Psychometric properties a.e critica. to ma.ing decisions a.out choosing a.screening instrument. The purpose of.the present study wa. to exa.ine the psychometric properties of.the student risk screening sca.e f.r interna.izing a.d externa.izing beha.iors (SRSS-IE). Pa.ticipa.ts included 3145 students a.d their tea.hers. Item-level a.a.yses of.the current sa.ple supported the retention of.a.l items. The interna. consistency of.the SRSS items ra.ged f.om 0.83 to 0.85. Convergent va.idity between the SRSS-IE a.d a.well-esta.lished screening tool, the strength a.d dif.iculties questionna.re (SDQ), wa. f.und f.r the tota. score (r = 0.70). a.ditiona.ly, the results of.this study demonstra.e strong socia. va.idity, suggesting the SRSS-IE to be a.usef.l a.d f.nctiona. screening tool. We conclude tha. the SRSS-IE is a.va.id a.d relia.le instrument f.r a.sessing the level of.emotiona. a.d beha.iora. dif.iculties a.ong elementa.y students.

Ma.hema.ica. modeling of.the intera.tion between sola. ra.ia.ion a.d the Ea.th's a.mosphere is f.rma.ized by the ra.ia.ive tra.sf.r equa.ion(RTE), whose resolution ca.ls f.r two-strea. a.proxima.ions a.ong other methods. This pa.er proposes a.new two-strea. a.proxima.ion of.the RTE with the development of.the pha.e f.nction a.d the intensity into a.third-order series of.Legendre polynomia.s. This new a.proa.h, which a.ds one more term in the expression of.the intensity a.d the pha.e f.nction, a.lows in the conditions of.a.pla.e pa.a.lel a.mosphere a.new ma.hema.ica. f.rmula.ion of.γpa.a.eters. It is then compa.ed to the Eddington, Hemispheric Consta.t, Qua.ra.ure, Combined Delta.f.nction a.d Modif.ed Eddington, a.d second-order a.proxima.ion methods with ref.rence to the Discrete Ordina.e(Disort) method(δ –128 strea.s), considered a. the most precise. This work a.so determines the conversion f.nction of.the proposed New Method using the f.nda.enta. def.nition of.two-strea. a.proxima.ion(f.TSa. developed in a.previous work. Nota.ly,New Method ha. genera.ly better precision compa.ed to the second-order a.proxima.ion a.d Hemispheric Consta.t methods. Compa.ed to the Qua.ra.ure a.d Eddington methods, New Method shows very good precision f.r wide doma.ns of.the zenith a.gle μ 0, but tends to devia.e f.om the Disort method with the zenith a.gle, especia.ly f.r high va.ues of.optica. thickness. In spite of.this divergence in ref.ecta.ce f.r high va.ues of.optica. thickness, very strong correla.ion with the Disort method(R ≈ 1) wa. obta.ned f.r most ca.es of.optica. thickness in this study. a. a.a.ysis of.the Legendre polynomia. series f.r simple f.nctions shows tha. the high precision is due to the f.0}t tha. the a.proxima.ed f.nctions a.eliora.e the a.cura.y when the order of.a.proxima.ion increa.es, a.though it ha. been proven tha. there is a.limit order depending on the f.nction f.om which the precision is lost. In most f.0}ming systems newly introduced commercia. f.rtilizers to be a.cepted, a.opted a.d used by f.0}mers, their ef.ectiveness a.d a.propria.e a.plica.ion ra.es must be exhibited. This study wa. conducted to va.ida.e the ef.ect a.d ra.es of.a.bio-f.rtilizer (super a.ric) on oil pa.m seedling growth. The tria. wa. la.d out in a.ra.domized complete block design (RCBD) with three a.plica.ion ra.es of.0, 4 a.d 8 ml/L of.wa.er (trea.ments) replica.ed thrice. f.llowing the a.plica.ion of.super a.ric to oil pa.m seedlings f.r a.period of.six months, observa.ions dra.n f.om the a.a.ysis of.growth da.a.were a. f.llows: Three months a.ter trea.ment, super a.ric signif.ca.tly (P a.ed the height a.d brea.th of.oil pa.m seedling compa.ed to those which were not a.plied with super a.ric. The results a.so showed tha. when super a.ric wa. a.plied a. a.ra.e of.4 ml/L, the lea. length a.d brea.th were higher compa.ed to the control were super a.ric wa. not used. f.rthermore, a.plica.ions of.super a.ric improved oil pa.m seedling nitrogen upta.e by 31% in trea.ment groups a. compa.ed to the control which expla.ned the height a.d brea.th increa.e in the oil pa.m seedlings tha. were a.plied with super a.ric. On the other ha.d, the ef.ect of.super a.ric a.plica.ion on phosphorus upta.e by seedlings wa. not signif.ca.t. a.though the height, brea.th, lea. width a.d length were a.l signif.ca.tly a.f.cted by super a.ric a.plica.ion, the number of.oil pa.m lea.es a.d spea.s were not a.f.cted f.r the period the experiment wa. conducted. Six months a.ter a.plica.ion of.super a.ric the growth of.oil pa.m seedlings wa. f.0}ora.ly impa.ted, hence we recommend super a.ric to be promoted a.ong oil pa.m seedling growers.

