Consensus-based Optimal Control Strategy for Multi-microgrid Systems with Battery Degradation Consideration

Consensus has been widely used in distributed control,where distributed individuals need to share their states with their neighbors through communication links to achieve a common ***,the objectives of existing consensus-based control strategies for energy systems seldom address battery degradation cost,which is an important performance indicator to assess the performance and sustainability of battery energy storage(BES)*** this paper,we propose a consensusbased optimal control strategy for multi-microgrid systems,aiming at multiple control objectives including minimizing battery degradation *** consensus is used to synchronize the ratio of BES output power to BES state-of-charge(SoC)among all microgrids while each microgrid is trying to reach its individual *** order to reduce the pressure of communication links and prevent excessive exposure of local information,this ratio is the only state variable shared between *** our complex nonlinear problem might be difficult to solve by traditional methods,we design a compressive sensing-based gradient descent(CSGD)method to solve the control *** simulation results show that our control strategy results in a 74.24%reduction in battery degradation cost on average compared to the control method without considering battery *** addition,the compressive sensing method causes an 89.12%reduction in computation time cost compared to the traditional Monte Carlo(MC)method in solving the control problem.

Li metal batteries （LMBs） with Li Ni0.8Mn0.1Co0.1O2（NMC811） cathodes could release a specific energy of >500 Wh kg-1by increasing the charge ***,high-nickel cathodes working at high voltages accelerate degradations in bulk and at interfaces,thus significantly degrading the cycling lifespan and decreasing the specific ***,we rationally design an all-fluorinated electrolyte with addictive tri（2,2,2-trifluoroethyl） borate （TFEB）,based on 3,3,3-fluoroethylmethylcarbonate （FEMC） and fluoroethylene carbonate （FEC）,which enables stable cycling of high nickel cathode (Li Ni0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2,NMC811) under a cut-off voltage of 4.7 V in Li metal *** electrolyte not only shows the fire-extinguishing properties,but also inhibits the transition metal dissolution,the gas production,side reactions on the cathode ***,the NMC811||Li cell demonstrates excellent performance by using limited Li and high-loading cathode,delivering a specific capacity>220 m A h g-1,an average Coulombic efficiency >99.6% and capacity retention >99.7% over 100 cycles.

An Aerial Target Recognition Algorithm Based on Self-Attention and LSTM

In the application of aerial target recognition, on the one hand, the recognition error produced by the single measurement of the sensor is relatively large due to the impact of noise. On the other hand, it is difficult to apply machine learning methods to improve the intelligence and recognition effect due to few or no actual measurement samples. Aiming at these problems, an aerial target recognition algorithmbased on self-attention and Long Short-TermMemoryNetwork (LSTM) is proposed. LSTMcan effectively extract temporal dependencies. The attention mechanism calculates the weight of each input element and applies the weight to the hidden state of the LSTM, thereby adjusting the LSTM's attention to the input. This combination retains the learning ability of LSTM and introduces the advantages of the attention mechanism, making the model have stronger feature extraction ability and adaptability when processing sequence data. In addition, based on the prior information of the multidimensional characteristics of the target, the three-point estimation method is adopted to simulate an aerial target recognition dataset to train the recognition model. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm achieves more than 91% recognition accuracy, lower false alarm rate and higher robustness compared with the multi-attribute decision-making (MADM) based on fuzzy numbers. © 2024 The Authors. Submerged entry nozzle(SEN)clogging is a major problem affecting the production quality of rare earth steel,and finding a suitable refractory outlet can significantly reduce production *** explore the relationship between refractory composition and interface interaction,unprotected coated Al_(2)O_(3)–MgO refractories and SiO2-coated Al_(2)O_(3)–MgO refractories were added to rare earth high-carbon heavy rail steel under laboratory conditions,and the Al_(2)O_(3)–MgO refractory was found to be more *** results show that,from the epoxy resin side to the refractory side,the contour of the refractory interface reaction layer can be divided into two main layers:an iron-rich reaction layer and an iron-poor reaction *** based on the spherical model suggest that the adhesion force is proportional to the size of the refractory particles and inclusions,and the same result applies to the surface *** the inclusions at a smaller size has a specific effect on alleviating the erosion of *** with the erosion mechanism of Al_(2)O_(3)–MgO refractories,the interface reaction mechanism between Al_(2)O_(3)–MgO refractories and molten steel was proposed,which provides ideas for solving SEN clogging.

