Abundant FeS2 with high theoretical capacity is one of the promising anode candidates in sodium-ion batteries(SlBs),however,the uneven sodium deposition due to the poor interface compatibility and sluggish reaction kinetics because of the high activation barrier still plague its practical application.Herein,we synthesized the ordered porous carbon matrix wrapped FeS2 nanoparticles(FeS_2@OCN)with high sodium wettability and low pore tortuosity to economically enhance the interface compatibility as well as to lower the energy barrier in SIBs.The synergistic effects of low tortuosity pores and strong sodium wettability homogenize the Na+flux distribution,bring the electron dislocation via the enrichment of edgenitrogen(Pyridinic N and Pyrrolic N),thus achieving the dendrite-free sodium deposition and dramatically enhanced reaction kinetics.Benefiting from exceptional structural/compositional/electronic merits,the resultant anode is endowed with exceptional structure stability,achieving long-term cycling stability of 451.9 mAh·g^(-1)after 1000cycles at 1 A·g^(-1)with specific capacity retention of 92.9%.Attenuated electrode tortuosity and high sodium wettability can corporately improve the interface compatibility and attenuate the activation barrier of the FeS_2 host and beyond.

Aluminized explosives exhibit excellent performance because the oxidation of aluminum(Al)powders enhances the pressure and temperature of detonation products.However,the equation of state(EOS)of detonation products has not been understood well.In the present study,we conducted long-time tests(approximately 1 ms)of a metal rod driven by detonation products of RDX,RDX/Li F,and RDX/Al.In addition,we used laser velocimetry(PDV)to measure the freesurface velocity of the rod.Thermochemical code DLCHEQ was successfully applied to the hydrodynamic program SSS to perform the roddriven test,and a novel method was established to study the EOS of detonation products from the perspective of composition.The reliability of DLCEHQ was validated by a small deviation(<10%)between the experimental rod free-surface velocity of RDX and the calculated results;the deviation was considerably less than that from the results obtained using the JWL EOS and ideal-gas EOS.The endothermic process and the reaction of Al powders(Al+H_(2)O+NO+CO_(2)→CO+H_(2)+N_(2)+Al_(2)O_(3))were analyzed by calculating the rod free-surface velocity of RDX/Li F and RDX/Al,respectively.The results of the present study demonstrated that the thermodynamic state of Al powders has notable influence on the EOS of aluminized detonation products,and the findings were compared with those of previous studies.First,the temperature equilibrium between Al powders and CHNO products is not always achieved,and the disequilibrium is more obvious when the reaction of Al powders is stronger.Second,the reaction rate of Al powders depends on pressure and Al content.Finally,the endothermic process of Al powders has a high contribution to the decrease in the work ability of RDX/Al instead of the gasconsumption mechanism of the Al reaction.More than half of the reaction heat of Al powders is used to heat itself,whereas the gas consumption during the reaction is negligible.

To the Editor:Kaposiform hemangioendothelioma (KHE) is a rare, locally invasive, vascular tumor of infants and adolescents. It has an annual incidence of approximately 0.071 per 100,000 childre ,KHE has a roughly equal gender ratio.It generally affects the soft tissues presenting as mass lesions with associated cutaneous abnormities and Kasabach-Merritt phenomenon (KMP). KHE locating in non-cutaneous sites (such as viscera and retroperitoneum) and those with KMP are reported to be associated with poor prognosis due to a more aggressive disease phenotype.

Photo-responsive mechanical actuator is a class of stimuli-responsive materials transferring light to mechanical energy through macroscopic transformation.To fabricate photo-responsive mechanical actuator,soft polymeric materials crosslinked with functional bridging structures are desired.Supramolecular interaction is a relatively common way to fabricate crosslinked materials due to its excellent self-assembly performance.And azobenzene and derivatives are ideal candidates of photo-responsive materials because of the unique photo-induced trans-cis isomerization.Here,a new kind of crosslinked materials based on supramolecular interaction between 4,4'-dihydroxyazobenzene and chitosan is reported.Under 355 nm irradiation,the macroscopic bending of polymeric materials occurs rapidly due to the photo-isomerization of 4,4-dihydroxyazobenzene.Meanwhile,the photo-responsive mechanical actuator can also lift weight which is up to 200 times that of the actuator itself,and convert energy from light to mechanical work efficiently.This report suggests a new kind of photo-responsive actuator based on supramolecular interaction and may be helpful to contribute a theoretical basis to the design and synthesis of photo-responsive mechanical actuator suitable for large-scale manufacturing industrialization in future.

