Online Postcolumn Indirect Detection for Determination of Ibandronate in Pharmaceutical Tablets by HPLC/DAD

Ibandronate sodium monohydrate is a highly polar aliphatic compound that belongs to the bisphosphonate class,a widely used bone resorption *** aliphatic nature of ibandronate precludes direct photometric detection and its high polar-ity urged analysts to use ion-pairing agents in the mobile phase to promote retention in reversed-phase *** this work,a reversed-phase method for determination of ibandronate sodium monohydrate in pharmaceutical tablets is introduced by employing an online postcolumn ligand exchange reaction to enable photometric *** method offers for the first time the ability to separate the drug from its well-known impurities on conventional reversed-phase *** detection reac-tion depends on the ability of ibandronate and its degradation products to displace salicylate in the iron(III)salicylate complex,forming various colorless iron(III)complexes and showing a negative chromatographic signal for ibandronate and its degra-dants atλ_(max)=525 *** chromatographic separation was achieved using a Hypersil BDS C_(8) column(5μm particle size,150 mm×4.6 mm i.d.)and a mobile phase consisting of a mixture of aqueous formate buffer pH 3(pH 3,5 mM)and methanol in a ratio of 80:20%(v/v),delivered at a flow rate of 0.8 mL/*** postcolumn iron(III)salicylate reagent was prepared at 250μM in aqueous formate buffer,delivered using a syringe pump at a flow rate of 0.5 mL/*** proposed method was validated as per the guidelines of the International Conference on Harmonization Q2(r1)and was found linear over the range 40-120μg/mL(r=0.9995)with a limit of detection of 3.19μg/*** to currently reported methods,the proposed method is considerably simpler,faster,cheaper,and adequately sensitive and makes use of the most popular LC detectors.

The present research studies the relationship between place attachment and the perception of form’s visual quality in fifteen outstanding contemporary Iranian architectural cultural *** study puts forward the hypothesis that there is a correlation between the quality of building form and the sense of place attachment,in the sense that creating high visual quality through enhancing the quality of building form increases citizens’initial satisfaction with and subsequent attachment to the *** visual quality influences people’s experience of the environment and improves the quality of *** attachment highlights how people,on a personal level,recreate a sense of place for *** present study adopts the descriptive-analytical method as its theoretical framework and the survey as the empirical *** were developed using the Likert scale and distributed among experts and ordinary *** analysis using SPSS and the adoption of descriptive-analytical statistics,correlation analysis,and regression showed the relationship among the characteristics of *** results show a positive correlation between form and place attachment mediated through visual quality,and they are causal conditions for one *** addition,only some of the buildings under study evoke the same level of place attachment.

Improved combustion stability of biogas at different CO_(2) concentrations using inhomogeneous partially premixed stratified flames

Biogas is a renewable and clean energy source that plays an important role in the current environment of lowcarbon *** high-content CO_(2) in biogas can be separated,transformed,and utilized,it not only realizes high-value utilization of biogas but also promotes carbon reduction in the biogas *** improve the combustion stability of biogas,an inhomogeneous,partially premixed stratified(IPPS)combustion model was adopted in this *** thermal flame structure and stability were investigated for a wide range of mixture inhomogeneities,turbulence levels,CO_(2) concentrations,air-to-fuel velocity ratios,and combustion energies in a concentric flow slot burner(CFSB).A fine-wire thermocouple is used to resolve the thermal flame *** flame size was reduced by increasing the CO_(2) concentration and the flames became lighter *** flame temperature also decreased with increase in CO_(2) *** stability was reduced by increasing the CO_(2) ***,at a certain level of mixture inhomogeneity,the concentration of CO_(2) in the IPPS mode did not affect the ***,the IPPS mode of combustion should be suitable for the combustion and stabilization of *** should support the design of highly stabilized biogas turbulent flames independent of CO_(2) *** data show that the lower stability conditions are partially due to the change in fuel combustion energy,which is characterized by the Wobbe index(WI).In addition,at a certain level of mixture inhomogeneity,the effect of the WI on flame stability becomes dominant.

