Occurrence characteristics and enrichment regularity of indium in pyrite: A case study of Dachang tin ore-field

To reveal the occurrence state and enrichment regularity of the dispersed element indium in pyrite, the petrology,mineralogy, geochemistry, and mineral physics were researched detailedly. The results suggest that the structure of pyrite is mainlycomposed of massive structure, disseminated structure, vein structure, reticular structure, comb structure and so on. Generally, thepyrite coexists with sphalerite, marmatite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, galena, and arsenopyrite. And the texture of pyrite primarilyconsists of the metasomatic texture, solid solution texture, idiomorphic?hypidiomorphic granular texture, and disseminated *** content of indium in pyrite ranges from 0.491×10?6 to 65.1×10?6 with an average value of 14.38×10?6. Yet, the indium content inthe Gaofeng deposit is higher than that in the Dafulou and Tongkeng deposit, showing a particularly significant supernormalenrichment. Besides, the cadmium content in pyrite is also higher than other dispersed elements, and similarly the abnormalenrichment of cadmium in the Gaofeng deposit is also very significant. An obvious positive correlation exists between In and Cd, orTl, but a negative correlation between In and Re. It is difficult to find out a positive or negative correlation between In and Ga. Theelement zinc is of great importance to the enrichment of indium, which can possibly facilitate to the migration and crystallization of dispersed element indium.

tin inclusions observed in an ingot produced by electroslag remelting （ESR） are extremely harmful to GCrl5SiMn steel. Therefore, accurate predictions of the growth size of these inclusions during steel solidification are significant for clean ESR ingot production. On the basis of our previous work, a coupled model of solute microsegregation and tin inclusion growth during solidification has been established. The results demonstrate that compared to a non-coupled model, the coupled model predictions of the size of tin inclusions are in good agreement with experimental results using scanning electron microscopy with energy disperse spectroscopy （SEM-EDS）. Because of high cooling rate, the sizes of tin inclusions in the edge area of the ingots are relatively small compared to the sizes in the center area. During the ESR process, controlling the content of Ti in the steel is a feasible and effective method of decreasing the sizes of tin inclusions.

AIM: To develop a new type of calibrated, biodegradable, and imaging detectable microsphere and evaluated its embolization safety and efficacy on pig's liver and spleen. METHODS: Six kinds of pharmaceutical excipient were combined and atomized to form our microsphere. Twenty-four male Lanyu pigs weighing 25-30 kg were used. The arteries of spleen and liver were embolized with Gelfoam, Embosphere, or our microsphere. The serum biochemical tests, computed tomography(CT), liver perfusion scan, and tissue microscopy examination were done to evaluate the safety and efficacy of embolization. RESULTS: Radiopaque microspheres with a size ranging from 300 to 400 μm were produced. Embolization of hepatic and splenic artery of pigs with our microsphere significantly reduced the blood flow of liver and resulted in splenic infarction. The follow-up CT imaging and the microscopic examination showed intraarterial degradation of Gelfoam and microsphere. The blood testsdemonstrated insignificant changes with regards to liver and renal functions. CONCLUSION: Our microspheres, with the unique characteristics, can be used for transcatheter arterial embolization with effects equivalent to or better than Gelfoam and Embosphere in pigs.

Influence of Transparent Anode on Luminescent Performance of Near-infrared Organic Light-emitting Diodes

The optical transmission（200--2000 nm）, sheet resistance and work functions of indium-tin oxide（ITO）（100 Ω/）, ITO（12 Ω/）, zinc-oxide（ZnO）, aluminum-doped ZnO（AZO） and polyaniline（PANI） films were investigated. Near-infrared organic light-emitting diodes（NIR-OLEDs） emitting around 1.54 μm based on Er（DBM）3Phen with ITO（100 Ω/）, ITO（12 Ω/） and PANI as anodes, respectively, were fabricated. The device structure was anode/4＂-tris（N-3-methylphenyl-N-phenyl-amino）-triphenylamine（m-MTDATA）/ N,N＇-di-l-naphthyl- N,N＇-diphenylbenzidine（NPB）/Er（DBM）3Phen/tris-（8-hydroxyquinoline） aluminum（Alq3）/A1. The results suggest that the performance of NIR-OLEDs with ITO（100 Ω/）, which has a lower Sn content, as anodes appear to be better than that of NIR-OLEDs with ITO（12 Ω/） and PANI as anodes, respectively. The high N1R transmittance of ITO（100 Ω/） is a major reason for the relatively high NIR EL efficiency. The more balanced holes and electrons in the device based on ITO（100 Ω/） are another reasons.

