Epiphytic orchids exhibit varying degrees of phorophyte tree *** orchid species show a strong phorophyte preference,while other species associate with a broad range of tree *** trees that carry epiphytic orchids play a crucial role in orchid life cycle,little is known about this phorophyte-epiphyte *** performed a pilot study to investigate why epiphytic orchids prefer or avoid certain *** question becomes more puzzling when the preferred trees differ among epiphytes that seem to mutually exclude each other,within the same *** this reason,we selected two orchid species,Panisea uniflora and Bulbophyllum odoratissimum co-occurring in a forest habitat in southern China,where they showed a specific association with Quercus yiwuensis and Pistacia weinmannifolia trees,*** analysed a number of environmental factors potentially influencing the relationship between orchids and trees,including bark and orchid root fungal *** in bark features,such as water holding capacity and pH were recorded between *** and ***,which could influence both orchid seed germination and fungal diversity on the two *** and molecular culture-based methods,combined with metabarcoding analyses,were used to assess fungal communities associated with studied orchids and trees.A total of 162 fungal species in 74 genera were isolated from bark *** two genera,Acremonium and Verticillium,were shared by the two phorophyte *** analysis confirmed the presence of significantly different fungal communities on the investigated tree and orchid species,with considerable similarity between each orchid species and its host tree,suggesting that the orchid-host tree association is influenced by the fungal communities of the host tree bark.

越来越多的证据表明,白云鄂博超大型稀土矿床与区内分布的火成碳酸岩有密切的成因联系,因此精确约束碳酸岩的侵位时代对研究成矿历史和机制非常关键.然而,由于后期复杂的热液叠加影响,以往的年代学研究结果大多得到后期扰动事件的年龄,而对碳酸岩岩浆活动的启动时间的制约则比较缺乏.为重建白云鄂博碳酸岩型稀土矿的岩浆—热液成矿历史,我们利用SHRIMP离子探针对一号碳酸岩墙(吴氏岩墙)及其蚀变围岩样品开展了薄片原位独居石Th-Pb年代学研究.碳酸岩中最老的独居石记录了其侵入时代1401±39 Ma (MSWD=0.57,n=7),这是首次从白云鄂博的独居石得到碳酸岩初始岩浆年龄,证实白云鄂博碳酸岩可能代表了华北克拉通从nuna超大陆裂解过程中早期岩浆作用产物.同时,碳酸岩和霓长岩化围岩中的独居石还获得了格林威尔期到加里东期的一系列年龄数据,反映了后期构造热事件的叠加—扰动记录.尤其是,本研究识别出泛非期构造事件的独居石年代学记录(529±17 Ma,MSWD=1.01,n=6)并对其地质意义进行了初步探讨.本文的研究结果和认识为理解白云鄂博碳酸岩型稀土矿的岩浆-热液历史及成矿构造动力学背景提供了新的关键证据,所采用的研究方法对解决类似碳酸岩和稀土矿的年代学问题具有启示意义.

The Mesozoic of Western Scandinavia and East Greenland

Thick Mesozoic sediments are found offshore norway and Denmark, and Mesozoic rocks are present and well exposed in Denmark, along the coast of East Greenland and on the arctic islands of Svalbard. During the Mesozoic, Scandinavia and Greenland were subject to major extension in the Late Permian-Early Triassic and Late Jurassic-Early Cretaceous, prior to Ceno-zoic opening of the north Atlantic. Deep basins developed along the rift zones of the north Sea and between East Greenland and norway, and were filled with sediments derived from mainland Scandinavia and Greenland. The marginal areas bordering the rift zones suffered less subsidence, as did the epicontinental Barents Sea.

Low risk of postoperative ulnar nerve affection in surgically treated distal humeral fractures when the nerve is released in situ

This chapter provides a lithostratigraphic correlation and the present knowledge of the depositional history of the Tertiary succession of the Scandinavian countries. The succession records an initial phase of carbonate deposition in the early Paleocene. This was succeeded by deposition of deep marine clays with intercalation of sand-rich mass flow deposits during most of the Paleocene and Eocene. Volcanic activity in the north Atlantic was extensive at the transition from the Paleocene to the Eocene resulting in widespread sedimentation of ash-rich layers in the north Sea area. During the Oligocene, the first prograding deltaic complex developed, sourced from the Fennoscandian Shield. Late Oligocene-Early Miocene inversion and uplift of norway and the Shetland Platform resulted in major progradation of coastal and delta plain systems. At the end of the Tertiary most of the north Sea basin was filled and the Fennoscandian Shield was flanked to the west by a broad, coalesced coastal plain.

The influence of habitat heterogeneity and latitude on gamma diversity of the nearctic Simuliidae, a ubiquitous group of stream-dwelling insects

Among the most prominent, large-scale patterns of species richness are the increases in richness with decreasing latitude and with increasing habitat heterogeneity. Using the stream-dwelling larval and pupal stages of north American black flies （Diptera： Simuliidae）, we address 3 broad questions about species richness：（i） Does a significant latitude-richness relationship exist？（ii） How does habitat heterogeneity influence gamma diversity？（iii） What is the sign （positive or negative） of the latitude-richness and the heterogeneity-richness relationships？ We found no evidence that habitat heterogeneity influences gamma diversity. The estimated peak species richness for black flies in north America was at 50-53°n, which also corresponds with peak generic richness. All plesiomorphic, extant lineages of the Simuliidae in the Western Hemisphere are found in cool mountainous environments of north America, suggesting that peak richness at 50-53°n might be a signature of this phylogenetic pattern and a reflection of underlying historical processes

A new model of the L–H transition and H-mode power threshold

In order to understand the mechanism of the confinement bifurcation and H-mode power threshold in magnetically confined plasma,a new dynamical model of the L-H transition based on edge instability phase transition（EIPT） has been *** the typical plasma parameters of the EAST tokamak,the self-consistent turbulence growth rate is analyzed using the simplest case of pressure-driven ballooning-type instability,which indicates that the L-H transition can be caused by the stabilization of the edge instability through *** weak E？×？B flow shear in L-mode is able to increase the ion inertia of the electrostatic motion by increasing the radial wave number of the tilted turbulence structures,which play an important role for accelerating the trigger process of EIPT rather than directly to suppress the turbulent *** the acceleration mechanism of E？×？B flow shear,fast L-H and H-L transitions are demonstrated under the control of the input heating *** to the simplified scrape-offlayer boundary condition applied,the ratio between the heating powers at the H-L and L-H transition respectively differs from the ratio by nusselt *** results of the modeling reveal a scaling of the power threshold of the L-H transition,P_（L-H）？∝？n^（0.76） B^（0.8） for deuterium *** is found finite Larmor radius induces an isotope effect of the H-mode power threshold.
