The evident change in the design of the autopilot system produced massive help for the aviation industry and it required frequent *** learning delivers appropriate outcomes when considering a continuous environment where the controlling Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)required maximum *** this paper,we designed a hybrid framework,which is based on Reinforcement Learning and Deep Learning where the traditional electronic flight controller is replaced by using 3D hand *** algorithm is designed to take the input from 3D hand gestures and integrate with the Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient(DDPG)to receive the best reward and take actions according to 3D hand gestures *** UAV consist of a Jetson Nano embedded testbed,Global Positioning System(GPS)sensor module,and Intel depth *** collision avoidance system based on the polar mask segmentation technique detects the obstacles and decides the best path according to the designed reward *** analysis of the results has been observed providing best accuracy and computational time using novel design framework when compared with traditional Proportional Integral Derivatives(PID)flight *** are six reward functions estimated for 2500,5000,7500,and 10000 episodes of training,which have been normalized between 0 to−*** best observation has been captured on 2500 episodes where the rewards are calculated for maximum *** achieved training accuracy of polar mask segmentation for collision avoidance is 86.36%.

Polarization modes response of VCSEL below the threshold under external optical feedback

Although it is well known that vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers (VCSELs) are very sensitive to internal optical feedback (OF)， dominated by internal cavity mirrors， and external OF， dominated by an external cavity mirror. Consequently， their dynamics under such effects have been intensively studied. However， the external OF effects below the threshold on the lasers’ polarization modes and the light-current (L-I) characteristics have not yet been studied to the best of our knowledge. In this paper， we show experimentally that polarization modes behaviors of VCSEL below the threshold follow behaviors above the threshold with the existence of an external OF. OF can enhance or suppress the polarization modes below the threshold， depending on two parameters: OF strength and the polarization state of the feedback light. Moreover， when the bias current increases from zero to the threshold value， abrupt polarization switching occurs between low- and high-power polarization modes of the VCSEL

Development and Reproduction of Sweet Potato Whitefly Bemisia tabaci (Homoptera;Aleyroididae) on Four Vegetable Crops in Southern Sierra Leone

Bemisia tabaci is a polyphagous herbivore that feeds on a wide range of horticultural and ornamental crops cultivated under diverse ecological zones. In Sierra Leone, B. tabaci is found to infest a wide range of vegetable crops by directly feeding on phloem sap thereby inducing physiological disorders, and also serve as a vector to gemini viruses. Invariably the destructive feeding of B. tabaci affects the productivity and aesthetic values of vegetables and other horticultural crops and hence is considered a serious economic pest. A bioassay experiment was carried out by rearing B. tabaci populations on four vegetable crops under controlled laboratory conditions to determine its life table and demographic parameters. Results showed that the intrinsic rate of growth which measures the population size and growth pattern was highest for populations reared on tomato crops with the following values: rm 0.145 female female−1 day−1, the gross reproduction rate (Ro), and finite growth rate λ were highest for population reared on tomato, correspondingly the development period from egg-adult emergence was shortest with a value of 26 d. Conversely, the computed demographical parameters rm, λ and Ro for the population reared on sweet pepper were 0.106 female female−1 day−1 respectively, with a corresponding development period egg-adult emergence as 36d. The computed biological parameters for okra and garden egg varied with intermediary values between tomato and pepper host materials. The survivorship rates were quite significant for the smaller instars (Instars 1-III) with over 80% surviving to pre-pupa and pupa stage for the populations reared for all the test materials. High mortality was noticed for the pre-pupa and pupa stages as their survival rates were significantly low compared to the high survival rates of the smaller instars. Less than 50% of pupae failed to emerge to adults except for populations reared on tomato test materials where 52% emerged to adults. The study

Early selection of bread wheat genotypes using morphological and photosynthetic attributes conferring drought tolerance

Genetic diversity is the base of any genetic improvement breeding program aimed at stress *** variability among breeding materials is of primary importance in the achievements of a good crop ***,105 wheat genotypes were screened against drought stress using factorial completely randomized design at seedling stage to determine the genetic diversity and traits association conferring drought *** of variances revealed that all the studied parameters differed significantly among all genotypes,indicating the significance genetic variability existed among all genotypes for studied *** 10 best performance genotypes G1,G6,G11,G16,G21,G26,G39,G44,G51,and G61 were screened as drought tolerant,while five lowest performance genotypes G3,G77,G91,G98,and G105 were screened as drought *** length,chlorophyll a,chlorophyll b,and carotenoid contents were significantly correlated among themselves which exhibited the importance of these indices for rainfed areas in future wheat breeding *** length exhibited non-significant and negative association with other studied traits,and its selection seems not to be a promising criteria for this germplasm for drought *** performance genotypes under drought stress conditions will be useful in future wheat breeding program and early selection will be effective for developing high yielding and drought tolerant wheat varieties.

Use of wireless system in healthcare for developing countries

Healthcare is one of the major applications of wireless systems that possess crucial issues. Specifically developing countries require a tow cost and reliable network with efficient protocols. The most challenging concern of Body Area Network （BAN） is heterogeneity, which requires fairness with reliability among all the network nodes. Solutions proposed for these networks either do not provide fair packet transmission or consume high energy and introduce delays. In this paper, we propose a cross layer protocol for healthcare applications meeting the requirements and challenges of the heterogeneous BAN. The protocol is also feasible for developing countries as it can be implemented over existing wireless infrastructure and provides high network reliability with energy efficiency through cooperation and adaptability. Results show that the proposed scheme improves reliability, throughput, Packet Delivery Ratio （PDR）, and energy consumption for scalable and mobile networks over conventional BAN protocols.

