BACKGROUND Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs) have been widely tested for their therapeutic efficacy in the ischemic brain and have been shown to provide several benefits. A major obstacle to the clinical translation of these therapies has been the inability to noninvasively monitor the best route, cell doses, and collateral effects while ensuring the survival and effective biological functioning of the transplanted stem cells. Technological advances in multimodal imaging have allowed in vivo monitoring of the biodistribution and viability of transplanted stem cells due to a combination of imaging technologies associated with multimodal nanoparticles(MNPs) using new labels and covers to achieve low toxicity and longtime residence in *** To evaluate the sensitivity of triple-modal imaging of stem cells labeled with MNPs and applied in a stroke *** After the isolation and immunophenotypic characterization of human bonemarrow MSCs(hBM-MSCs), our team carried out lentiviral transduction of these cells for the evaluation of bioluminescent images(BLIs) in vitro and in vivo. In addition, MNPs that were previously characterized(regarding hydrodynamic size, zeta potential, and optical properties), and were used to label these cells,analyze cell viability via the 3-[4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl]-2,5 diphenyl tetrazolium bromide assay and BLI analysis, and quantify the internalization process and iron load in different concentrations of MNPs via magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),near-infrared fluorescence(NIRF), and inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry(ICP-MS). In in vivo analyses, the same labeled cells were implanted in a sham group and a stroke group at different times and under different MNP concentrations(after 4 h or 6 d of cell implantation) to evaluate the sensitivity of triple-modal *** hBM-MSC collection and isolation after immunophenotypic characterization were demonstrated to be adequate in hBM samples. Objective:To investigate the isolation of enterobacteria associated with Macrobrachium amazonicum(***) farming and evaluate the in vitro antimicrobial susceptibility of Vibrio ***:Strains were isolated from female *** prawns and environmental and hatchery *** assays were used to identify bacterial genera and those belonging to the genus Vibrio were submitted to further analyses for species identification,through Vitek 2 automated system and *** test was performed according to Clinical Laboratory Standards ***:The following genera of enlerobacteria were recovered:Enterobacter(n=11),Citrobacter(n=10),Proteus(n=2),Serratia(n=2),Kluyvera(n=2),Providencia(n=2),Cedecea(n=1),Escherichia(n=1).Edwardsiella(n=1) and BulliauxeUa(n=1).As for Vibrio,three species were identified:Vibrio cholerae non-O1/non-O139(n=4).Vibrio vulnificus(***)(n=1) and Vibrio mimicus(n=1).Vibrio *** minimum inhibitory concentrations values within the susceptibility range established by Clinical Laboratory Standards Institute for almost all antibiotics,except for ***,which presented intermediate profile to ***:Enterobacteria do not seem to be the most important pathogens associated with *** farming,whereas the recovery of Vibrio *** larviculture,with emphasis on Vibrio cholerae and ***,deserves special attention due to their role as potentially zoonotic aquaculture-associated ***,the intermediate susceptibility of *** to ampicillin reflects the importance of monitoring drug use in prawn farming.

In this paper,we investigated the profitability of technical analysis as applied to the stock markets of the BRICS member *** addition,we searched for evidence that technical analysis and fundamental analysis can complement each other in these *** implement this research,we created a comprehensive portfolio containing the assets traded in the markets of each BRICS *** developed an automated trading system that simulated transactions in this portfolio using technical analysis *** assessment updated the findings of previous research by including more recent data and adding South Africa,the latest member included in *** results showed that the returns obtained by the automated system,on average,exceeded the value *** were groups of assets from each country that performed well above the portfolio average,surpassing the returns obtained using a buy and hold *** returns from the sample portfolio were very strong in Russia and *** also found that technical analysis can help fundamental analysis identify the most dynamic companies in the stock market.

The copolymer poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolide) is one of the most interesting polymers for medical applications. This interest is justified by the fact that it is bioreabsorbable, biocompatible and non-toxic, while its degradation kinetics can be modified by the copolymerization ratio of the monomers. In this study, copolymers were synthesised at 175?C by opening the rings of the cyclic dimers of the D,L-lactide and glycolide monomers in the presence of stannous octoate initiator and lauryl alcohol co-initiator. The application of vacuum to the reaction medium, coupled with adequate stirring, is essential for obtaining good results. The following analytical techniques were used to characterise the synthesised copolymers: Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Thermogravimetry (TG), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (NMR) and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). Both the input monomers and the reaction products were analysed. Important characteristics, such as melting temperature, glass transition temperature, thermal stability, chemical composition and the ratio of the monomers in the synthesised copolymer, were obtained from these analyses. These results helped to infer the absence of residual monomers in the synthesised copolymers.

Moringa oleifera Lam(Moringaceae) is a plant with high nutritional and medicinal value. Native to India, it is now widely distributed throughout tropical and subtropical regions of the world. Its different parts are sources of proteins, vitamins and minerals and present different pharmacological and biotechnological potential. Moreover, M. oleifera seeds are widely used in water and effluent treatment, for their coagulation, flocculation and sedimentation properties, their ability of improving water quality, by reducing organic matter and microbial load, with special applicability in intensive animal production systems, such as aquaculture. In addition, due to its high nutritional value and several medicinal properties, this tree may act as a nutritional and medical alternative for socially neglected populations. In this context, this review gathers information on M. oleifera, emphasizing its chemical constituents, nutritional, pharmacological and antimicrobial properties, applications in the treatment of water effluents, and ecological and social aspects.

Brazilian biomes are home to a significant portion of the world’s biodiversity,with a total of 14%of existing species and still concentrate 20%of the world’s water ***,changes in biomes have a direct impact on rainfall patterns and water *** on this,the objective was to evaluate the variability of rainfall in the four existing biomes in the Northeast Brazil(NEB)and their interaction with the ENSO climate variability mode and regional scale meteorological systems via CHELSA *** this,monthly rainfall data were used from 1979 to 2013,with a spatial resolution of 1 km×1 km of the CHELSA product,and seasonal and annual rainfall patterns were extracted via *** was found that the rainy season in the Amazon,Caatinga and Cerrado biomes occurred between January and April,with varying intensities,except for the Atlantic *** seasonality patterns are associated with the NEB meteorological systems,with emphasis on ITCZ(all Biomes),UTCV(Amazon,Caatinga and Cerrado),Frontal Systems(extreme south of Caatinga,Cerrado and Atlantic Forest)and EWD/TWD in the(Atlantic Forest).In the inter-annual scale,the remarkable influence of ENSO was verified,mainly in the years 1983,1985,1989,1993,1998,2009 and *** is noteworthy that 1985 was the wettest year of the period,with a surplus in all biomes,while the driest year differs between the Amazon(1983),Atlantic Forest and Caatinga(1993)and Cerrado(2012)*** study via orbital product in NEB showed that anthropogenic processes and natural variability interfere with the forms of rain interception in the biomes and hence in rainfall patterns and water recycling in NEB.
