and Joule heating.on the MHD flow and heat transfer of a second g.ade fluid past a radially stretching.sheet

The flow and heat transfer of an electrically conducting.non-Newtonian second g.ade fluid due to a radially stretching.surface with partial slip is considered. The partial slip is controlled by a dimensionless slip factor, which varies between zero （total adhesion） and infinity （full slip）. Suitable similarity transformations are used to reduce the resulting.hig.ly nonlinear partial differential equations into ordinary differential equations. The issue of paucity of boundary conditions is addressed and an effective numerical scheme is adopted to solve the obtained differential equations even without aug.enting.any extra boundary conditions. The important finding. in this communication are the combined effects of the partial slip, mag.etic interaction parameter and the second g.ade fluid parameter on the velocity and temperature fields. It is interesting.to find that the slip increases the momentum and thermal boundary layer thickness. As the slip increases in mag.itude, permitting.more fluid to slip past the sheet, the skin friction coefficient decreases in mag.itude and approaches zero for hig.er values of the slip parameter, i.e., the fluid behaves as thoug. it were inviscid. The presence of a mag.etic field has also substantial effects on velocity and temperature fields.

Enhanced time response and temperature sensing.behavior of thermistor using.Zn-doped CaTiO_3 nanoparticles

In the present study, Zn-doped CaTiO_3 nanocrystalline was synthesized to study the thermistor behavior with temperature. The X-ray powder diffraction analysis showed the formation of a sing.e-phase orthorhombic structure at room temperature. The electrical resistance of the Zn-doped CaTiO_3 increased with increasing.doping.concentration and decreased at hig.er measuring.temperature, showing.a neg.tive temperature coefficient of resistance(NTCR) behavior. Different thermistor parameters were calculated using.Steinhart–Hart equations, whilst time domain analysis confirmed faster response towards applied voltag..

ANN modeling.for diffusivity of mushroom and veg.tables using.a fluidized bed dryer

Drying.characteristics in terms of diffusivity were studied for mushrooms and different veg.tables in a fluidized bed dryer. Drying.characteristics with falling.rate reg.me were computed for all the sampi^z. Effective diffusivity of each sample was calculated. Mass transfer coefficients were determined. Mass transfer kinetics for drying.of different samples was also found out. Correlations for the diffusivity of samples were developed by relating.the experimentally observed data with the different system parame- ters on the basis of reg.ession analysis. The developed correlations for effective moisture diffusivity of the samples are validated by artificial neural network （ANN） modeling. Finally calculated values of diffusivity obtained throug. both the methods are compared with the experimentally measured values which show a very g.od approximation thereby indicating.the wide applicability of the developed correlations for industrial uses.

Seg.eg.tion characteristics of irreg.lar binaries in g.s solid fluidized beds——An ANN-approach

Binary mixtures of irreg.lar materials of different particle sizes and/or particle densities are fluidized in a 15-cm diameter column with a perforated plate distributor. An attempt has been made in this work to determine the seg.eg.tion characteristics of jetsam particles for both the homog.neous and heterog.neous binary mixtures in terms of seg.eg.tion distance by correlating.it to the various system parameters, viz. initial static bed heig.t, heig.t of a layer of particles above the bottom g.id, superficial g.s velocity and averag. particle size and/or particle densities of the mixture throug. the dimensional analysis. Correlation on the basis of Artificial Neural Network approach has also been developed with the above system parameters thereby authenticating.the development of correlation by the former approach. The calculated values of the seg.eg.tion distance obtained for both the homog.neous and heterog.neous binary mixtures from both the types of ftuidized beds （i.e. under the static bed condition and the ftuidized bed condition） have also been compared with each other.
