Currently,psychiatry lacks a field that can be called“theoretical psychiatry”,which uses theoretical concepts and explanatory models:The main stream of research is to collect data of all kinds in the hope that the computational Big Data approach will shed a bright light on the black box of mental ***,the biology-based Research Domain Criteria of the National Institute of Mental Health have been ***,as philosophical analyses of concepts and methods have shown,several epistemological gaps stand in the way of a consistent multilevel understanding of mental ***,the implicit ontological problems in the biological reduction of the psychosocial level and in the integration of so-called hard and soft disciplines are mostly left *** a consequence,a non-reductive psychological theory of mental disorders is sought that also integrates correlating biological and sociological *** this context,one example of promising nonreductive psychiatric research is the option of systems/network *** possibilities for integrating different psychological perspectives are highlighted for the field of addiction research and treatment,where pragmatic behaviorist approaches dominate over the theorybased practice of *** comparing the theoretical constructs of these two approaches,the relevance of the concept of“(social)environment”as the wealth of influential sociocultural factors is discussed at levels superior to the interpersonal micro-level,namely the organizational meso-and societal macro level,which is not sufficiently considered in current *** this basis of argumentation,the usefulness of grounding and framing psychiatry through the field of ecological sciences,especially human ecology,is ***,to this end,an outline of an ecological model of mental health and illness is presented.

Quantifying forest structural diversity based on large-scale inventory data:a new approach to support biodiversity monitoring

Background: The importance of structurally diverse forests for the conservation of biodiversity and provision of a wide range of ecosystem services has been widely recognised. However, tools to quantify structural diversity of forests in an objective and quantitative way across many forest types and sites are still needed, for example to support biodiversity monitoring. The existing approaches to quantify forest structural diversity are based on small geographical regions or single forest types, typically using only small data ***: Here we developed an index of structural diversity based on National forest Inventory(NfI) data of BadenWurttemberg, Germany, a state with 1.3 million ha of diverse forest types in different ownerships. Based on a literature review, 11 aspects of structural diversity were identified a priori as crucially important to describe structural diversity. An initial comprehensive list of 52 variables derived from National forest Inventory(NfI) data related to structural diversity was reduced by applying five selection criteria to arrive at one variable for each aspect of structural diversity. These variables comprise 1) quadratic mean diameter at breast height(DBH), 2) standard deviation of DBH, 3) standard deviation of stand height, 4) number of decay classes, 5) bark-diversity index, 6) trees with DBH ≥ 40 cm, 7) diversity of flowering and fructification, 8) average mean diameter of downed deadwood, 9) mean DBH of standing deadwood, 10) tree species richness and 11) tree species richness in the regeneration layer. These variables were combined into a simple,additive index to quantify the level of structural diversity, which assumes values between 0 and 1. ‘Compound casting’simplifies joining processes by directly casting a metallic melt onto a solid metal substrate. A continuously metallurgic transition is very important for industrial applications, such as joint structures of spaceframe constructions in transport industry. In this project, ‘compound casting’ of light metals is investigated, aiming at weight-saving. The substrate used is a wrought aluminium alloy of type AA5xxx, containing magnesium as main alloying element. The melts are aluminium alloys, containing various alloying elements (Cu, Si, Zn), and magnesium. By replacing the natural oxygen layer with a zinc layer, the inherent wetting difficulties were avoided, and compounds with flawless interfaces were successfully produced (no contraction defects, cracks or oxides). Electron microscopy and EDX investigations as well as optical micrographs of the interfacial areas revealed their continu- ously metallic constitution. Diffusion of alloying elements leads to heat-treatable microstructures in the vicinity of the joining interfaces in Al-Al couples. This permits significant variability of mechanical properties. Without significantly cutting down on wettability, the formation of low-melting intermetallic phases (Al3Mg2 and Al12Mg17 IMPs) at the interface of Al-Mg couples was avoided by applying a protective coating to the substrate.

