Fault-Tolerant Design for Data Efficient Retransmission in WiNoC

There is a sharp decline in the network performance when the wireless link fails as a data path in the Wireless Network-on-Chip(WiNoC).To counteract this problem,we propose a fault-tolerance mechanism for the efficient retransmission of data in the *** an error is detected in the data transmission process,this mechanism works to feed back the fault information to the source node in real time via fault signal *** the source node,the highest transmission priority is assigned to the backup retransmitted data,and the corresponding direct link is positioned to enable the data packet for its efficient retransmission to the destination node,thereby ensuring efficiency in fault ***,we have improved the receiving port of the wireless router,added the corresponding redundant buffers and mux,and dynamically selected the retransmitted non-faulty data packets to be written to the local router in order to avoid the disorderly retransmission of the data *** evaluation results of this paper demonstrate that compared with the methods which are under different fault conditions,this fault-tolerant method drastically improves the data throughput rate,reduces the delay,effectively guarantees the reliability of the network,and improves the system performance.

Background Eutrophication and acid rain are two threats that many water bodies must contend *** and climate change have accelerated widespread outbreaks of cyanobacterial blooms as both have become more *** cordata,a garden ornamental plant,can inhibit some algae growth and remove total nitrogen(TN)and total phosphorus(TP)from the *** this study,we investigated how simulated acid rain and eutrophication co-pollution affected ***’s growth physiology and ability to inhibit algae *** Under mild eutrophication(2 mg·L^(−1)TN,0.4 mg·L^(−1)TP,and 15 mg·L^(−1)CODMn)or weak acid rain(pH=5.0),*** alleviated the degree of cell membrane lipid peroxidation by stabilizing superoxide dismutase(SOD)and catalase(CAT)activities in the leaves,allowing for normal plant *** mild eutrophication and acid rain conditions,cultured *** water samples maintained strong algae inhibition by reducing the Chl a content and SOD activity of Microcystis aeruginosa *** stress where acid rain was the primary inhibitory factor along with moderate or severe eutrophication inhibited *** growth,which probably reduced the input of algae-inhibiting allelochemicals,thus reducing its ability to inhibit *** In summary,*** has application potential in mild eutrophic water and acid rain(pH≥4).These findings provide guidance for further research on phytoremediation and algae control in scenarios of compound pollution.

It is of great significance to study the water absorption and expansion of cells,which are essential for the growth and life regulation of plants,not only for understanding the complex life phenomena of plants,but also for the manufacture of biomimetic *** main purpose of this study is to shed light on the mechanism of a novel coiling phenomenon of the split dandelion scape soaked in water and the high concentration mannitol *** discovered that the difference between water absorption/dehydration capacities of inner cells and lateral cells of the split dandelion scape generates asymmetric expansion/contraction between inner and lateral layers,resulting two opposite coiled *** to the deformable hypothesis of the thermal expansion model,the water absorption-induced cell expansion model was proposed to explain the coiling process of the split dandelion *** the simulation and experimental results revealed that the coiling of dandelion scape is strongly depended on the response of cells to the stimulation of the solution *** considerable potential load bearing capacity of plants,the coiling phenomenon can be an inspiration to the designs of soft robots and bionic sensors for humidity control.

Various Mn-based catalysts for NO oxidation were prepared using MnO_(x)as active compound,while Ti O_(2)and Al_(2)O_(3)were adopted as catalyst *** performance of the catalysts was tested to study the effect of support on Mn-based catalyst *** of the catalysts followed as Mn_(0.4)/Al>Mn_(0.2)/Al>Mn_(0.4)/Ti>Mn_(0.2)/Ti>MnO_(x)>Al_(2)O_(3)on the whole,indicating the synergism of MnO_(x)and Al_(2)O_(3)for NO catalytic *** were analyzed according to characterization *** oxygen on catalyst rather than lattice oxygen was detected as the active oxidizer for NO *** catalyst support,Al_(2)O_(3)provided more sites to carry surface adsorbed oxygen than TiO_(2),resulting in the presence of more active oxygen on Mn O_(x)/Al_(2)O_(3)than on MnO_(x)/TiO_(2).Moreover,MnO_(x)/Al_(2)O_(3)possessed high surface area and pore volume,which greatly benefited the adsorption of NO on catalyst and further favored the oxidation of NO by active *** these advantages helped Mn_(0.4)/Al exhibited the best catalytic efficiency.

