The asymmetric hydrogenation of N-heteroarenes provides an efficient method for the synthesis of optically active cyclic secondary amines.In this paper,we described an asymmetric hydrogenation of phenanthridines using a chiral mono-alkene-derived borane.A variety of dihydrophenanthridines were furnished in high yields with up to 93%ee.The current catalytic system was very sensitive for the steric hindrance of phenanthridines.Bulky substituents at one phenyl group of phenanthridines were required to obtain the high enantioselectivity.But large substituents on the carbon of the C=N bonds would diminish the reactivity sharply.

electrochemical corrosion of AZ31 magnesium alloy in the NH_(4)^(+)-SO_(4)2−-Cl−environment is studied.effect of NH_(4)^(+)overshadows that of Cl−as the(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4) concentration is 0.005 M or higher,yielding an evolution from localized corrosion to uniform corrosion.Acceleration effect of NH_(4)^(+)can be attributed to that(i)NH_(4)^(+)dissolves the inner MgO and hinders the precipitation of Mg(OH)_(2) and(ii)the buffering ability of NH_(4)^(+)provides H+,enhances the hydrogen evolution,and expedites the corrosion process.The latter is demonstrated as the dominant factor with the results in unbuffered and buffered environments.The severe corrosion and hydrogen process in NH_(4)^(+)-containing solution results in a high Hads coverage and yields an inductive loop within the low frequency.Meanwhile,SO_(4)^(2−)is helpful in generating cracked but partially protective corrosion products,while Cl−could broaden the corrosion area beneath the corrosion product.

The behaviors of different inhibitors including their composition, size, distribution, coalescence and coarsening were experimentally studied. It was observed that during secondary recrystallization of the tested steel, the key inhibition effect was produced by Cu2S and AlN, but not MnS. With the increase of temperature, the size distributions of AlN and Cu2S were changed to some extent. However, significant changes in particle size were not observed. The initial temperature of abnormal growth was determined by measuring the evolution of particle sizes and their distribution density during heat treatment. AlN and Cu2S are the dominant inhibitors and both are necessary, which is verified by calculating the Zener factor.

Inspired by the fast,agile movements of insects,we present a 1.9 g,4.5 cm in length,piezoelectrically driven,quadrupedal microrobot.This microrobot uses a novel spatial parallel mechanism as its hip joint,which consists of two spatially orthogonal slider-crank linkages.This mechanism maps two inputs of two independent actuators to the decoupled swing and lift outputs of a leg,and each leg can produce the closed trajectories in the sagittal plane necessary for robot motion.Moreover,the kinematics of the transmission are analyzed,and the parameters of the flexure hinges are designed based on geometrical constraints and yield conditions.The hip joints,legs and exoskeletons are integrated into a five-layer standard laminate for monolithic fabrication which is composed of two layers of carbon fiber,two layers of acrylic adhesive and a polyimide film.The measured output force(15.97 mN)of each leg is enough to carry half of the robot’s weight,which is necessary for the robot to move successfully.It has been proven that the robot can successfully perform forward and turning motions.Compared to the microrobot fabricated with discrete components,the monolithically fabricated microrobot is more capable of maintaining the original direction of locomotion when driven by a forward signal and has a greater speed,whose maximum speed is 25.05 cm/s.

Aqueous Zn^(2+)-ion batteries(AZIBs),recognized for their high security,reliability,and cost efficiency,have garnered considerable attention.However,the prevalent issues of dendrite growth and parasitic reactions at the Zn electrode interface significantly impede their practical application.In this study,we introduced a ubiquitous biomolecule of phenylalanine(Phe)into the electrolyte as a multifunctional additive to improve the reversibility of the Zn anode.Leveraging its exceptional nucleophilic characteristics,Phe molecules tend to coordinate with Zn^(2+)ions for optimizing the solvation environment.Simultaneously,the distinctive lipophilicity of aromatic amino acids empowers Phe with a higher adsorption energy,enabling the construction of a multifunctional protective interphase.The hydrophobic benzene ring ligands act as cleaners for repelling H_(2)O molecules,while the hydrophilic hydroxyl and carboxyl groups attract Zn^(2+)ions for homogenizing Zn^(2+)flux.Moreover,the preferential reduction of Phe molecules prior to H_(2)O facilitates the in situ formation of an organic-inorganic hybrid solid electrolyte interphase,enhancing the interfacial stability of the Zn anode.Consequently,Zn||Zn cells display improved reversibility,achieving an extended cycle life of 5250 h.Additionally,Zn||LMO full cells exhibit enhanced cyclability of retaining 77.3%capacity after 300 cycles,demonstrating substantial potential in advancing the commercialization of AZIBs.

