Realizing a high color rendering index(CRI)in Ce:LuAG transparent ceramics(TCs)with desired thermal stability is essential to their applications in white LEDs/LDs as color *** this study,based on the scheme of configuring the red component by Cr^(3+) doping,an efficient spectral regulation was realized in Ce,Cr:LuAG TCs.A unilateral shift phenomenon could be observed in both photoluminescence(PL)and photoluminescence excitation(PLE)spectra of *** constructing TC-based white LED/LD devices in a remote excitation mode,luminescence properties of Ce,Cr:LuAG TCs were systematically *** CRI values of Ce:LuAG TC based white LEDs could be increased by a magnitude of 46.2%.Particularly,by combining the as fabricated Ce,Cr:LuAG TCs with a 0.5 at% Ce:YAG TC,surprising CRI values of 88 and 85.5 were obtained in TC based white LEDs and LDs,***,Ce,Cr:LuAG TC is a highly promising color convertor for high-power white LEDs/LDs applied in general lighting and displaying.

Miocene to Pliocene Paleoceanography of the Western Equatorial Pacific Ocean Based on Calcareous Nannofossils, ODP Hole 805B

We describe in detail the Miocene to Quaternary paleoceanography of the western equatorial Pacific Ocean based on calcareous nannofossils of Hole 805B. The relative abundance of Discoaster which lived in the lower photic zone under the stable sea with nutricline and thermocline, decreased step by step at NN5/NN6 and NN10/NN11 boundaries. Al- though the size of Reticulofenestra which is strongly influenced by nutrient, increased five times throughout the section, it drastically decreased in NN4-5 zone, NN10, NN12, and in NN15/NN16 boundary. On the basis of the relationship between Discoaster abundance and Reticulofenestra size change, collapse of the stability of the sea surface in the west- ern equatorial Pacific Ocean progressed step by step throughout the Miocene to Quaternary.

Plantago major treatment enhanced innate antioxidant activity in experimental acetaminophen toxicity

Objective: To determine the ef ect of Plantago major(P. major) extract on the liver injury following acetaminophen(APAP) toxicity. Methods: The male Sprague Dawley rats(n = 38) were randomly divided into normal control(n = 6) and experiment(n = 32) groups. The latter was subdivided into four groups and induced with APAP(1 000 mg/kg) per oral, followed by P. major extract and N-acetylcysteine orally to the respective groups for six days. Results: On the seventh day, the serum bilirubin, liver enzymes and tissue malondialdehyde were increased in APAP groups whereas the total protein in serum, tissue superoxide dismutase and glutathione levels were reduced. The plant extract treatment reduced the histological deteriorations such as aggregation of hepatocellular cords, formation of binucleated cells and vacuolisation of the cells with scanty cytoplasm. It also revealed signii cant reduction of malondialdehyde and increased level of superoxide dismutase and glutathione. The i ndings in the extract treated groups were comparable to the group treated with N-acetylcysteine. Conclusions: In conclusion, P. major can enhance innate antioxidant activity and ameliorate the APAP-induced liver injury.

Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever(CCHF),caused by Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus(CCHFV),is endemic in Africa,Asia,and Europe,but CCHF epidemiology and epizootiology is only rudimentarily defined for most *** we summarize what is known about CCHF in Central,Eastern,and South-eastern *** multiple international and country-specific databases using a One Health approach,we defined disease risk and burden through identification of CCHF cases,anti-CCHFV antibody prevalence,and CCHFV isolation from vector *** identified 2313 CCHF cases that occurred in 1944–2021 in the three examined *** Asian countries reported the majority of cases(2,026).In Eastern Asia,China was the only country that reported CCHF cases(287).In South-eastern Asia,no cases were ***,we leveraged our previously established classification scheme to assign countries to five CCHF evidence *** countries(China,Kazakhstan,Kyrgyzstan,Tajikistan,Turkmenistan,and Uzbekistan)were assigned to level 1 or level 2 based on CCHF case reports and the maturity of the countries’surveillance *** countries(Mongolia and Myanmar)were assigned to level 3 due to evidence of CCHFV circulation in the absence of reported CCHF *** countries in Eastern and South-eastern Asia were categorized in levels 4 and 5 based on prevalence of CCHFV vector ***,this paper describes the past and present status of CCHF reporting to inform international and local public-health agencies to strengthen or establish CCHFV surveillance systems and address shortcomings.

Entomopathogenic microorganisms occupy an important place among the alternative methods of fighting against pests insect. The fungus Beauveria bassiana is an agent naturally present in ecosystems. It has potential to control pest populations. In the context of biological control, the present work aims to the study of linear growth of Beauveria bassiana on different natural environments from the food industry. They are the raw whey, water and pomace, and followed the development of the fungus through a trial production of biomass on deproteinized whey.

INTRODUCTION Public stigma on mental health has been defined as‘the set of negative attitudes and beliefs that motivate individuals to fear,reject,avoid and discriminate against people with mental illness’.1 Stigma causes immense suffering to people with mental disorders across the *** to a recent Human Rights Watch report,people with mental health conditions are still shackled in 60 countries.2 Nearly nine out of 10 mental health service users in England have experi-enced discrimination.3 Stigma can be perpet-uated by people in all walks of life,including the family and friends of those with mental disorders,and healthcare professionals,including those working in mental *** adverse consequences of stigma include shame,self-blame,isolation and discrimi-nation.