Facies development and sedimentology of the Middle Miocene carbonates of the raghama Formation, northeastern Saudi Arabia

ragahama Formation comprises a siliciclastic continental deposits followed by marine carbonates, representing prograding alluvial fans from adjacent high hinterlands seaward into lagoons and fringing reef environments. The present work aimed to document the facies development and sedimentology of the raghama carbonates exposed along the eastern coastal plain of the red Sea, northwestern Saudi Arabia. Four stratigraphic sections were measured and sampled(D1–D4) and thin sections and major and trace element analyses were prepared and applied for petrographic and geochemical approaches. The carbonates were subdivided into three successive fore-reef, reef-core, and back-reef depositional facies. Sandy stromatolitic boundstone, microbial laminites, dolomitic ooidal grainstone, bioclastic coralline algal wackestone, sandy bioclastic wackestone, and coral boundstones were the reported microfacies types. Petrographic analysis reveals that the studied carbonates were affected by dissolution, dolomitization, and aggrading recrystallization, which affects both the original micrite matrix and grains or acts as fracture and veinlet filling leading to widespread vuggy and moldic porosity. No evidence of physical compaction, suggesting rapid lithification and recrystallization during early diagenesis and prior to substantial burial and intensive flushing by meteoric waters. Most of the original microstructure of corals were leached and destructed. This is indicated by the higher depletion in Sr and Ca levels and increase in Mg,Na, Fe, and Mn levels, especially in section D1, in comparison with the worldwide carbonates.

Condition monitoring of the insulating system within power transformers has a massive importance according to the electrical *** gas analysis(DGA)is frequently used for this ***,DGA lacks the necessary level of accuracy to identify all equipment faults,particularly in their initial stages of ***,it does not have the capability for real-time monitoring and relies on manual sampling and laboratory testing,causing potential delays in fault ***,the interpretation of DGA data necessitates specialised expertise,which may pose difficulties for smaller entities that have limited access to ***,the contribution of this research is to use infrared spectroscopy measurements as a new effective technique substituting the DGA method for fault diagnosis in insulating *** inception faults that were considered in this study were the electrical fault(discharges of high energy)and the thermal fault(300°Cratureregarding that,two test cells were crafted especially for serving the simulation processes inside the laboratory for both types of inception ***,six samples of pure paraffinic mineral oil were taken to be degraded in the *** that,all of them besides another sample that were not subjected to any kind of faults were taken to be examined by Fourier transform infrared(FTIr)spectroscopy to obtain an overview of the oil's behaviour in each fault *** that,the FTIr analysis was initially verified utilising the DGA ***,for further affirmation,the dielectric dissipation factor(DDF)for all samples was *** the final analysis,the verification tests provide experimental evidence about the outperformance of this new optical technique in detecting the transformer's inception faults in addition to proving its potential for being a superior alternative to the well-known traditional diagnostic techniques.

Path-Based Clustering Algorithm with High Scalability Using the Combined Behavior of Evolutionary Algorithms

Path-based clustering algorithms typically generate clusters by optimizing a benchmark *** optimiza-tion methods in clustering algorithms often offer solutions close to the general optimal *** study achieves the global optimum value for the criterion function in a shorter time using the minimax distance,Maximum Spanning Tree“MST”,and meta-heuristic algorithms,including Genetic Algorithm“GA”and Particle Swarm Optimization“PSO”.The Fast Path-based Clustering“FPC”algorithm proposed in this paper can find cluster centers correctly in most datasets and quickly perform clustering *** FPC does this operation using MST,the minimax distance,and a new hybrid meta-heuristic algorithm in a few rounds of algorithm *** algorithm can achieve the global optimal value,and the main clustering process of the algorithm has a computational complexity of O�k2×n�.However,due to the complexity of the minimum distance algorithm,the total computational complexity is O�n2�.Experimental results of FPC on synthetic datasets with arbitrary shapes demonstrate that the algorithm is resistant to noise and outliers and can correctly identify clusters of varying sizes and *** addition,the FPC requires the number of clusters as the only parameter to perform the clustering process.A comparative analysis of FPC and other clustering algorithms in this domain indicates that FPC exhibits superior speed,stability,and performance.

A Proposed Approach for Measuring Maturity Level of Software Delivery

Software delivery is vital for modern organizations, driving innovation and competitiveness. Measuring an organization’s maturity in software delivery is crucial for efficiency and quality. The Capability Maturity Model (CMM) framework provides a roadmap for improvement but assessing an organization’s CMM Level is challenging. This paper offers a quantitative approach tailored to the CMM framework, using Goal-Question-Metric (GQM) frame-works for each key process area (KPA). These frameworks include metrics and questions to compute maturity scores effectively. The study also refines practices into questions for a thorough assessment. The result is an Analysis Matrix that calculates weighted scores and an overall maturity score. This approach helps organizations assess and enhance their software delivery processes systematically, aiming for improved practices and growth.

