Cytochromes P450(CYPs)pla. a.prominent role in ca.a.yzing pha.e I xenobiotic biotra.sforma.ion a.d a.count for a.out 75%of the tota. meta.olism of commercia.ly a.a.la.le drugs,including *** gene expression a.d enzyme a.tivity of CYPs a.e va.ia.le between individua.s,which subsequently lea.s to different pa.terns of susceptibility to ca.cinogenesis by genotoxic xenobiotics,a. well a. differences in the effica.y a.d toxicity of clinica.ly used *** resea.ch a.med to exa.ine the presence of the CYP2B6*9 polymorphism a.d its possible a.socia.ion with the incidence of B-CLL in Egyptia. pa.ients,a. well a. the clinica. outcome a.ter receiving cyclophospha.ide *** wa. isola.ed from whole blood sa.ples of 100 de novo B-CLL ca.es a.d a.so from 100 sex-a.d a.e-ma.ched hea.thy *** presence of the CYP2B6*9(G516T)polymorphism wa. exa.ined by PCR-ba.ed a.lele specific a.plifica.ion(a.a..Pa.ients were further indica.ed for receiving chemothera.y,a.d then they were followed *** CYP2B6*9 va.ia.t indica.ed a.sta.istica.ly significa.t higher risk of B-CLL under different genetic models,comprising a.lelic(T-a.lele vs.G-a.lele,OR=4.8,pa.d domina.t(GT+TT ***,OR=5.4,pa.ide chemothera.y,we found tha. the pa.ients with va.ia.t genotypes(GT+TT)were less likely to a.hieve remission compa.ed to those with the wild-type genotype(GG),with a.response percenta.e of(37.5%vs.83%,respectively).In conclusion,our findings showed tha. the CYP2B6*9(G516T)polymorphism is a.socia.ed with B-CLL susceptibility a.ong Egyptia. *** va.ia.t grea.ly a.fected the clinica. outcome a.d ca. serve a. a.good thera.eutic ma.ker in predicting response to cyclophospha.ide trea.ment.

This a.sorbent wa. prepa.ed by loa.ing zirconium（IV） on monophosphonic a.id resin. This a.sorbent wa. a.le to remove toxic a.ions efficiently a. wide pH ra.ges. However, low pH wa. prefera.le for ma.imum brea.through ca.a.ity in a. a.sorption opera.ion. The effiect of a.la.ge a.ount of competing a.ions such a. chloride, bica.bona.e, a.d sulfa.e on the a.sorption systems of a.（V） a.d phospha.e a.ions wa. investiga.ed. The experimenta. findings revea.ed tha. the a.（V） a.d phospha.e upta.es were not a.fiected by these competing a.ions despite the enha.cement of the brea.through points a.d tota. a.sorption. Phospha.e a.ion wa. slightly prefera.le tha. a.（V） in their competitive a.sorption by the a.sorbent. The a.sorbed a.（V） a.d phospha.e on the Zr（IV）-loa.ed resin were qua.tita.ively eluted with 0.1 mol/L sodium hydroxide solution, a.d the a.sorbent wa. regenera.ed by 0.5 mol/L sulfuric a.id. During severa. cycles of a.sorption-elution-regenera.ion opera.ions, no Zr（IV） wa. detected in the column efiuents. Therefore, the Zr（IV）- loa.ed monophosphonic a.id resin is a. efiective liga.d excha.ge a.sorbent for removing tra.e concentra.ions of a.（V） a.d phospha.e from wa.er.

Three new meta. complexes derived from Er（Ⅲ）, Dy（Ⅲ） a.d Zr（Ⅳ） with 2-a.inobenzohydra.ide （a.H） were synthesized a.d cha.a.terized by elementa. a.a.yses, IR, ^1H-NMR, ES-MS a.d tra.smission electron microscopy （TEM）. The morphology a.d the pa.ticle size were determined by TEM. The results showed tha. the liga.d a.ted a. neutra. bi-denta.e coordina.ing to the meta. ions through the ca.bonyl oxygen a.d a.idic a.ino nitrogen. The a.oma.ic a.ine group rema.ned inert towa.ds coordina.ion. The optica. ba.d ga. wa. mea.ured a.d found to be 3.3, 3.5 a.d 4.3 eV for Er（Ⅲ）, Dy（Ⅲ） a.d Zr（Ⅳ）, respectively. The optica. ba.d ga. va.ues indica.ed a.semi-conducting na.ure of the investiga.ed complexes. The a.ti-infla.ma.ory a.d a.a.gesic a.tivities of the tested compounds were determined a.d compa.ed with sta.da.d meloxica..

a.va.ces in fa.rica.ion of mesoscopic membra.e sensors with unique structures a.d morphologies inside a.odic a.umina.membra.e （a.M） na.ocha.nels ha.e led to the development of va.ious methods for detecting, visua.izing, a.sorbing, filtering, a.d recovering ultra.tra.e concentra.ions of toxic meta. ions, such a. Hg^2＋ a.d Pb^2＋, in wa.er a.d blood. These often ＂one-pot＂ screening methods offer a.va.ta.es over conventiona. methods in tha. they do not require sophistica.ed instruments or la.orious sa.ple prepa.a.ion. In the present study, we fa.rica.ed two mesoscopic membra.e sensors for na.ed-eye detection, recognition, filtra.ion, a.d recovery of Hg^2＋ a.d Pb^2＋ in biologica. a.d environmenta. sa.ples. These sensors were cha.a.terized by the dense immobiliza.ion of orga.ic colora.ts on the mesopore surfa.es of silica.na.otubes tha. were constructed using the na.ocha.nels of a. a.M a. a.sca.fold. We confirmed tha. the na.otubes were oriented a.ong the long a.is of the a.M na.ocha.nels, open a. both ends, a.d completely a.d uniformly filled with orga.ic colora.ts; a.so, the dense immobiliza.ion of the orga.ic colora.ts did not a.fect the speed of ion-to-liga.d binding events. We used simple, desk-top, flow-through a.sa.s to a.sess the suita.ility of the developed membra.e sensors for detection, remova., a.d filtra.ion of Hg^2＋ a.d Pb^2＋ with respect to recycla.ility a.d continuous monitoring. Remova. of the ta.get ions from biologica. fluids wa. a.sessed by mea.s of flow cytometric a.a.ysis. Our results demonstra.e the potentia. of our membra.e sensors to be used for preventing the hea.th risks a.socia.ed with exposure to toxic meta. ions in the environment a.d blood.
