Stomatal regulation is critical for mangroves to survive in the hyper-saline intertidal zone where water stress is severe and water availability is highly fluctuant.However,very little is known about the stomatal sensitivity to vapour pressure deficit(VPD)in mangroves,and its co-ordination with stomatal morphology and leaf hydraulic traits.We measured the stomatal response to a step increase in VPD in situ,stomatal anatomy,leaf hydraulic vulnerability and pressure-volume traits in nine true mangrove species of five families and collected the data of genome size.We aimed to answer two questions:(1)Does stomatal morphology influence stomatal dynamics in response to a high VPD in mangroves?with a consideration of possible influence of genome size on stomatal morphology;and(2)do leaf hydraulic traits influence stomatal sensitivity to VPD in mangroves?We found that the stomata of mangrove plants were highly sensitive to a step rise in VPD and the stomatal responses were directly affected by stomatal anatomy and hydraulic traits.Smaller,denser stomata was correlated with faster stomatal closure at high VPD across the species of Rhizophoraceae,and stomata size negatively and vein density positively correlated with genome size.Less negative leaf osmotic pressure at the full turgor(πo)was related to higher operating steady-state stomatal conductance(gs);and a higher leaf capacitance(Cleaf)and more embolism resistant leaf xylem were associated with slower stomatal responses to an increase in VPD.In addition,stomatal responsiveness to VPD was indirectly affected by leaf morphological traits,which were affected by site salinity and consequently leaf water status.Our results demonstrate that mangroves display a unique relationship between genome size,stomatal size and vein packing,and that stomatal responsiveness to VPD is regulated by leaf hydraulic traits and stomatal morphology.Our work provides a quantitative framework to better understand of stomatal regulation in mangroves in an environment with high salinity and dynami

Block-flexure toppling failure is frequently encountered in interbedded anti-inclined rock(IAR)slopes,and seriously threatens the construction of hydropower infrastructure.In this study,we first investigated the Lean Reservoir area’s geological setting and the Linda landslide’s characteristics.Then,uniform design and random design were used to design 110 training datasets and 31 testing datasets,respectively.Afterwards,the toppling response was obtained by using the discrete element code.Finally,support vector regression was used to obtain the influence weights of 21 impact factors.The results show that the influence weight of the slope angle and rock formation dip angle on the toppling deformation among tertiary impact factors is 25.96%and 17.28%,respectively,which are much greater than the other 19 impact factors within the research range.For the primary impact factors,the influence weight is sorted from large to small as slope geometry parameters,joints parameters,and rock mechanics parameters.Joints parameters,especially the geometric parameters,cannot be ignored when evaluating the stability of IAR slopes.Through numerical simulation,it was qualitatively determined that failure surfaces of slopes were controlled by cross joints and that the rocks in the slope toe play a role in preventing slope deformation.

Lipids may play an important role in preventing gas embolisms by coating nanobubbles in xylem sap.Few studies on xylem sap lipids have been reported for temperate plants,and it remain unclear whether sap lipids have adaptational significance in tropical plants.In this study,we quantify the lipid composition of xylem sap for angiosperm species from a tropical savanna(seven species)and a seasonal rainforest(five species)using mass spectrometry.We found that all twelve species studied contained lipids in their xylem sap,including galactolipids,phospholipids and triacylglycerol,with a total lipid concentration ranging from 0.09 to 0.26 nmol/L.There was no difference in lipid concentration or composition between plants from the two sites,and the lipid concentration was negatively related to species’open vessel volume.Furthermore,savanna species showed little variation in lipid composition between the dry and the rainy season.These results support the hypothesis that xylem sap lipids are derived from the cytoplasm of individual conduit cells,remain trapped inside individual conduits,and undergo few changes in composition over consecutive seasons.A xylem sap lipidomic data set,which includes 12 tropical tree species from this study and 11 temperate tree species from literature,revealed no phylogenetic signals in lipid composition for these species.This study fills a knowledge gap in the lipid content of xylem sap in tropical trees and provides additional support for their common distribution in xylem sap of woody angiosperms.It appears that xylem sap lipids have no adaptive significance.

A large number of laboratory investigations related to the permeability have been conducted on the sliding zones.Yet little attention has been paid to the particular sliding zones of the slideprone Badong Formation.Here,we experimentally investigate the permeability nature and the mechanism of seepage in the viscous sliding zone of the Huangtupo Landslide.Saturated seepage tests have been performed first with consideration of six dry densities and thirteen hydraulic gradients,in conjunction with the mercury intrusion porosimetry test and scanning electron microscopy test for the microstructure analysis after seepage.The results show that seepage in the sliding zone soil does not follow Darcy’s Law,since there is a threshold hydraulic gradient(i0)below which no flow is observed and a critical hydraulic gradient(icr)over which the hydraulic conductivity(K)tends to be stable.The percentage of bound water could be responsible for the occurrence of i0 and icr.Furthermore,pore size distributions(PSD)less than 0.6µm and between 10 and 90µm exhibit positive and negative correlations with the i0,respectively,indicating that the i0 is related to the PSD.The mechanism accounting for this result is that pore water pressure forces fine clay particles into the surrounding large pores and converts arranged particles to discretely distributed ones,thereby weakening the connectivity of pores.The seepages in the sliding zones behave differently from that in the sliding mass and sliding bed in response to the permeability.