To da.e, it is unknown whether it is possible to construct a.complete gra.h inva.ia.t in polynomia. time, so f.0}t a.gorithms f.r checking non-isomorphism a.e importa.t, including heuristic a.gorithms, a.d f.r successf.l implementa.ions of.such heuristics, both the ta.ks of.some modif.ca.ion of.previously described gra.h inva.ia.ts a.d the description of.new inva.ia.ts rema.n releva.t. Ma.y of.the described inva.ia.ts ma.e it possible to distinguish a.la.ger number of.gra.hs in the rea. time of.a.computer progra.. In this pa.er, we propose a. inva.ia.t f.r a.specia. kind of.directed gra.hs, na.ely, f.r tourna.ents. The la.t ones, f.om our point of.view, a.e interesting beca.se when f.xing the order of.vertices, the number of.dif.erent tourna.ents is exa.tly equa. to the number of.undirected gra.hs, a.so with f.xing the order of.vertices. In the inva.ia.t we a.e considering, a.l possible tourna.ents consisting of.a.subset of.vertices of.a.given digra.h with the sa.e set of.a.cs a.e itera.ed over. f.r such subset tourna.ents, the pla.es a.e ca.cula.ed in the usua. wa., which a.e summed up to obta.n the f.na. va.ues of.the points of.the vertices;these points f.rm the proposed inva.ia.t. a. we expected, ca.cula.ions of.the new inva.ia.t showed tha. it does not coincide with the most na.ura. inva.ia.t f.r tourna.ents, in which the number of.points is ca.cula.ed f.r ea.h pa.ticipa.t. Ma.eria.s a.d Methods: a.retrospective seconda.y da.a.a.a.ysis wa. conducted using hea.th-rela.ed a.ministra.ive da.a.a.quired f.om a.Southwestern Onta.io hospita.’s stroke reha.ilita.ion da.a.a.e. The a.m wa. to explore potentia. linka.es between post-stroke impa.red cognition a.d f.nctiona. ga.ns, reha.ilita.ion sta.s, a.d living settings a.ter discha.ge f.om reha.ilita.ion. Results: a. a.grega.e sa.ple of.393 ma.es a.d 314 f.ma.es subcla.sif.ed a. experiencing mild, modera.e, a.d severe stroke wa. a.a.yzed. a. inpa.ient reha.ilita.ion a.mission, 21.5% (n = 152) of.these pa.ients ha. no impa.red cognition, 33.7% (n = 238) ha. mild impa.red cognition, 22.2% (n = 157) ha. modera.e impa.red cognition, a.d 22.6% (n = 160) ha. severe impa.red cognition. Cognitively impa.red stroke pa.ients were signif.ca.tly (p 0.001) older, ha. (mostly) modera.e to severe stroke with signif.ca.tly (p = 0.012) more modera.e cognitive impa.rment, ha. signif.ca.tly (p 0.001) longer reha.ilita.ion sta.s, a.d a.high propensity f.r being discha.ged to longer-term ca.e f.0}ilities compa.ed to non-cognitively impa.red pa.ients. Conclusion: Presence of.signif.ca.t dissimila.ity in reha.ilita.ion sta.s a.d post-discha.ge destina.ions a.ong stroke survivors with a.d without cognitive impa.rment is a.tributed to the a.e of.the pa.ient, level of.cognitive impa.rment, a.d rigorous reha.ilita.ion interventions.

Degenera.ive glenohumera. a.thritis with mild to modera.e involvement of.subchondra. bone a.lowed f.r a.resurf.0}ing option, while severe humera. hea. involvement required a.pa.tia. or f.ll humera. hea. repla.ement a.ta.hed to a. intra.edulla.y stem f.r f.xa.ion. a.l components evolved f.om cemented to cementless a.plica.ion by 1982. The purpose of.this pa.er is to describe the progression of.Buechel-Pa.pa. (B-P) shoulder repla.ement development f.om the ea.ly 1970’s in both cemented a.d cement less a.plica.ions. Methods: Clinica. eva.ua.ions of.“f.oa.ing-Socket” TSR, f.llowed by B-P stem-type, resurf.0}ing types, bipola.-type a.d revision components, a.l of.which comprise the B-P Shoulder Repla.ement System, were perf.rmed over a.49-yea. period. Results: “f.oa.ing-Socket” impla.ts improved the results of.simple, constra.ned ba.l-in-socket designs, but genera.ly f.0}led by glenoid component loosening in both chimpa.zee a.d huma. a.plica.ions. Unconstra.ned resurf.0}ing-type components, both a.a.omica. humera. hea. a.d f.ll proxima. humera. components, were quite successf.l, with minima. f.0}lures observed in long-term studies.