We present here for the first time,the Raman and infrared spectroscopic investigation of amphiboles from the World's deepest borehole,the Kola super-deep borehole,at the depth of 11.66 *** Kola Super-deep borehole(SG-3)(henceforth referred as KSDB)is located in the northwest of the Kola Peninsula in the northern frame of the Pechenga structure,*** was drilled in the north-eastern part of the Baltic Shield(69о5’N,30о44’E)and reached a depth of 12.262 *** has been drilled in the northern limb of the Pechenga geosyncline composed of rhythmically inter-bedded volcanogenic and tuffaceous-sedimentary strata extending to the NW at 300°–310°and dipping to SW at angles of 30°–50°.The SG-3 geological section is represented by two complexes–Proterozoic and *** facies is dominant in the depth region from 6000 m to 12,000m to the *** Raman spectra of the sample reveal abundant presence of plagioclase and *** most distinct Raman peak in this study indicates the tremolite-ferro-actinolite rich enrichment of the borehole samples at this depth corroborating earlier conventional petrographic studies.

Chronic inflammatory airway diseases,such as chronic bronchitis,chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,emphysema,and bronchial asthma,pose significant healthcare *** treatments offer promise as valuable complements to the optimal medical therapy recommended by the Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease guideline and the Global Initiative for Asthma *** directly accessing the airways,these minimally invasive procedures enable precise *** encompass a wide range of techniques including bronchial thermoplasty and targeted lung denervation for both chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and severe asthma,bronchoscopic lung volume reduction(including the use of endobronchial valves,coils,and bronchoscopic thermal vapor ablation),airway bypass and peripheral stent placement for emphysema,bronchial rheoplasty and spray cryotherapy for chronic bronchitis,and other emerging *** interventional treatments aim to improve patients’symptoms by reducing lung volume,alleviating hyperinflation,eliminating vagal innervation,disrupting hyperplastic goblet cells and thus reducing excessive mucus secretion,and weakening submucosal smooth *** review highlights the potential advantages of interventional treatments for chronic inflammatory airway diseases and discusses relevant techniques tailored to specific disease *** overall aim is to assist interventional pulmonologists in selecting the most appropriate techniques for individual patients.

Background: Research began on botanical/herbal organisms to study plant cells. The idea behind this was that plant cells have basic similar actions as do animal cells (i.e., both are Eukaryotic cells). These cells can show what activity is produced from the Technology/Innovation behind ImunStem, without risk to animals or humans, and still retrieve data to verify the theory. By using plants and studying plant cell activity, then later comparing plant cell, animal cells, and human cell responses, it thus shows activity for all cell structures. The activity was also studied from patients taking ImunStem for the indication of Serious or Life-threatening conditions or diseases. Patient medical report results showed an overall improvement in bodily function as blood report results were compared. Patients that were administered ImunStem showed improvement in their overall health and patients with chronic disease had reduced pain as ImunStem was administered over time. The pain was reduced because the body was in the healing process and a reduction in inflammation would occur during healing and the patient’s health would improve. ImunStem was produced based on the theory that the product could rejuvenate the cell and bring the cell back to a homeostasis balance. This balance to the cell (through nutrition) can give the surrounding cells a homeostasis balance that may heal cells and tissues in the body. It is believed that the function of a Quantum Wave effect is explained through the discipline of Quantum Mechanics. The Quantum Wave may disrupt the subatomic particles that provide adhesion to allow the product through the cell wall and move to its target location. In Quantum Mechanics, particles have wavelike properties. The Schrödinger equation, for example, governs how these waves behave. Background: The Tiêu equation has a ground roots approach to the process of Quantum Biology and goes deeper through the incorporation of Quantum Mechanics. The process can be measured in plant, animal, and human usage through a variety of experimental or testing forms. Animal studies were conducted for which, in the first day of the study all the animals consistently gained dramatic weight, even as a toxic substance was introduced as described in the introduction of the paper to harm animal subjects which induced weight loss through toxicity. Tests can be made by incorporating blood report results. Human patients were also observed to show improvement to their health as administration of the substance was introduced to the biological mechanism and plants were initially exposed to the substance to observe results. This is consistent with the Tiêu equation which provides that wave function is created as the introduction of the substance to the biological mechanism which supports Quantum Mechanics. The Tiêu equation demonstrates that Quantum Mechanics moves a particle by temperature producing energy thru the blood-brain barrier for example. Methods: The methods for the Tiêu equation incorporate animal studies to include the substance administered through laboratory standards using Good Laboratory Practices under Title 40 C.f.R. § 158. Human patients were treated with the substance by medical professionals who are experts in their field and have knowledge to the response of patients. Plant applications were acquired for observation and guidance of ongoing experiments of animals’ representative for the biologics mechanism. Results: The animal studies along with patient blood testing results have been an impressive line that has followed the Tiêu equation to consistently show improvement in the introduction of the innovation to biologic mechanisms.