Objective: To evaluate whether electroacupuncture(EA) would improve gastrointestinal function and clinical prognosis in patients with severe traumatic brain injury(TBI) complicocted by acute gastrointestinal injury(AGI). Methods: This multicenter, single-blind trial included patients with TBI and AGI admitted to 5Chinese hospitals from September 2018 to December 2019. A total of 500 patients were randomized to the control or acupuncture groups using a random number table, 250 cases in each group. Patients in the control group received conventional treatment, including mannitol, nutritional support, epilepsy and infection prevention, and maintenance of water, electrolytes, and acid-base balance. While patients in the acupuncture group received EA intervention at bilateral Zusanli(ST 36), Shangjuxu(ST 37), Xiajuxu(ST 39), Tianshu(ST 25), and Zhongwan(RN 12) acupoints in addition to the conventional treatment, 30 min per time, twice daily,for 7 d. The primary endpoint was 28-d mortality. The secondary endpoints were serum levels of D-lactic acid(D-lac), diamine oxidase(DAO), lipopolysaccharide(LPS), motilin(MTL) and gastrin(GAS), intra-abdominal pressure(IAP), bowel sounds, abdominal circumference, AGI grade, scores of gastrointestinal failure(GIF),Glasgow Coma Scale(GCS), Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation(APACHE Ⅱ), Sequential Organ Failure Assessment(SOFA), and Multiple Organ Dysfunction Syndrome(MODS), mechanical ventilation time,intense care unit(ICU) stay, and the incidence of hospital-acquired pneumonia. Results: The 28-d mortality in the acupuncture group was lower than that in the control group(22.80% vs. 33.20%, P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the acupuncture group at 7 d showed lower GIF, APACHE Ⅱ, SOFA, MODS scores, D-lac,DAO, LPS, IAP, and abdominal circumference and higher GCS score, MTL, GAS, and bowel sound frequency(all P<0.05). Polar codes become the coding scheme for control channels of enhanced mobile broadband(eMBB)scenarios in the fifth generation(5 G)communication system due to their excellent decoding performance.For the cell search procedure in 5 G system,some common information bits(CIBs)are transmitted in consecutive synchronization signal blocks(SSBs).In this paper,a dual-cyclic redundancy check(dual-CRC)aided encoding scheme is proposed,and the corresponding dual-successive cancellation flip(dual-SCFlip)algorithm is given to further improve the performance of polar codes in the low signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)environment.In dual-CRC aided encoding structure,the information bits of polar codes in different transmission blocks add cyclic redundancy check(CRC)sequences respectively according to CIBs and different information bits(DIBs).The structure enlarges the size of CIBs to improve the block error ratio(BLER)performance of the system.The dual-SCFlip decoder can perform bit flip immediately once CIBs is decoded completely,and then decode DIBs or terminate decoding in advance according to the CRC result,which reduces the delay of decoding and mitigates the error propagation effect.Simulation results show that the dual-CRC aided encoding scheme and dual-SCFlip decoder have significant performance improvement compared to other existing schemes with low SNR.

为适应物联网节点计算能力弱、存储空间不足和敏感数据易受攻击等特点,提出一种新的融合卷积神经网络和差分隐私的轻量级入侵检测模型,使模型更好适应物联网苛刻的资源环境。首先,使用MinMax算法对原始流量数据进行归一化预处理;其次,设计轻量级卷积神经网络提取流量特征并进行分类;最后使用差分隐私算法对模型可能遇到的成员推理攻击进行防御。新算法在UNSW_NB15等入侵检测数据集上进行了实验,所提模型准确率达到98.98%,精确率达到98.05%,模型大小控制在200 KB左右,相比于DAE-OCSVM算法准确率提高了2.81%,适用于物联网资源有限环境下要求的高精度入侵检测;同时,针对模型可能遇到的成员推理攻击进行研究,算法在融入差分隐私算法后降低了20.96%的成员推理攻击。

刑事立法与司法之“轻”与犯罪附随后果之“重”存在抵牾，并因此危及大量犯罪人复归社会。既有之非犯罪化、畅通出罪机制及量刑抵消，前科消灭制度与犯罪记录封存制度等对策都存在缺陷，难以从根源上解决问题，对此，应从附随后果规范化的角度入手。在规范化视野下，基于保安处分的理论定性，通过分离轻重罪附随后果，建立后果与罪行的逻辑关联，压缩牵连式后果，构建体系性的制度保障，设立犯罪附随后果清单，修正下位抵触规范等措施，消解犯罪人复归社会的困难。