This study investigated degradation behaviors of a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug Nabumetone(NMT)and its major metabolite 6-methoxy-2-naphthylacetic acid(MNA)in the coupling process of ultraviolet and monochloramine(UV/NH2Cl).The second-order rate constants of the contaminants reacting with reactive radicals(HO·,Cl·,Cl_(2)·-,and CO_(3)·^(-))were determined by laser flash photolysis experiments.HO·and Cl·contributed predominantly with 52.3%and 21.7%for NMT degradation and 60.8%and 22.3%for MNA degradation.The presence of chlorides retarded the degradation of NMT,while promoted the destruction of MNA,which was ascribed to the photosensitization effects of MNA under UV irradiation.Density functional theory(DFT)calculations revealed that radical adduct formation(RAF)was dominant pathway for both HO·and Cl·reacting with the contaminants,and hydrogen atom transfer(HAT)preferred to occur on side chains of NMT and MNA.NMT reacted with NO_(2)·through single electron transfer(SET)with the second-order rate constant calculated to be 5.35×10^(7)(mol/L)^(-1)sec^(-1),and the contribution of NO_(2)·was predicted to be 13.0%of the total rate constant of NMT in pure water,which indicated that NO_(2)·played a nonnegligible role in the degradation of NMT.The acute toxicity and developmental toxicity of NMT were enhanced after UV/NH_(2)Cl treatment,while those of MNA were alleviated.The transformation products of both NMT and MNA exhibited higher mutagenicity than their parent compounds.This study provides a deep understanding of the mechanism of radical degradation of NMT and MNA in the treatment of UV/NH2Cl.

Under the development of computing and network convergence,considering the computing and network resources of multiple providers as a whole in a computing force network(CFN)has gradually become a new trend.However,since each computing and network resource provider(CNRP)considers only its own interest and competes with other CNRPs,introducing multiple CNRPs will result in a lack of trust and difficulty in unified scheduling.In addition,concurrent users have different requirements,so there is an urgent need to study how to optimally match users and CNRPs on a many-to-many basis,to improve user satisfaction and ensure the utilization of limited resources.In this paper,we adopt a reputation model based on the beta distribution function to measure the credibility of CNRPs and propose a performance-based reputation update model.Then,we formalize the problem into a constrained multi-objective optimization problem and find feasible solutions using a modified fast and elitist non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm(NSGA-II).We conduct extensive simulations to evaluate the proposed algorithm.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed model and the problem formulation are valid,and the NSGA-II is effective and can find the Pareto set of CFN,which increases user satisfaction and resource utilization.Moreover,a set of solutions provided by the Pareto set give us more choices of the many-to-many matching of users and CNRPs according to the actual situation.

Spherical micro-Ti particle(TiP)-reinforced AZ91 magnesium alloy composites were fabricated by semi-solid stirring assisted ultrasonic vibration,which were then subjected to hot extrusion.The microstructure results showed that the addition of Ti particles refined the grain size and decreased the texture intensity of the as-extruded AZ91 alloy.An Al3Ti phase with a thickness of 100 nm formed at the Ti/Mg interface,which had a non-coherent relationship with the magnesium matrix.The as-extruded 1 vol.%TiP/AZ91 composite exhibited the best comprehensive mechanical properties,with yield strength,ultimate tensile strength,and elongation at break of 366 MPa,456 MPa,and 14.6%,respectively,which were significantly higher than those of the AZ91 alloy.Therefore,the addition of Ti particles can improve the strength and ductility of the AZ91 alloy,demonstrating the value of magnesium matrix composites for commercial applications.