Assessment of tear film parameters post-treatment with commercial eyelid cleaning wipes:a pilot study

AIM:To investigate the short-term effects of commercially available eyelid-cleaning wipes on film ***:This study enrolled 48 healthy participants aged 20-35y(both males and females).Clinical assessment included the Ocular Surface Disease Index(OSDI)questionnaire,non-invasive tear break-up time(NITBUT),tear meniscus height(TMH),and lipid layer pattern(LLP).Based on these initial results,participants were categorized as either non-dry eye or dry *** in each group were randomly allocated to either Blephaclean■or Systane■*** in NITBUT,TMH,and LLP levels before and after lid wipe treatment were ***:The dry eye group exhibited significantly higher OSDI scores and lower NITBUT and TMH levels than in the non-dry eye group(Pry eye subjects experienced a significant improvement in NITBUT levels(P=0.0014)compared to the non-dry eye *** the remaining participants showed a marginal increase in TMH and NITBUT levels,these changes did not achieve statistical significance(P>0.05).Similarly,the LLP levels were significantly improved with Systane■(Preatment compared to individuals in the non-dry eye ***,the dry eye subjects showed higher posttreatment LLP levels than the untreated group(Prt-term effects of Systane®eyelid wipes on tear film parameters suggest their effectiveness in dry eye ***,further exploration of their long-term impact is essential to justify their cost effectiveness and efficacy in treating both aqueous deficiency and evaporative dryness.

【目的】随着非常规油气理论的发展,沉积有机质富集机理再次成为热点研究,其中有机质富集主控因素成为争论的焦点。以往的研究对沉积过程的分析较少,这可能是存在争论的原因之一。【方法】结合沉积学与地球化学研究方法,在分析层序地层学和沉积环境的基础上,详细开展元素地球化学研究,讨论富有机岩沉积有机质富集机理。【结果】四川盆地北部和鄂西盆地上二叠统吴家坪组自下而上分为吴一段、吴二段和吴三段,大隆组自下而上分为大一段和大二段。吴家坪组至大隆组自下而上总共分为五个三级层序SQ1~SQ5。由层序地层学分析将广利海槽和鄂西海槽的发展分为四个阶段,分别为初始、快速发展、高潮稳定和萎缩阶段。初始阶段主要发育SQ2时期斜坡相暗色硅质灰岩,快速发展阶段主要发育SQ3时期陆棚相钙质页岩,高潮稳定阶段主要发育SQ4时期盆地相黑色硅质岩,萎缩阶段主要发育SQ5时期斜坡相石灰岩。含异常高有机质的甜点段主要形成于SQ3高位域至SQ5海侵域沉积期,在该时期Fe、Cu、Ni和Zn营养元素周期性富集,Mo、V、Fe/Al和S等氧化还原敏感元素均表现为较高的水平,热液强度参数Al/(Al+Fe+Mn)和Al-Fe-Mn三角图均指示频繁的热液活动特征。【结论】在甜点段,高营养元素含量和初级生产力水平的出现早于强还原条件,说明沉积水体的氧化还原条件主要受控于沉积有机质沉降埋藏过程中对氧的消耗,有机质的富集主要受较高初级生产力的控制。营养物质P、Si、Fe、Zn的供应主要与裂陷槽形成过程中深部热液活动和周围火山活动有关,这些构造活动周期性带来大量营养物质提高了初级生产力水平。因此海洋表层高的初级生产力水平是甜点段异常高有机质富集的启动和基础条件,而海洋底部水体较强的还原环境是有机质埋藏和保存的关键因素。

Childhood Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma: A Case report

Background: Thyroid cancer is a rare disease yet the most common endocrine malignancy in pediatrics. Unlike adult patients, children with thyroid nodules typically don’t complain of pain, soreness, or difficulty swallowing. Additionally, using the recommended therapy for adults to treat paediatrics is not appropriate. There is an unmet need for updated unique guidelines for the management of papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) in paediatrics and adolescents. Case report: A 12-year-old girl had an atypical presentation of metastatic PTC in lymph nodes. She was treated initially with hemi-thyroidectomy, followed by total thyroidectomy. A multidisciplinary team followed her up till successful results were found. Conclusion: Due to the difference in pathophysiology between thyroid tumors in children and adults, a unique approach to PTC management is to be implemented. Further trials are required for a better understanding of risk factors, the likelihood of recurrence, and the long-term side effects of the chosen management plan.