2'-fucosyllactose(2'-FL)is one of the important functional oligosaccharides in breast *** far,few attempts on biosynthesis of 2'-FL by the salvage pathway have been ***,the salvage pathway enzyme genes were introduced into the *** BL21star(DE3)for synthesis of 2'-*** 2'-FL titer increased from 1.56 to 2.13 g/L by deleting several endogenous genes on competitive ***α-1,2-fucosyltransferase(WbgL)was selected,and improved the 2'-FL titer to 2.88 g/***,the expression level of pathway enzyme genes was tuned through optimizing the plasmid copy ***,the spatial distribution of WbgL was enhanced by fusing with the MinD *** optimizing the fermentation conditions,the 2'-FL titer reached to 7.13 g/*** final strain produced 59.22 g/L of 2'-FL with 95%molar conversion rate of lactose and 92% molar conversion rate of fucose in a 5 L *** findings will contribute to construct a highly efficient microbial cell factory to produce 2'-FL or other HMOs.

Arbitrary skin metallization by pencil-writing inspired solid-ink rubbing for advanced energy storage and harvesting

The development of a durable metallic coating on diverse substrates is both intriguing and challenging,particularly in the research of metal-conductive materials for applications such as batteries,soft electronics,and ***,by learning from the pencil-writing process,a facile solid-ink rubbing technology(SIR-tech)is invented to address the above *** solid-ink is exampled by rational combination of liquid metal and graphite *** harnessing the synergistic effects between rubbing and adhesion,controllable metallic skin is successfully formed onto metals,woods,ceramics,and plastics without limitation in size and ***,outperforming pure liquid-metal coating,the composite metallic skin by SIR-tech is very robust due to the self-lamination of graphite nanoplate exfoliated by liquid-metal *** critical factors controlling the structures-properties of the composite metallic skin have been systematically investigated as *** applications,the SIR-tech is demonstrated to fabricate high-performance composite current collectors for next-generation batteries without traditional metal ***,advanced skin-electrodes are further demonstrated for stable triboelectricity generation even under temperature fluctuation from-196 to 120℃.This facile and highly-flexible SIR-tech may work as a powerful platform for the studies on functional coatings by liquid metals and beyond.

Proliferating cell nuclear antigen of Ulva prolifera is involved in the response to temperature stress

Ulva prolifera is the most common specie causative to green tide,and its growth is sensitive to temperature ***,the mechanisms of *** response to temperature stress remain *** this study,high temperature(36℃)stimulus promoted the death of unformed cell wall protoplasts and delayed the division of formed cell wall protoplasts,while low-temperature(4℃)stimulus did not,suggesting that the mechanisms of the response of *** to high and low temperature stresses are *** results show that proliferation-related genes were differentially expressed under high and low-temperature stresses,especially the proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA)and cyclins(CYCs).Subsequently,the interaction between PCNA and Cyclin A was confirmed by Co-immunoprecipitation,yeast two-hybrid,and so ***,high-and low temperature stresses induced the expression of PCNA and Cyclin A in varying of degrees,and activated extracellular signal-regulated kinase(ERK)signal *** results suggest,PCNA,Cyclin A,and ERK signal pathway played important roles in the resistance of *** to temperature ***,high-temperature stress induced an increase of miR-2916 in abundance,and exhibiting reverse expression of PCNA;and PCNA was target gene of miR-2916,suggesting that miR-2916 protected *** from high-temperature stress via post-transcriptionally regulation of *** study laid a foundation for understanding the function of PCNA and Cyclin A,moreover,it has a guiding significance to explore the mechanisms of the response to temperature stress from proliferation-related genes regulatory networks in ***.

Optogenetics combines optics and genetic engineering to control specific gene expression and biological functions and has the advantages of precise spatiotemporal control,noninvasiveness,and high *** modified photosensory sensors are engineered into proteins to modulate conformational changes with light ***,optogenetic techniques can provide new insights into oral biological processes at different levels,ranging from the subcellular and cellular levels to neural circuits and behavioral ***,we introduce the origins of optogenetics and highlight the recent progress of optogenetic approaches in oral and craniofacial research,focusing on the ability to apply optogenetics to the study of basic scientific neural mechanisms and to establish different oral behavioral test models in vivo(orofacial movement,licking,eating,and drinking),such as channelrhodopsin(ChR),archaerhodopsin(Arch),and halorhodopsin from Natronomonas pharaonis(NpHR).We also review the synergic and antagonistic effects of optogenetics in preclinical studies of trigeminal neuralgia and maxillofacial *** addition,optogenetic tools have been used to control the neurogenic differentiation of dental pulp stem cells in translational *** the scope of optogenetic tools is increasing,there are limited large animal experiments and clinical studies in dental *** future directions include exploring therapeutic strategies for addressing loss of taste in patients with coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),studying oral bacterial biofilms,enhancing craniomaxillofacial and periodontal tissue regeneration,and elucidating the possible pathogenesis of dry sockets,xerostomia,and burning mouth syndrome.
