Peripheral nerve injury(PNI)is a common neurological disorder and complete functional recovery is difficult to *** recent years,bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs)have emerged as ideal seed cells for PNI treatment due to their strong differentiation potential and autologous trans-plantation *** review aims to summarize the molecular mechanisms by which BMSCs mediate nerve repair in *** key mechanisms discussed include the differentiation of BMSCs into multiple types of nerve cells to promote repair of nerve *** also create a microenvironment suitable for neuronal survival and regeneration through the secretion of neurotrophic factors,extracellular matrix molecules,and adhesion ***,BMSCs release pro-angiogenic factors to promote the formation of new blood *** modulate cytokine expression and regulate macrophage polarization,leading to ***,BMSCs synthesize and release proteins related to myelin sheath formation and axonal regeneration,thereby promoting neuronal repair and ***,this review explores methods of applying BMSCs in PNI treatment,including direct cell trans-plantation into the injured neural tissue,implantation of BMSCs into nerve conduits providing support,and the application of genetically modified BMSCs,among *** findings confirm the potential of BMSCs in treating ***,with the development of this field,it is crucial to address issues related to BMSC therapy,including establishing standards for extracting,identifying,and cultivating BMSCs,as well as selecting application methods for BMSCs in PNI such as direct transplantation,tissue engineering,and genetic *** these issues will help translate current preclinical research results into clinical practice,providing new and effective treatment strategies for patients with PNI.

Gastritis cystica profunda in a previously unoperated stomach:A case report

Gastritis cystica profunda is a relatively rare disease, usually observed at anastomotic sites in stomachs of patients that have undergone gastric procedures. We present the rare case of an elevated lesion in the anterior wall of the gastric antrum of a 43-year-old Chinese woman who had never undergone gastric surgery and had no gastrointestinal tract symptoms. Although the physical examination and laboratory data showed no abnormalities, endoscopic ultrasonography revealed an anechoic cystic structure. Abdominalcomputed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging showed the gastric wall of the greater curvature of the antrum was markedly and irregularly thickened, and mild to moderate enhancement was observed around the lesion with no enhancement in the central portion, suggestive of a gastrointestinal stromal tumor. The patient underwent a distal gastric resection of the 2.5 cm × 1.5 cm lesion. A postoperative pathologic examination showed dilated cystic glands in the muscularis mucosa and submucosal layers and erosion of the mucosal surface of the tumor, confirming the diagnosis of gastritis cystica profunda without malignancy.

By pushing computation,cache,and network control to the edge,mobile edge computing(MEC)is expected to play a leading role in fifth generation(5G)and future sixth generation(6G).Nevertheless,facing ubiquitous fast-growing computational demands,it is impossible for a single MEC paradigm to effectively support high-quality intelligent services at end user equipments(UEs).To address this issue,we propose an air-ground collaborative MEC(AGCMEC)architecture in this *** proposed AGCMEC integrates all potentially available MEC servers within air and ground in the envisioned 6G,by a variety of collaborative ways to provide computation services at their best for ***,we introduce the AGC-MEC architecture and elaborate three typical use ***,we discuss four main challenges in the AGC-MEC as well as their potential ***,we conduct a case study of collaborative service placement for AGC-MEC to validate the effectiveness of the proposed collaborative service placement ***,we highlight several potential research directions of the AGC-MEC.

Structural and Histochemical Characterization of Developing Rice Caryopsis

The development of pericarp, seed coat, starchy endosperm and aleurone of the rice caryopsis was investigated, histochemically and structurally, from the time of flowering to maturity. The results showed that during its growth, the maximum length of the caryopsis was attained first, followed by width and then thickness. Histochemical examination of the caryopsis showed that starch was mainly accumulated in the endosperm, but the endosperm showed no metabolic activity, while embryo and pericarp contained a few starch grains, and embryo and aleurone were strongly active. Aleuronic cells contained many aleurone grains and spherosomes, and aleurone in the dorsal region developed earlier and contained more layers of cells. Amyloplasts in endosperm contained many starch granules and were spherical at early stages but polyhedric at late stages. The protein bodies appeared later than amyloplasts, and the number of protein bodies in subaleurone was greater than those in the starchy endosperm. The white-belly portion of endosperm might be relative to the status of amyloplast development.