The Mapping of the Soils’ Degradation State by Adaptation the PAP/RAC Guidelines in the Watershed of Wadi Arbaa Ayacha, Western Rif, Morocco

The watershed of the Arbaa Ayacha River is an environment favorable to the development of the phenomena of water erosion as a result of its topographic features, lithological and climate. Therefore it has been the subject of evaluation of states erosive and of different causal factors of the risk of erosion by adaptation of cross-matrices based on directives PAP/RAC (Priority Actions Programme/Regional Activity Centre) [1]. This method is based on three approaches. The predictive approach provides a synthetic map of the distribution of the erosive states, with 51% of the basin subjected to high risks. The descriptive mapping of the various forms of erosion shows an enormous extension of stripping and sheet erosion (91%), superficial gullies and moderately deep gullies are growing in view of the gathering of runoffs from upstream to the downstream. The superposition of the results of both predictive and descriptive approaches gives a consolidated map PAP/RAC whose analysis shows that soils’ loss throughout the basin is proportional to the increase of the major factors of water erosion according to the level of importance: The topographical factor—soil types—slope-lithology following a positive linear relationship, while the order of the parameters that are negative linear relationship is density of vegetation cover-land cover [2]. This same map gives maximal losses corresponding mainly to friable lithologic natural areas of badlands at the center of the basin which correspond to Tensift’s terraces [3]. In the downstream basin, the combined effect of deep ravines and banks sapements promotes high risk while in the upstream, the localized solifluxions and gravity screens participate in serious losses.

汉语动结式是汉语语法中比较复杂、比较难理解的语法。动结式一般由谓语动词与结果补语两个部分组成的,前面的动词表示动作的变化、行为等,后面的补语说明动作和行为的结果。在汉语作为第二语言的教学中,动结式是非常重要的语言点,也是留学生最难掌握的汉语语法点之一。由于阿拉伯语中没有“补语”系统,加上动结式本身的独特性、复杂性和多变性,对于阿拉伯语学生而言,动结式的习得比较困难。就目前关于汉语结果补语的习得研究看来,大部分都是针对欧美和亚洲国家的留学生,而很少有针对阿拉伯留学生或者非洲留学生的研究。因此针对阿拉伯汉语学习者习得汉语动结式的研究就非常有必要。本文使用的研究方法是实验方法,对母语为阿拉伯语的初级、中级和高级汉语学习者进行了动结式的测试。实验结果显示,汉语水平对阿拉伯语母语者习得汉语动结式有很显著影响,即随着汉语水平的提高,学习者的动结式习得正确率也逐渐提高。同时发现,因果事件框架也对动结式写的产生影响,在与汉语动结式对应的阿语结果中,如果阿语的谓语动词含有方式,则阿语中结果因子独立表达的动结式习得要好于结果因子融合的动结式,而阿语的谓语动词不含方式时,阿语中结果因子独立表达和融合表达的动结式没有显著差异。基于以上结论,汉语国际教学中动结式的教学提出了注重国别化、分类型、分阶段以及对比分析教法的教学建议,希望对动结式的教学有所启示。

An Algorithm for Robust Routing Strategies in Networks

In this article, the authors address the problem of optimal guidance of road network users. In the literature, several routing algorithms have been proposed under different approaches to solve this problem. Most adaptive algorithms for optimal path are based on the least expected travel time. Another approach has emerged named the SOTA （stochastic on time arrival）. This approach based on the idea of Frank （1969）, which aims to maximize the probability of arriving to a destination node parting from a given node in the network and with a given time budget. The authors＇ contribution consists here in extending this approach in order to introduce robustness towards path failure, in the guidance optimization. The authors propose a model that includes the existence as well as the performance of detours for selected paths, in the calculus of the travel time reliability. This new way of calculating travel time reliability guarantees a kind of robustness of the optimal guidance strategy.

Prevalence of Iron Deficiency Anemia among Moroccan Pregnant Women

Background: Iron deficiency anemia in pregnant women is a serious public health problem, especially in developing countries. Aim: The objective of this study is to determine the prevalence of iron deficiency anemia and its associated factors during pregnancy in the south of Morocco. Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried in the regional Hospital Center Hassan II (RHC) from April to august 2021 in all the pregnant women coming for consultation in the maternity service. 500 pregnant women were randomly recruited for the study. A complete blood count and serum ferritin was performed in every case. They have been the subjects of a questionnaire containing their background and health data. The analysis of our data was done by the IBM SPSS Statistics 25 software. Results: The prevalence of iron deficiency anemia was 20% with a CI of (44.7% - 53.5%). The most affected age group was 25 to 35 years with a rate of 42.86%. The majority of women had mild anemia (84.61%) followed by moderate anemia (11.54%) and severe anemia (3.85%). 57.14% of the anemic pregnant women were primigravida. The results of serum ferritin made it possible to identify 70% of women deficient, with a dominance of normocytic normochromic anemia. The influence of geographic origin and place of birth was not significant. Conclusion: The prevalence of iron deficiency anemia is more or less low in our study. However, there is a high prevalence of iron deficiency and anemia during pregnancy. Statistically, there was no significant association between iron deficiency anemia and the various parameters studied, such as age, parity, origin and place of birth.
