黄铁矿是富有机质沉积的特征矿物。根据tOC/S、tOC/DOP、S/fe关系以及S-tOC-fe多重线性回归分析结果对三水盆地古近系土布心组红岗段黑色页岩中沉积黄铁矿的形成及其控制因素进行了分析。土布心组红岗段黑色页岩的黄铁矿有成岩黄铁矿和同生黄铁矿两种成因组分。红岗段下部(亚段A)有机碳含量普遍较低,底部水体以弱氧化条件为主,硫酸盐还原作用发生于沉积物/水界面以下,黄铁矿为成岩成因,其形成主要受有机质的限制。红岗段中上部(亚段B和C)的沉积条件变化频繁,其有机碳含量变化幅度大。富有机质(tOC>4%)岩层形成于缺氧的底部水体条件下。水体中可含H2S,碎屑铁矿物在埋藏之前即与之在水体中反应形成同生黄铁矿。这一过程不受有机质的限制,而是受活性铁与H2S接触时间的限制。同时,由于大量淡水输入导致硫酸盐浓度的降低,从而对硫化物形成有一定的限制作用。对于低有机质(tOC<4%)样品,黄铁矿由同生和成岩组分组成。其中以成岩黄铁矿为主,其形成过程主要受有机质限制,而同生黄铁矿受铁矿物与H2S接触时间的限制。

In this work we perform a theoretical calculation in order to reconstitute the （E-t） phase diagram of a chiral smectic liquid crystal in the vicinity of the SmA-SmCα＊ transition. this reconstruction is carried out on the basis of a thermo-dynamic calculation of the slope of the curve joining the SmC＊ domain and the unwound SmC＊. An empiric correction of the mean field term of Landau De-Gennes development is necessary to accomplish this reconstruction. thereafter, an experimental validation is performed to verify our calculations.

this paper examines the transport analysis, including both heat transfer and mass transfer, in hybrid nanofluid flow containing gyrotactic microorganisms towards a curved oscillatory surface. the influence of magnetic fields is also inspected in terms of their physical characteristics. to depict the phenomena of transport, modified versions of both fick's and fourier's laws are used. Additionally, the characteristics of both heterogeneous and homogeneous chemical reactions are also incorporated. Utilizing a curvilinear coordinate system, the flow problem is formulated as partial differential equations(PDEs)for momentum, concentration, microorganism field, and energy. An analytical solution to the obtained flow equations is achieved utilizing the homotopy analysis method(HAM).the effects of significant.flow parameters on the pressure and microorganism fields, velocity, oscillation velocity, concentration, and temperature distributions are shown via graphs. furthermore, the variations in skin friction, mass transfer rate, heat transfer rate, and local motile number due to different involved parameters are presented in tables and are analyzed in detail. Graphical results indicate that the curves of velocity and temperature fields are enhanced as the values of the solid volume fraction variables *** is also verified that the concentration rate field decreases as the values of the homogeneous reaction strength parameter and the radius of curvature parameter increase, and it increases with the Schmidt number and the heterogeneous reaction strength *** outcomes show a favorable response of the motile number to advanced values of the Peclet number, the Schmidt number, the microorganism difference parameter, and the bio-convective Lewis number.

Background:Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is the most common cause of cancer-related death in Saudi *** study aimed to investigate the patterns of HCC and the effect of tNM staging,Alfa-fetoprotein(AfP),and Child-turcotte Pugh(CtP)on patients’overall survival(OS).Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 43 HCC patients at a single oncology center in Saudi Arabia from 2015 to *** patients had to fulfill one of the following criteria:(a)a liver lesion reported as definitive HCC on dynamic imaging and/or(b)a biopsy-confirmed ***:the mean patient age of all HCC cases was 66.8 with a male-to-female ratio of 3.3:*** patients were strat.fied into two groups:viral HCC(n=22,51%)and non-viral HCC(n=21,49%).Among viral-HCC patients,55%were due to HBV and 45%due to *** was diagnosed in 79%of *** and sex did not significantly statistically differ in OS among viral and non-viral HCC patients(p-value>0.05).About 65%of patients had tumor size>5 cm during the diagnosis,with a significant statistical difference in OS(p-value=0.027).AfP was>400 ng/ml in 45%of the *** was a statistically significant difference in the OS in terms of AfP levels(p-value=0.021).A statistically significant difference was also observed between the CtP score and OS(p-value=0.02).CtP class B had the longest *** was the most common treatment provided to HCC patients followed by sorafenib *** was a significant statistical difference in OS among viral and non-viral HCC patients(p-value=0.008).Conclusions:the most common predictors for OS were the underlying cause of HCC,AfP,and tumor *** having non-viral etiology,a tumor size>5 cm,an AfP>400 ng/mL,and a CtP score class C were all negatively associated with OS.

If a first-order algebraic ODE is defined over a certain differential field,then the most elementary solution class,in which one can hope to find a general solution,is given by the adjunction of a single arbitrary constant to this *** of this type give rise to a particular kind of generic point—a rational parametrization—of an algebraic curve which is associated in a natural way to the ODE’s defining *** for the opposite direction,we show that a suitable rational parametrization of the associated curve can be extended to a general solution of the ODE if and only if one can find a certain automorphism of the solution *** automorphisms are determined by linear rational functions,i.e.,Möbius *** properties of rational parametrizations,in combination with the particular shape of such automorphisms,lead to a number of necessary conditions on the existence of general solutions in this solution ***,the desired linear rational function can be determined by solving a comparatively simple differential system over the ODE’s field of *** results hold for arbitrary differential fields of characteristic zero.

the present communication addresses an interesting problem related to the indeterminacy in hardness of superelastic Niti reported by Xu et al. the origin of the indeterminacy is attributed to the inadequacy of the conventional Vickers hardness testing measurement which does not record elastic deformation, and thus the indeterminacy may be removed with suitable techniques. Concepts of hardness in relation to deformation are clarified. Recommendations for measuring the hardness of Niti and other elastic-plastic materials are suggested, together with comments on the advantages and disadvantages of each of these methods.

the Honggang member of the early Paleogene Buxin formation is the main source rock in the Sanshui Basin, characterized by organic-rich black shales with the cyclic recurrence of organic- poor sediments. the geochemical characteristics of the Honggang member have been documented to determine the organic matter types and depositional environments in this paper. the organic matter of the black shales mainly consists of a mixture of land plant-derived and phytoplankton-derived organic matter. total organic carbon content （tOC）-sulfur-iron （fe） relationships suggest that the organicrich black shales were deposited under dysoxic-to-euxinic water conditions. the time that iron minerals remained in contact with H2S in anoxic waters possibly influenced the formation of syngenetic pyrite, and organic carbon controlled the formation of diagenetic pyrite. Organic-poor intervals usually show pyrite sulfur enrichment and higher degree of pyritization values relative to low organic carbon contents. this resulted from HS- diffusing downward from overlying organic-rich sediments and formed fe sulfides through reactions with sufficient.fe. trace elements generally exhibit low concentrations and little tOC dependence, suggesting some degree of depletion in these elements in the early Paleogene sediments of the Sanshui Basin. this probably resulted from cyclic recurrences of oxic benthic conditions, which promoted the remobilization of trace elements and caused the low concentration of trace elements.
