Reservoir Characterization of the Early Cretaceous Sarmord and Garagu formations from Atrush-1 and Mangesh-1 Wells, Kurdistan Region, Iraq

Petrophysical properties of the Early Cretaceous Sarmord and Garagu formations from the Atrush and Sarsang Blocks in the Kurdistan Region are studied. These formations are generally composed of limestones and dolomitic limestones interbedded with thin to medium layers of yellowish-gray marl (calcareous mudstone). The current study shows that the average shale volume in the Sarmord and Garage formations is between 16% and 20%. In Atrush-1 Well, the average porosity ratio of the Sarmord and Garagu formations is fair to good (15% and 11%, respectively). However, in Mangesh-1 Well, the porosity value is poor;it is around 4% on average. Generally, most of the hydrocarbons that have been observed within the pore spaces are residual oil type in Atrush-1 Well and movable hydrocarbon type in Mangesh-1 Well. In Atrush-1 Well, out of 362 m thickness of both formations, only 180 m is considered to be a pay zone;whereas, the pay zone is just around 8.0 m thick out of 347 m of the total thickness. According to the calculated porosity values, the Garagu and Sarmord formations are not considered as good reservoirs in the studied wells, with the exception of Atrush-1 Well where the Sarmord formation has fair potential reservoir characteristics.

This study presents the fabrication and investigation （PANI） composite films. A blend of 3 wt.% OD with 1 of humidity sensors based on orange dye （OD） and polyaniline wt.% PANI was prepared in 1 ml water. The composite films were deposited on glass substrates between pre-deposited silver electrodes. The gap between the electrodes was 45 um. The sensing mechanism was based on the impedance and capacitance variations due to the absorption/desorption of water vapor. It was observed that with the increase in relative humidity （RH） from 30% to 90%, the impedance decreases by 5.2 × 10^4 and 8.8 × 10^3 times for the frequencies of 120 Hz and 1 kh., respectively. The impedance-humidity relationship showed a more uniform change compared to the capacitance-humidity relationship in the RH range of 30% to 90%. The consequence of annealing, measuring frequency, response and recovery time, and absorption-desorption behavior of the humidity sensor were also discussed in detail. The annealing resulted in an increase in sensitivity of up to 2.5 times, while the measured response time and recovery time were 34 s and 450 s, respectively. The impedance-humidity relationship was simulated.

Synthesis of Antipyrine Derivatives Derived from Dimedone

Coupling of dimedone with the diazonium salt of 4-aminoantipyrine afforded 2,3-dimethyl-4-[2-（5,5-dimethyl- 2,6-dioxocyclohex-2-ylidend）-hydrazino]-5-oxo-1-phenylpyrazoline （3）. Reaction of 3 with excess phenylhydrazine gave the mixed trishydrazone derivative 4. Treatment of 3 with hydroxylamine produced the bisoxime 5 which upon dehydrative cyclization with acetic anhydride gave the corrsponding tetrahydrobenzo[d][1,2,3]triazole derivative 7. A one-pot synthesis of 7 was done by reacting 3 with hydroxylamine hydrochloride in pyridine, followed by heatment with acetic anhydride.

formation of Diffuse and Spark Discharges in Nonuniform Electric field in Elevated Pressure Gases

Diffuse and spark discharges are formed and studied during breakdowns with nonuniform electric field in nitrogen,air,and argon at elevated pressures and pulse repetition frequency of 400 ***-polarity voltage pulses of the amplitude 20 kV,width at the base of 15 ns and rise time of 2 ns are applied to the electrode with a small radius of *** the conditions of generation of runaway electron beams and X-rays,a CCD camera records the time of the diffuse discharge formation and its duration prior to its transition to a spark *** all three gases,the diffuse discharge is formed during the time not exceeding 1 ns,when the bright spots appear on cathode in argon and air resulting in the beginning of the spark channel propagation.

Electrical Characteristics of A1/CNT/NiPc/PEPC/Ag Surface-Type Cell

The blend of nickel phthalocyanine （NiPc）（2 wt. %） poly-N-epoxypropylcarbazole （PEPC）, （1 wt. %） and carbon nano-tube （CNT） powder （2 wt. %） in benzole is deposited by drop-casting on glass substrates with pre-deposited metallic electrodes to fabricate Ag/CNT/NiPc/PEPC/A1 surface type cell. It is assumed that the high nonlinearity of the I — V characteristics is related to deep traps in the nano-scale depletion region in NiPc that is observed experimentally. The values of ideality factor and barrier height are determined from the I — V curve and they are found to be 8.4 and 1.05eV, respectively. The values of mobility and conductivity are calculated to be 7.94 × 10？8 cm/Vs and 3.5 × 10？6 Ω？1 cm？1. The values of ideality factor and series resistance are also calculated by using Cheung＇s functions, which are in good agreement with the values calculated from the I — V curve.

