Analysis method and experimental study of ice accumulation detection signal based on Lamb waves

A quantitative identification method for in-flight icing has the capability to significantly enhance the safety of aircraft *** guided waves have the unique advantage of detecting icing in a relatively large area,but quantitative identification of ice layers is a *** this paper,a quantitative identification method of ice accumulation based on ultrasonic guided waves is ***,a simulation model for the wave dynamics of piezoelectric coupling in three dimensions is established to analyze the propagation characteristics of Lamb waves in a structure consisting of an aluminum plate and an ice *** wavelet transform method is utilized to extract the Time of Flight(ToF)or Time of Delay(ToD)of S_(0)/B_(1) mode waves,which serves as a characteristic parameter to precisely determine and assess the level of ice ***,an experimental system is developed to evaluate the feasibility of Lamb waves-based icing real-time detection in the presence of spray ***,a combination of the Hampel median filter and the moving average filter is developed to analyze ToF/ToD *** simulation results reveal a positive correlation between geometric dimensions(length,width,thickness)of the ice layer and ToF/ToD of B1 mode waves,indicating their potential as indicators for quantifying ice *** results of real-time icing detection indicate that ToF/ToD will reach greater peak values with the growth of the arbitrary-shaped ice layer until saturation to effectively predict the simulation *** study lays a foundation for the practical application of quantitative icing detection via ultrasonic guided waves.

Estimating Critical Clearing Time of Grid Faults Using DA of State-Reduction Model of Power Systems

This paper proposes a critical clearing time (CCT) estimation method by the domain of attraction (DA) of a state-reduction model of power systems using sum of squares (SOS) programming. By exploiting the property of the Jacobian matrix and the structure of the boundary of the DA, it is found the DA of the state-reduction model and that of the full model of a power system are topological isomorphism. There are one-to-one correspondence relationships between the number of equilibrium points, the type of equilibrium points, and solutions of the two system models. Based on these findings, an expanding interior algorithm is proposed with SOS programming to estimate the DA of the state-reduction model. State trajectories of the full model can be transformed to those of the state-reduction model by orthogonal or equiradius projection. In this way, CCT of a grid fault is estimated with the DA of the state-reduction model. The calculational burden of SOS programming in the DA estimation using the state-reduction model is rather small compared with using the full model. Simulation results show the proposed expanding interior algorithm is able to provide a tight estimation of DA of power systems with higher accuracy and lower time costs.

P_(c)(4457)has been discovered over five years,but the parity of this particle remains *** propose a new interpretation for P_(c)(4457),which is the state generated from the coupled-channel D^(0)Ac+(2595)andπ^(0)P_(c)(4312)since they can exchange an almost on-shell∑_(c)^(+).In this scenario,the parity of P_(c)(4457)will be positive,which is different from the candidate of the bound state of D*∑_(c).The main decay channel of P_(c)(4457)in this model is Pc(4312)π.We propose three processes∧_(b)^(0)→J/ψKapπ^(-),∧_(b)^(0)→J/ψK-pπ^(0),and∧_(b)^(0)→J/ψpπ^(-)π^(+)k^(-)to verify Pc(4457)→Pc(4312)π.

Targeting cytokine and chemokine signaling pathways for cancer therapy

Cytokines are critical in regulating immune responses and cellular behavior, playing dual roles in both normal physiology and the pathology of diseases such as cancer. These molecules, including interleukins, interferons, tumor necrosis factors, chemokines, and growth factors like TGF-beta, VEGF, and EGF, can promote or inhibit tumor growth, influence the tumor microenvironment, and impact the efficacy of cancer treatments. Recent advances in targeting these pathways have shown promising therapeutic potential, offering new strategies to modulate the immune system, inhibit tumor progression, and overcome resistance to conventional therapies. In this review, we summarized the current understanding and therapeutic implications of targeting cytokine and chemokine signaling pathways in cancer. By exploring the roles of these molecules in tumor biology and the immune response, we highlighted the development of novel therapeutic agents aimed at modulating these pathways to combat cancer. The review elaborated on the dual nature of cytokines as both promoters and suppressors of tumorigenesis, depending on the context, and discussed the challenges and opportunities this presents for therapeutic intervention. We also examined the latest advancements in targeted therapies, including monoclonal antibodies, bispecific antibodies, receptor inhibitors, fusion proteins, engineered cytokine variants, and their impact on tumor growth, metastasis, and the tumor microenvironment. Additionally, we evaluated the potential of combining these targeted therapies with other treatment modalities to overcome resistance and improve patient outcomes. Besides, we also focused on the ongoing research and clinical trials that are pivotal in advancing our understanding and application of cytokine- and chemokine-targeted therapies for cancer patients.

Visible Light-Induced Collapse of Molecular Microcrystals into Droplets by E-to-Z Photoisomerization and Melting Phase Transition

Evaluation of Well Spacing for Primary Development of Fractured Horizontal Wells in Tight Sandstone Gas Reservoirs

Methods for horizontal well spacing calculation in tight gas reservoirs are still adversely affected by the complexity of related control factors,such as strong reservoir heterogeneity and seepage *** this study,the stress sensitivity and threshold pressure gradient of various types of reservoirs are quantitatively evaluated through reservoir seepage *** the basis of these experiments,a numerical simulation model(based on the special seepage mechanism)and an inverse dynamic reserve algorithm(with different equivalent drainage areas)were *** well spacing ranges of Classes I,II,and III wells in the Q gas field are determined to be 802–1,000,600–662,and 285–400 m,respectively,with their average ranges as 901,631,and 342.5 m,*** considering both the pairs of parallel well groups and series well groups as examples,the reliability of the calculation results is *** is shown that the combination of the two models can reduce errors and provide accurate results.

Association between central serous chorioretinopathy and Helicobacter pylori infection: a systematic review and Meta-analysis

AIM:To investigate the association between central serous chorioretinopathy(CSC)and Helicobacter pylori(Hp)by summarizing all available ***:The Scopus,Embase,EBSCO,PubMed,Web of Science,and Cochrane Library databases for all relevant studies published from inception to October 2022 were searched,and manually searched for relevant reference lists as a *** investigating the association between CSC and Hp infection were ***,8 case-control studies were included in the Meta-analysis after study ***:The results showed no significant correlation between Hp infection and CSC[odds ratio(OR)1.89,95%confidential interval(CI)0.58–6.15,I2=96%,P=0.29].After subgroup analysis based on the degree of development of the study(developing/developed countries),it was found that the results of the two subgroups were the same as the whole,and no significant difference between the two subgroups ***-regression showed that the effect of sample size on heterogeneity among studies was more prominent(P<0.01,adjusted R^(2)=89.72%),which can explain 89.72%of the sources of ***:This Meta-analysis reveals no significant correlation between Hp infection and CSC,which still warrants further well-designed extensive sample studies to reach a more reliable conclusion and promote a better understanding of the treatment of CSC.

Rheological properties and concentration evolution of thickened tailings under the coupling effect of compression and shear