The structural, mechanical, electronic, and bonding properties and phase transition of NaZnSb are explored using the generalized gradient approximation based on ab initio plane-wave pseudopotential density functional theory. With the help of the quasi-harmonic Debye model, we probe the Griineisen parameter, thermal expansivity, heat capacity, Debye temperature, and entropy of NaZnSb in tile tetragonal phase. The results indicate that the lattice constants and the bulk modulus and its first pressure derivative agree well with the available theoretical and experimental data. NaZnSb in its ground state structure exhibits a distinct energy gap of about 0.41 eV, which increases with increasing pressure. Our conclusions are consistent with the theoretical predictions obtained by the ABINIT package, but are different from those obtained through the tight-binding linear muffin-tin orbital method. As a result, further experimental and theoretical researches need to be carried out. For the purpose of providing a comparative and complementary study for future research, we first investigate the thermodynamic properties of NaZnSb.

Honeycomb composite films were prepared by breath figure method via a straightforward,one-step process by doping complex containing Eu or Sn into polystyrene-b-poly(acrylic acid) *** key influencing factors,such as the concentration of the block polymer solution,the relative humidity of the environment and the amount of complexes,were investigated to control micropore size and tune film surface *** characteristics of the composite films were studied by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),atomic force microscopy(AFM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),ultraviolet and emission *** indicate that composite films containing Eu have excellent optical performance,and micro-patterned bowl-like SnO_(2) microparticles could be fabricated from composite films containing Sn after being calcined at 600℃ for 5 *** general approach for the fabrication of honeycomb composite films opens a convenient and effective route to the functional modification of honeycomb films and offers new prospects for the application in miniaturized sensors,micro-reactor and catalysis.

This paper presents the studying results of the sodium ion sensor device based on the SnO_2/ITO glass structure in the detection of rinsing solution for contact *** selective membrane contains poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC),bis (2-ethylhexyl) sebacate (DOS),(12-crown-4) methylmalonate (B12C4),and sodium tetrakis (4-fluoropbenyl) borate dehydrate (NaTFBD). The final weight ratios are PVC:DOS:B12C4:NaTFBD=33:66:2:*** this condition,the sensor has performances with linear sensitivity,short response time,good repeatability and *** sensor was used to measure the rinsing solution for the contact *** the experimental results show close to the accurate value for four commercial products,this sensor can preliminary be used in detecting the rinsing solution for the contact *** this structure and sodium-sensing membrane to construct the sodium sensor is proven successfully in this application.

The control of crystal growth is important but challenging for multi-disciplinary *** phosphorus,the most stable phosphorus allotrope,has recently been produced as a unique semiconducting layered *** crystal orientation and morphology bring extra performance due to its unique structure and ***,the layered violet phosphorus has been controlled to grow along the c-axis to give tunable length up to centimeters with the assistance of tin,while the reported flat bulk ones with thickness are limited to *** as-produced needle-shaped violet phosphorus has also been demonstrated to significantly enhance the photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange pollutants due to its special crystallographic *** 98.6%of methyl orange pollutants with a concentration of 50 ppm were degraded within 80 min under visible light conditions by needle-shaped violet phosphorus,which is much more effective than that of amorphous red phosphorus with only 14.1%degradation.

Heterovalent-metal doping is an efficient tool to tune the optoelectronic properties of the famous halide *** studies have focused on the heterovalent-doping in three-dimensional(3D) halide ***, there is a lack of such doping in two-dimensional perovskites which possess unique optoelectronic properties and improved chemical stability as compared to 3D ***, we present successful doping of Bismuth into the lattice of lead-free, two-dimensional perovskite PEA2SnBr4 single *** characterizations demonstrate that the doped crystals possess identical crystal structure and layered morphology with the pristine ***, we find the PL peak and spectral shape can be tailored by tuning the concentration of Bi *** transient absorption spectroscopy is performed to understand the underlying mechanism related to tunable PL behaviors, and a clear picture of the Bismuth-doping impact is provided.