Structural features of the Leaf and fruit of the Emerald Variety <i>Olea europaea</i>L., Growing under the Introduction Conditions of Surkh.ndarya

for the first time, the anatomical structure of the leaf, petiole and fruit of the emerald variety Olea europaea, which grows under the conditions of introduction in the Oltinsay district of the Surkh.ndarya region of Uzbekistan, was studied. The following characteristic diagnostic features were determined: in the leaf—the dorsiventral type of leaf mesophyll;thick-walled outer walls of the epidermis;slightly sinuous outlines of the cells of the adaxial epidermis, rectilinear-abaxial;hypostomotic leaves;non-submerged stomata of the anomocytic type;thyroid silver-gray and white-fluffy star-shaped squamous-numerous on the adaxial epidermis than on the adaxial;chlorophyll-bearing palisade and spongy parenchyma;closed collateral type of conductive bundles;the most scleralized leaf due to the presence of filamentous scleroids in it (long, thin, resembling fibers);in the petiole—parenchymal-beam type of structure;the location of the angular collenchyma under the epidermis;closed collateral type of conductive bundles;the presence of thick-walled parenchymal cells and the presence of filiformscleroids;pericarp of the fetus consists of a rigid 1-layer exocarp, parenchymal mesocarp, and sclerenchymal endocarp;the presence of scleroids—stony cells and branched sclerenchymal fibers with drops of oil in the parenchymal cells. Diagnostic signs revealed by us reflect xeromorphic of this species. all the signs were compared, and we came to the conclusion that the anatomical signs of the leaf and the fetus can be useful for providing diagnostic signs for distinguishing the studied taxa, can be used in taxonomy, and can serve to identify plant materials.

This study reports on subnanosecond breakdowns initiated on high pressure nitrogen by a runaway electron beam in an inhomogeneous electric *** is shown that a diffuse discharge with a duration of≥1 ns is formed in the gas *** are reported for the first time on collector measurements of a supershort avalanche electron beam downstream of an anode foil at a nitrogen pressure of 0.5–1.2 *** beam pulsewidth at these pressures is∼90 *** a nitrogen pressure of 1.2 MPa,the number of electrons with an energy>70 keV recorded by the collector is 4×10^(6)/cm^(2).

Determination of Manganese in Tap Water by a New Extraction-Photometric Method

The heteroligand complex of manganese with 1,10-phenantroline and o-nitrobenzolazosalicylic acid has been investigated by spectrophotometric method. The condition of complexing and extraction, physical-chemical and analytical characteristics of this complex have been found. Complex formation is observed in the pH range 5 - 11. Extraction constant was found as 5.3 × 1012, stability constant was found as lgβK = 9.03?± 0.03. Molar absorptivity is ε = (1.36 ± 0.08) × 104 l·g﹣1·cm﹣1. Beer's law is obeyed in the range of 1.0 - 22.5 μkg manganese (II). The extraction-photometric methods of manganese determination have been worked out. The influence of diverse ions on determination of manganese (II) has been studied. The proposed method was applied successfully to determine amount of manganese in tap water.

Seed Germination and Vegetative Propagation of Promising Decorative Lonicera tatarica L. (Caprifoliaceae Juss.), Introduced into the Tashkent Botanical Garden (Uzbekistan)

Seed germination (in laboratory and field conditions) and vegetative reproduction (by cuttings) of a promising decorative species—Lonicera tatarica L. (Caprifoliaceae Juss.) was studied for the first time in the conditions of introduction of the Tashkent Botanical Garden of Uzbekistan. Thus, the optimal temperature for germination of L. tatarica seeds in laboratory conditions is +20°C + 22°C, at which germination was 73%. The germination rate of seeds sown in autumn in the field was 62%, and the germination rate of seeds sown in spring was 71%. It was noted that in greenhouse conditions at an air temperature of 20°C - 22°C and a relative humidity of 49% - 53%, the rootability of cuttings was 75%. It was revealed that the studied species adapted well to the conditions of introduction. Taking into account the effectiveness of vegetative reproduction of L. tatarica, it can be recommended for improving the aesthetic condition and landscaping of cities, landscaping and landscape design.