The effect of hydrogen on the growth mechanism of pyrocarbon has attracted much attention. The influence of hydrogen on the dissociation from CH4to C2H2on pristine graphene,N-doped graphene and vacancy graphene have been investigated by using density functional *** are two kinds of heterogeneous reaction pathways when the hydrogen is involved, i.e., dehydrogenation reactions and H-abstraction reactions. The transition state calculations were performed to acquire the reaction pathways on each substrate after obtaining the most stable adsorption configurations of the reactants and products. The results indicate that the adsorptions of reactants are not affected by hydrogen. The dehydrogenation reactions are more favored on vacancy graphene, and the H-abstraction reactions are more favored on the pristine graphene and N-doped graphene. The dehydrogenation reactions on the vacancy graphene are most favored among all these reactions in favor of the deposition of pyrocarbon. The dehydrogenation reactions on these three substrates are affected by hydrogen.

As a kind of large-scale physical energy storage,compressed air energy storage(CAES)plays an important role in the construction of more efficient energy system based on renewable energy in the *** with traditional industrial compressors,the compressor of CAES has higher off-design performance *** the perspective of design,it needs to pay attention not only to the performance of the design point,but also to the performance of all the stable working ***,from the previous literature,no diagonal compressor was used in CAES which can meet the requirements,which also reflects the design program can be further ***,this paper studies the design strategy of high efficient diagonal compressor for large-scale CAES,and gives the complete strategy algorithms used for different program *** pressure ratio,isentropic efficiency and stable working range are comprehensively *** the design process,the criteria for the key parameters of the diagonal flow angle of the diagonal compressor are given for the first *** results show that the isentropic efficiency at the design point is 92.7%,the total pressure ratio is1.97,and the stable working range exceeds 20%,which meets the design requirements of the compressor for CAES and exceeds the overall performance of the previous compressors in the entire working range.

Laser powder bed fusion(LPBF)technology is a high-precision metal additive manufacturing(AM)*** to the high specific strength of high strength aluminum alloys,high strength aluminum alloys fabricated by LPBF have broad application prospects in the field of light ***,high strength aluminum alloys have high hot cracking *** this study,an analysis of the hot cracking susceptibility as a function of processing parameters is presented for single tracks of LPBF processed(LPBFed)high strength Al–Cu–Mg–Mn *** hot cracking in single tracks of LPBFed Al–Cu–Mg–Mn alloy is solidification cracking based on the experimental observations of *** Rosenthal simulations and spreading behavior of a single droplet,the critical scanning speed of single track with balling phenomenon was *** was found that when the laser power was 200 W,the scanning speed exceeded 440.1 mm/s,the droplet will not be able to spread completely,which is consistent with the experimental result of 500 mm/*** the calculation and analysis of the microstructure and the existence time of the molten pool,it was pointed out that the reduction in the liquid phase caused by the high scanning speed,the shortening of the solidification time and the high stress caused by the high-temperature gradient promoted the generation of hot *** summary,this work contains a practical guide to optimize processing parameters of LPBFed Al–Cu–Mg–Mn alloys,which provides a basis for fabricating thin walls and cubic samples without hot cracking.

BACKGROUND Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2,is a worldwide *** COVID-19 patients develop severe acute respiratory distress syndrome and progress to respiratory *** such cases,extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO)treatment is a necessary life-saving *** SUMMARY Two special COVID-19 cases—one full-term pregnant woman and one elderly(72-year-old)man—were treated by veno-venous(VV)-ECMO in the Second People’s Hospital of Zhongshan,Zhongshan City,Guangdong Province,*** patients had developed refractory hypoxemia shortly after hospital admission,despite conventional support,and were therefore managed by *** both experienced multiple ECMO-related complications on top of the COVID-19 disease,their conditions improved *** patients were weaned successfully from the ECMO *** the time of writing of this report,the woman has recovered completely and been discharged from hospital to home;the man remains on mechanical ventilation,due to respiratory muscle weakness and suspected lung *** ECMO itself is associated with various complications,it is very important to understand and treat these complications to achieve optimal *** VV-ECMO can provide sufficient gas exchange for COVID-19 patients with acute respiratory distress ***,it is crucial to understand and treat ECMO-related complications.
