The existence and stability of stationary solutions for a reaction-diffusion-ODE system are investigated in this *** first show that there exist both continuous and discontinuous stationary *** a good understanding of the stability of discontinuous stationary solutions is gained under an appropriate *** addition,we demonstrate the influences of the diffusion coefficient on stationary *** results we obtained are based on the super-/sub-solution method and the generalized mountain pass ***,some numerical simulations are given to illustrate the theoretical results.

High-performance flexible pressure sensors provide comprehensive tactile perception and are applied in human activity monitoring,soft robotics,medical treatment,and human-computer ***,these flexible pressure sensors require extensive nano-architectural design and complicated manufacturing and are ***,a highly sensitive,flexible piezoresistive tactile sensor is designed and fabricated,consisting of three main parts:the randomly distributed microstructure on T-ZnOw/PDMS film as a top substrate,multilayer Ti_(3)C_(2)-MXene film as an intermediate conductive filler,and the few-layer Ti_(3)C_(2)-MXene nanosheetbased interdigital electrodes as the bottom *** MXene-based piezoresistive sensor with randomly distributed microstructure exhibits a high sensitivity over a broad pressure range(less than 1. kPa for 1.5 kPa^(-1.)and possesses an out-standing permanence of up to 5000 ***,a 1.-pixel sensor array is designed,and its potential applications in visualizing pressure distribution and an example of tactile feedback are *** fully sprayed MXene-based pressure sensor,with high sensitivity and excellent durability,can be widely used in,electronic skin,intelligent robots,and many other emerging technologies.

Both sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)and potassium-ion batteries(PIBs)are considered as promising candidates in grid-level energy storage ***,the larger ionic radii of K+and Na+induce poor diffusion kinetics and cycling stability of carbon anode *** structure regulation is an ideal strategy to promote the diffusion kinetics and cyclic stability of carbon materials by facilitating electrolyte infiltration,increasing the transport channels,and alleviating the volume ***,traditional pore-forming agent-assisted methods considerably increase the difficulty of synthesis and limit practical applications of porous carbon ***,porous carbon materials(Ca-PC/Na-PC/K-PC)with different pore structures have been prepared with gluconates as the precursors,and the amorphous structure,abundant micropores,and oxygen-doping active sites endow the Ca-PC anode with excellent potassium and sodium storage *** PIBs,the capacitive contribution ratio of Ca-PC is 82%at 5.0 mV s^(-1. due to the introduction of micropores and high oxygen-doping content,while a high reversible capacity of 1.1.4 mAh g^(-1. can be reached at 5 A g^(-1. after 2000 *** SIBs,stable sodium storage capacity of 1.1.4 mAh g^(-1. can be achieved at 2 A g^(-1. after 8000 cycles with a very low decay rate of 0.65%for per *** work may provide an avenue for the application of porous carbon materials in the energy storage field.

Vitamin A (VA) plays an essential role in modulating both the gut microbiota and gut barrier ***-chain fatty acids (SCFAs),as metabolites of the gut microbiota,protect the physiological intestinal barrier;however,they are compromised when VA is ***,there is an urgent need to understand how and which SCFAs modulate colonic epithelial barrier integrity in VA deficiency (VAD).Herein,compared with normal VA rats (VAN),at the beginning of pregnancy,we confirmed that the colonic desmosome junction was impaired in the VAD group,and the amounts of acetate,propionate,and butyrate declined because of the decreased abundance of SCFA-producing bacteria (Romboutsia ,Collinsella ,and Allobaculum ).The differentially expressed genes correlated with the gut barrier and the histone deacetylase complex between the VAD and VAN groups were enriched by RNA *** the VAD group,the expression levels of colonic CEA cell adhesion molecule 1.(CEACAM1. were down-regulated,and the levels of histone deacetylase 1.(HDAC1. and HDAC3 were ***,the above changes in the VAD groups were rescued by VA supplementation in the early postnatal *** study indicated that in Caco-2 cells,butyrate treatment significantly repressed the enrichment of HDAC3 on the promoter of the CEACAM1.gene to induce its *** findings support that butyrate intervention can alleviate the impairment of colonic barrier function caused by VAD,and timely postnatal VA intervention may reverse the damage caused by VAD on gut barrier integrity during pregnancy.

Background There is no appropriate tool to predict recombinant human growth hormone(rhGH)response before therapy initiation in short-stature children in late *** current study aimed to explore the associations between magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)stages of the knee growth plates and rhGH response in short-stature children in late *** In this prospective cohort study,short-stature children in late puberty were treated with rhGH and followed up for 6 *** proposed a novel knee MRI staging system according to the growth plate states of distal femurs or proximal tibias and divided the participants into three groups:unclosed growth plate group,marginally closed growth plate group,and nearly closed growth plate *** primary outcomes were height gain and growth velocity(GV),which were assessed three months *** Fifty participants were enrolled,including 23 boys and 27 *** and height gain after 6 months of rhGH therapy decreased successively in the three groups with an increased degree of growth plate fusion,especially when grouped by proximal tibias(GV_(1.3 mon)from 9.38 to 6.08 to 4.56 cm/year,GV_(4-6 mon)from 6.75 to 4.92 to 3.25 cm/year,and height gain from 4.03 to 2.75 to 1.95 cm,all P1..Moreover,the MRI stages of growth plates independently served as a significant variable for GV and height gain after therapy,especially when grouped by proximal tibias(all P1..Conclusion The MRI staging method is expected to be an effective tool for predicting rhGH response before therapy initiation in short-stature children in late puberty.

For studying and optimizing the performance of general-purpose computing on graphics processing units(GPGPU)based on single instruction multiple threads(SIMT)processor about the neural network application,this work contributes a self-developed SIMT processor named Pomelo and correlated assembly *** parallel mechanism of SIMT computing mode and self-developed Pomelo processor is briefly introduced.A common convolutional neural network(CNN)is built to verify the compatibility and functionality of the Pomelo *** computing flow with task level and hardware level optimization is adopted on the Pomelo processor.A specific algorithm for organizing a Z-shaped memory structure is developed,which addresses reducing memory access in mass data computing *** the above-combined adaptation and optimization strategy,the experimental result demonstrates that reducing memory access in SIMT computing mode plays a crucial role in improving performance.A 6.52 times performance is achieved on the 4 processing elements case.