Sedimentary environment shift and organic matter enrichment mechanism in response to volcanic ash influence:A case study of the Permian Lucaogou Formation,Santanghu Basin,NW China

The second member of the Lucaogou Formation(P_(2)l_(2))in the Tiaohu and Malang Sags of the Santanghu Basin(study area)underwent periodic volcanic activity and frequent lithological *** study comprehensively analyzed the organic geochemistry,mineral composition,organic matter(OM)types,volcanic cycle,and palaeoenvironment of shale in the study *** such as total organic carbon(TOC),rock pyrolysis(Rock-Eval),organic petrology,scanning electron microscopy(SEM)with energydispersive spectrum(EDS)analysis,X-ray diffraction(XRD),trace elements,and saturated hydrocarbon gas chromatography and mass spectrometry(GC-MS)were *** findings suggest that limited terrigenous input during the sedimentary period of the P_(2)l_(2) led to the deposition of a distinctive mixture of volcanic ash(felsic)and carbonate(dolomite and calcite),with a low average clay mineral content of 6%.The P_(2)l_(2) shale emerged as a high-quality source rock,predominantly composed of type I and II kerogens,with moderate OM *** deposition environment was characterized by hot and arid conditions,high salinity,and intensive reducibility,which was favorable for algae development and conducive to OM ***,two lamalginite types,labeled as lamalginite“A”and lamalginite“B,”were ***“B”-rich shales were deposited in a hotter and drier climate compared to lamalginite“A”-rich ***“B”-rich shale inexhibited high levels of C_(28)regular sterane andβ-carotenes,distinguishing it from lamalginite“A”-rich shale.A comprehensive analysis involving organic petrology,SEM,sedimentary environment,and biomarker characteristics suggests that lamalginite“B”may be a salt-tolerant green alga,while lamalginite“A”may be a ***,an OM enrichment model for the P_(2)l_(2) shale was established.

Causes of surface stripe cracks of Ti–4Al–2V alloy cold-rolled sheet

The stripe cracks which formed along rolling direction on the surface of Ti–4Al–2V alloy cold-rolled sheet were observed by stereoscope, scanning electron microscope（SEM）, and energy-dispersive spectrometer（EDS）. Morphology analysis indicates that cracks are dominantly in zigzag shape, with 10–30 mm in length and less than 10 lm in depth, and there is no evidence of crack tips. Chemical composition analysis shows that crack regions feather high oxygen concentration while smooth surface is at normal oxygen level. It is obvious that the occurrence of strip cracks is mainly related to residual oxide on the surface of Ti–4Al–2V alloy cold-rolled sheet.

Predicting rock cracking is important for assessing the stability of underground *** effects of the intersecting angle a and the distribution orientation angleβof intersecting fissures on the uniaxial compressive strength and the failure characteristics of sandstone containing intersecting fissures are investigated through laboratory experiments and two-dimensional particle flow code(PFC2D).The relationship between the mechanical properties of sandstone and the intersecting angle a and the distribution orientation angleβis *** initiation forms and the final failure modes are then categorised and determined via empirical *** addition,the cracking processes of intersecting fissures with different a andβvalues are *** results show that variations in the peak stress,peak strain,average modulus,and crack initiation stress of sandstone containing intersecting fissures show a“moth”shape in the space of the a-β-mechanical *** crack initiation forms are identified:inner tip cracking(usually accompanied by one outer tip cracking)and only outer tips *** failure modes are observed:(1)the main fracture planes are created at the inner tip and one outer tip,and(2)the main fracture planes are formed at the two outer *** main crack evolution processes of sandstone containing intersecting fissures under uniaxial compression are *** for quickly determining the crack initiation form and the failure mode are *** combination of the determination equations for the crack initiation form and the failure mode can be used to predict the crack *** approach for determining the crack evolution processes is hence proposed with acceptable precision.
