This study presents an investigation of the impact of the quasi-stationary voltage support provided by a voltage source converter(VsC)connected to a single point of a power *** on the directional derivative concept,an analytical method is developed to quantify the sensitivities of the AC bus voltage with respect to the VsC reactive power control *** on a real case study,it is shown that the method applies to VsC units that are part of VsC-HVDC systems,which can operate in a point-to-point or multi-terminal ***-domain simulations are performed to verify the findings from the application of the analytical method on a reduced size power system.

solid polymer electrolytes based on chitosan and europium triflate were prepared by solvent casting and characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy （sEM）, atomic force microscopy （AFM）, and photoluminescence spectroscopy. The X-ray diffraction exhibited that the samples were essentially amorphous with organized regions over the whole range of the salt content studied. The AFM analysis demonstrated that the smoother sample had roughness of 4.39 nm. surface visualization through sEM revealed good homogeneity without any phase separation for more conductive samples and the less conductive showed some im- perfections on the surface. The emission and excitation spectra displayed the characteristic bands of Eu（CF3sO3）3 in addition to broad bands corresponding to the polymer host. The excited state 5D0 lifetime values ranged from 0.29-0.37 ms for the studied samples.

Human T-cell lymphotropic virus type 1(HTLV-1)is associated with the development of HTLV-1-associated myelopathy/tropical spastic paraparesis(HAM/TsP).It has been reported that the HTLV-1 proteins(specifically TAX and HBZ)can modulate FOXp3,resulting in an immune imbalance that can favor the progression of HAM/*** review aims to summarize the literature in order to clarify the relationship between the expression of HTLV-1 m RNAs and/or viral proteins(TAX and HBZ)with the expression of mRNA and/or protein FOXp3 and their correlation with HAM/TsP *** systematic review was conducted according to the recommendations of the Preferred Reporting Items for systematic Reviews and *** search strategy was performed on the Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval system Online and Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health sciences Platform using subject *** screening,six articles were included in this *** studies suggested that TAX and HBZ have a directly proportional correlation with FOXp3 in individuals with HAM/TsP,which also presented an increased expression of FOXp3 compared to asymptomatic controls and/or healthy *** systematic review indicates that TAX and HBZ can interact with FOXp3 and that interaction may influence HAM/TsP development.

Providing nest-boxes as surrogate tree cavities can be of great importance to increase the breeding populations of cavity-nesting birds in managed ***,the exact placement of nest-boxes should be taken into consideration to enhance their occupancy according to species-specific *** this study,we investigated which factors can better predict nest-box occupancy by the Great Tit(Parus major)in eucalypt *** used generalised linear mixed-effects models to analyse the influence of topography,nest-box positioning,vegetation cover and landscape variables on three-year occupancy records from 80 newly provided ***-random patterns of nest-box occupancy were found with respect to all categories except *** suggest that Great Tits prefer to occupy high-placed nest-boxes,close to areas that can provide them with supplementary resources either within or in the vicinity of the stand(i.e.,trees other than eucalypts,riparian vegetation,and large patches of adjacent habitats).Overall,this study provides important recommendations for nest-box placement and spatial distribution in managed forests and enhances the potential of nest-box interventions as a biodiversity offset and management tool.

We aimed to compare Gleason score and tumor laterality between transrectal ultrasound-guided biopsy of the prostate （TRUsBX） and radical prostatectomy （RP）. some factors that could cause a discrepancy in results between these two procedures were also evaluated. Among the 318 cases reviewed, 191 cases were selected for inclusion in this comparative study, We divided the patients into two groups using the Gleason score： an intermediate/high-grade group （≥7） and a low-grade group （〈6）. Exploratory analyses were conducted for comparisons between groups. We also performed comparisons between TRUsBX and RP for tumor laterality. TRUsBX overestimated 6% and underestimated 24% cases in comparison with RP for Gleason score, and overestimated 2.6% and underestimated 46% cases compared with RP for tumor laterality. Biopsy specimens were slightly smaller in TRUsBX cases with underestimated tumor laterality （P〈 0.05）, and no relationship between the biopsy specimen size and underestimated Gleason score in TRUsBX was found. Prostatic volume showed no statistical correlation with the likelihood of under or overestimation （P 〉 0.05）. Thus, our study showed that TRUsBX has a high likelihood of underestimating both the Gleason score and tumor laterality in prostate cancer （PCa）. The size of the fragment appears to be an important factor influencing the likelihood of laterality underestimation and Gleason score overestimation via TRUsBX. Due to the high likelihood of underestimation of the Gleason score and tumor laterality by 12-core prostate biopsy, we conclude that this type of biopsy should not be used alone to guide therapy in Pca.

A multilayer film,composed by ZrN‒Ag(20 nm)and Mo‒s‒N(10 nm)layers,combining the intrinsic lubricant characteristics of each layer was deposited using DC magnetron sputtering system,to promote lubrication in a wide-range of *** results showed that the ZrN‒Ag/Mo‒s‒N multilayer film exhibited a sharp interface between the different layers.A face-centered cubic(fcc)dual-phases of ZrN and Ag co-existed in the ZrN‒Ag layers,whilst the Mo‒s‒N layers displayed a mixture of hexagonal close-packed Mos_(2)(hcp-Mos_(2))nano-particles and an amorphous *** multilayer film exhibited excellent room temperature(RT)triblogical behavior,as compared to the individual monolayer film,due to the combination of a relative high hardness with the low friction properties of both *** reorientation of Mos_(2)parallel to the sliding direction also contributed to the enhanced anti-frictional performance at *** 400℃,the reorientation of Mos_(2)as well as the formation of MoO_(3)phase were responsible for the lubrication,whilst the hard t-ZrO_(2)phase promoted abrasion and,consequently,led to increasing wear *** 600℃,the Ag_(2)MoO_(4)double-metal oxide was the responsible for the low friction and wear-resistance;furthermore,the observed transformation from t-ZrO_(2)to m-ZrO_(2),could also have contributed to the better tribological performance.