Proton conductivity performance and its correlation with physiochemical properties of proton exchange membrane(PEM)

Graphene oxide(GO)filler containing diversified Nafion-based proton exchange membrane(PEM)is studied to know the unique physical and chemical properties and performances of ***-SPEEK 1%-GO 0.75%(NSG-0.75%)composite shows the highest proton conductivity of 0.327 S·cm^(-1) at 90℃ and 100%RH(relative humidity)among all the PEM *** descending order of significant proton conductivity is found as;Nafion-sPGO(1%)0.306 S·cm^(-1)>Nafion/ZIF-8@GO 0.280 S·cm^(-1)>Nafion/PGO(2%)0.277 S·cm^(-1)>Nafion/GO-sulfur(3%)0.232 S·cm^(-1)>Nafion/GO-poly-SPM-co-PEGMEMA(1%)0.229 S·cm^(-1)>Nafion/Ce-sPGO(1%)0.215 S·cm^(-1).The proton conductivity,water uptake capacity and ion exchange capacity,hydration number,thermal and oxidative stability,mechanical integrity(tensile strength),maximum power,and current density are found to be increased while activation energy and fuel crossover show a decrement as GO or modified GO is incorporated in the Nafion *** component analysis(PCA)predicted a significant correlation between the proton conductivity and the properties;the water uptake capacity,ion exchange capacity,hydration number,maximum power density,and maximum current density are 0.598%,0.688%,0.894%,0.980%,and 0.852%accordingly.A multiple linear model equation of proton conductivity is defined with the parameters of water uptake capacity,ion exchange capacity,hydration number,maximum power density,and maximum current density whereas the regression coefficient is 0.9923.

A new scheme is offered for minimizing carrier Rayleigh backscattering(CRB) in single feeder fiber based wavelength division multiplexed passive optical network(WDM-PON). The proposed scheme is based on single side band carrier suppressed(SSBCS) signal, both at network and receiver sides, used for the first time at optical line terminal(OLT) and optical network unit(ONU) sides. We use dual-drive Mach-zehnder modulator(DD-MZM) for generating SSB-CS signals, which decreases the expense per bit in full transmission. SSB-CS mitigates CRB, both at OLT and ONU sides, because of having no chance of reflections from the carrier. Since no extra dedicated RF or laser source is used at ONU side, we thus achieve cost effective colorless WDM-PON system. Suppressed signals from four channels, each of 10 Gbps, are multiplexed before injecting into the fiber span of 25 km at OLT. At ONU side, half of the downlink power is used for re-modulating the data signal. The simulation results show an errorfree transmission. Moreover, the detailed power budget calculations show that the proposed scheme can be sought out for splitting ratio up to 128. Hence it offers enough system's margin for unseen losses.

Gastric acid inhibitory and gastric protective effects of cannabis and cannabinoids

Cannabis sativa has long been known for its psychotropic effect. Only recently with the discovery of the cannabinoid receptors, their endogenous legends and the enzymes responsible for their synthesis and degradation, the role of this ‘endocannabinoid system’ in different pathophysiologic processes is beginning to be delineated. There is evidence that CB1 receptor stimulation with synthetic cannabinoids or Cannabis sativa extracts rich in ?9-tetrahydrocannabinol inhibit gastric acid secretion in humans and in experimental animals. This is specially seen when gastric acid secretion is stimulated by pentagastrin, carbachol or 2 deoxy-D-glucose. Cannabis and/or cannabinoids protect the gastric mucosa against noxious challenge with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, ethanol as well as against stress induced mucosal damage. Cannabis/cannabinoids might protect the gastric mucosa by virtue of its antisecretory, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and vasodilator properties.

Petrogenesis of Middle Triassic Volcaniclastic Rocks from Balochistan,Pakistan:Implications for the Break-Up of Gondwanaland

Basaltic volcanic conglomerates near the Wulgai village in Balochistan occur in the undivided sedimentary rock unit of the Bagh complex which is the mélange zone beneath the Muslim Bagh ophiolite. The presence of Middle Triassic grey radiolarian chert within the upper and lower horizon of the conglomerates suggests that the lavas, from which these conglomerates were principally derived, were eroded and re-deposited in the Middle Triassic. The Wulgai conglomerate contains several textural and mineralogical varieties of volcanic rocks, such as porphyritic, glomerophyric, intersertal and vitrophyric basalts. The main minerals identified in these samples are augite, olivine, plagioclase（An35–78） leucite and nosean, with apatite ilmenite, magnetite and hematite occurring as accessory minerals. These rocks are mildly to strongly-alkaline with low Mg~# and low Cr, Ni and Co contents suggesting that their parent magma had undergone considerable fractionation prior to eruption. Trace element-enriched mantle-normalized patterns with marked positive Nb anomalies are consistent with 10%–15% melting of an enriched mantle source in a within-plate tectonic setting. It is proposed that this Middle Triassic intra-plate volcanism may represent mantle plume-derived melts related to the Late Triassic rifting of micro-continental blocks（including Afghan, Iran, Karakorum and Lhasa） from the northern margin of Gondwana.
