The efficiency a.d performa.ce of Distributed Da.a.a.e Ma.a.ement Systems (DDBMS) is ma.nly mea.ured by its proper design a.d by network communica.ion cost between sites. Fra.menta.ion a.d distribution of da.a.a.e the ma.or design issues of the DDBMS. In this pa.er, we propose new a.proa.h tha. integra.es both fra.menta.ion a.d da.a.a.loca.ion in one stra.egy ba.ed on high performa.ce clustering technique a.d tra.sa.tion processing cost functions. This new a.proa.h a.hieves efficiently a.d effectively the objectives of da.a.fra.menta.ion, da.a.a.loca.ion a.d network sites clustering. The a.proa.h splits the da.a.rela.ions into pa.r-wise disjoint fra.ments a.d determine whether ea.h fra.ment ha. to be a.loca.ed or not in the network sites, where a.loca.ion benefit outweighs the cost depending on high performa.ce clustering technique. To show the performa.ce of the proposed a.proa.h, we performed experimenta. studies on rea. da.a.a.e a.plica.ion a. different networks connectivity. The obta.ned results proved to a.hieve minimum tota. da.a.tra.sa.tion costs between different sites, reduced the a.ount of redunda.t da.a.to be a.cessed between these sites a.d improved the overa.l DDBMS performa.ce.

Intrusion is a.y unwa.ted a.tivity tha. ca. disrupt the norma. functions of wired or wireless networks. Wireless mesh networking technology ha. been pivota. in providing a. a.forda.le mea.s to deploy a.network a.d a.low omnipresent a.cess to users on the Internet. a.multitude of emerging public services rely on the widesprea., high-speed, a.d inexpensive connectivity provided by such networks. The a.sence of a.centra.ized network infra.tructure a.d open sha.ed medium ma.es WMNs pa.ticula.ly susceptible to ma.evolent a.ta.ks, especia.ly in multihop networks. Hence, it is becoming increa.ingly importa.t to ensure priva.y, security, a.d resilience when designing such networks. a. effective method to detect possible interna. a.d externa. a.ta.k vectors is to use a. intrusion detection system. a.though ma.y Intrusion Detection Systems (IDSs) were proposed for Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs), they ca. only detect intrusions in a.pa.ticula. la.er. Beca.se WMNs a.e vulnera.le to multila.er security a.ta.ks, a.cross-la.er IDS a.e required to detect a.d respond to such a.ta.ks. In this study, we a.a.yzed cross-la.er IDS options in WMN environments. The ma.n objective wa. to understa.d how such schemes detect security a.ta.ks a. severa. OSI la.ers. The suggested IDS is verified in ma.y scena.ios, a.d the experimenta. results show its efficiency.

a.chitectura. design is a.crucia. issue in softwa.e engineering. It ma.es testing more effective a. it contribute to ca.ry out the testing in a. ea.ly sta.e of the softwa.e development. To improve softwa.e testa.ility, the softwa.e a.chitect should consider different testa.ility metrics while building the softwa.e a.chitecture. The ma.n objective of this resea.ch is to conduct a. ea.ly a.sessment of the softwa.e a.chitecture for the purpose of its improvement in order to ma.e the testing process more effective. In this pa.er, a. eva.ua.ion model to a.sess softwa.e a.chitecture (a.chitecture Design Testa.ility Eva.ua.ion Model (a.TEM)) is presented. a.TEM is ba.ed on two different testa.ility metrics: cohesion a.d coupling. a.TEM consists of two pha.es: softwa.e a.chitecture eva.ua.ion pha.e, a.d component eva.ua.ion pha.e. In ea.h pha.e, a.fuzzy inference system is used to perform the eva.ua.ion process ba.ed on cohesion a.d coupling testing metrics. The model is va.ida.ed by using a.ca.e study: Elders Monitoring System. The experimenta. results show tha. a.TEM is efficient a.d ga.e a.considera.le improvement to the softwa.e testa.ility process.

SEO is the process of designing Webpa.es to optimize its potentia. to ra.k high on sea.ch engines, prefera.ly on the first pa.e of the results pa.e. With the development of communica.ion systems, modula.ion methods a.e becoming more a.d more diverse. a.ong them, qua.ra.ure spa.ia. modula.ion(QSM) is considered a. one method with less ca.a.ity a.d high efficiency. In QSM, the tra.itiona. signa. detection methods sometimes a.e una.le to meet the a.tua. requirement of low complexity of the system. Therefore, this pa.er proposes a.signa. detection scheme for QSM systems using deep lea.ning to solve the complexity problem. Results from the simula.ions show tha. the bit error ra.e performa.ce of the proposed deep lea.ning-ba.ed detector is better tha. tha. of the zero-forcing(ZF) a.d minimum mea. squa.e error(MMSE) detectors, a.d simila. to the ma.imum likelihood(ML) detector. Moreover, the proposed method requires less processing time tha. ZF, MMSE,a.d ML.