OBJeCTIVe:To explore the effect of electroacupuncture on skeletal muscle pain in Parkinson's disease(PD).MeTHODS:A single-center randomized controlled trial was conducted with sixty patients with Parkinson's disease with skeletal muscle pain were randomly divided into electroacupuncture group and sham acupuncture control group with 30 patients each.The electric acupuncture group was treated with electric acupuncture,while the control group was treated with Park needle pseudoacupuncture.Both groups were treated 5 times a week for a total of 4 weeks,and both groups completed 20 treatments.King's Parkinson's Pain Scale(KPPS)and visual analog scale(VAS)were used before and after treatment to evaluate the pain degree of patients.Realtime shear wave elastography(SWe)and modified Ashworth score(MAS)were used to evaluate the changes of muscle tone.Parkinson's comprehensive Score Scale(MDS-UPDRS,including UPDRS Ⅱ and UPDRS Ⅲ)was used to evaluate exercise ability.Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)score was used to evaluate the emotional changes of patients.Spearman correlation analysis was used to explore the correlation between pain degree and muscle tone,exercise ability and emotion.ReSULTS:During the study,one case fell off in the control group,and 30 cases were eventually included in the analysis and treatment group and 29 cases in the control group.After treatment,Young's modulus of biceps and quadriceps and shear wave velocity of biceps were decreased in electroacupuncture group compared with before treatment,while KPPS score,VAS score,UPDRS Ⅱ,UPDRS Ⅲ and modified Ashworth score were decreased,with statistical significance(Pere was no statistical significance in control group(P>0.05).After treatment,KPPS score,VAS score,UPDRS Ⅱ and UPDRS Ⅲ,MAS,HAMD score,Young's modulus of biceps and shear wave velocity in electroacupuncture group were significantly lower than those in control group(Pearman correlation analysis showed that KPPS score was positively correlated with UPDRS Ⅲ(r=0.414,Pe was

Objective This study explored the potentially modifiable factors for depression and major depressive disorder(MDD)from the MR-Base database and further evaluated the associations between drug targets with MDD.Methods We analyzed two-sample of Mendelian randomization(2SMR)using genetic variant depression(n=113,154)and MDD(n=208,811)from Genome-Wide Association Studies(GWAS).Separate calculations were performed with modifiable risk factors from MR-Base for 1,001 genomes.The MR analysis was performed by screening drug targets with MDD in the DrugBank database to explore the therapeutic targets for MDD.Inverse variance weighted(IVW),fixed-effect inverse variance weighted(Fe-IVW),MR-egger,weighted median,and weighted mode were used for complementary calculation.Results The potential causal relationship between modifiable risk factors and depression contained 459 results for depression and 424 for MDD.Also,the associations between drug targets and MDD showed that SLC6A4,GRIN2A,GRIN2C,SCN10A,and IL1B expression are associated with an increased risk of depression.In contrast,ADRB1,CHRNA3,HTR3A,GSTP1,and GABRG2 genes are candidate protective factors against depression.Conclusion This study identified the risk factors causally associated with depression and MDD,and estimated 10 drug targets with significant impact on MDD,providing essential information for formulating strategies to prevent and treat depression.

The liver is the central organ for digestion and detoxification and has unique metabolic and regenerative capacities.The hepatobiliary system originates from the foregut endoderm,in which cells undergo multiple events of cell proliferation,migration,and differentiation to form the liver parenchyma and ductal system under the hierarchical regulation of transcription factors.Studies on liver development and diseases have revealed that SRY-related high-mobility group box 9(SOx9)plays an important role in liver embryogenesis and the progression of hepatobiliary diseases.sox9 is not only a master regulator of cell fate determination and tissue morphogenesis,but also regulates various biological features of cancer,including cancer stemness,invasion,and drug resistance,making Sox9 a potential biomarker for tumor prognosis and progression.This review systematically summarizes the latest findings of sox9 in hepatobiliary development,homeostasis,and disease.We also highlight the value of sox9 as a novel biomarker and potential target for the clinical treatment of major liverdiseases.

The small brown planthopper(SBPH,Laodelphax striatellus)is a significant rice pest,responsible for transmitting rice stripe virus(RSV)in a persistent and propagative manner.RSV is one of the most detrimental rice viruses,causing rice stripe disease,which results in considerable loss of rice grain yield.While RNA interference and gene knockout techniques have enabled gene downregulation in SBPH,no system currently exists for the overexpression of endogenous or exogenous genes.Consequently,the development of a protein expression system for SBPH is imperative to serve as a technical foundation for pest control and gene function investigations.This study aimed to construct an expression vector using the promoter of the constitutive-expressed tubulin gene of SBPH,and promoter of human cytomegalovirus(CMV).Fluorescence experiments demonstrated that both tubulin and CMV promoter could drive green fluorescent protein(GFP)expression in SBPH,and could also facilitate the expression of a nucleocapsid protein(NP)-GFP fusion protein containing viral NP with comparable efficiency.Through expression vector optimization,we have identified that the 3 tandem CMV promoters display a significantly higher promoter activity compared with both the 2 tandem CMV promoters and the single CMV promoter.In addition,the incorporation of Star polycation nanoparticles significantly enhanced the expression efficiency in SBPH.These results provide a promising technical platform for investigating gene functions in SBPH.
