Molecular materials showing synergetic coupling of near-infrared （NIR） fluorescence and spin-crossover （SCO） are promisingly applicable in in-vivo bioimaging,temperature sensing,and spintronic *** the related study faces formidable *** this work we graft the NIR fluorophore xanthene onto the dipyridyl substituted triazole ligand and construct a new febased SCO material,{feⅡ（ddxc-abpt）2[N（CN）2]2}(1,ddxc-abpt:（E）-4-(((3,5-di（pyridin-2-yl）-4H-1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)imino)methyl)-N,N-diethyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-xanthen-6-amine).Magnetic studies indicate that compound 1 exhibits thermally induced SCO property in both the solid and solution ***-temperature fluorescence emission spectra reveal a remarkable 7-fold increase in photoluminescence intensity upon the transition from the low-spin state at 110 K to the high-spin state at 280 K,which is the record of all reported coupled fluorescence-SCO ***-temperature ultraviolet-visible （UV-Vis）absorption spectra show a significant change in absorption intensity within the fluorescence emission window,consistent with the f?rster resonance energy transfer （fRET） ***-dependent density functional theory （TD-DfT） calculations demonstrate that the strong coupling is attributed to disrupted energy transfer between the xanthene fluorophore and high-spin *** work provides a feasible approach for expanding the synergetic SCO-fluorescence materials to the NIR-Iwavelength region,and hopefully contributes to the applications of tunable NIR-SCO molecule-based sensors and devices.

In recent years,the rough set(RS)method has been in common use for remotesensing classification,which provides one of the techniques of information extraction for Digital *** discretization of remotely sensed data is an important data preprocessing approach in classical RS-based remote-sensing *** discretization methods can improve the adaptability of the classification rules and increase the accuracy of the remote-sensing *** assess the performance of discretization methods this article adopts three indicators,which are the compression capability indicator(CCI),consistency indicator(CI),and number of the cut points(NCP).An appropriate discretization method for the RS-based classification of a given remotely sensed image can be found by comparing the values of the three indicators and the classification accuracies of the discretized remotely sensed images obtained with the different discretization *** investigate the effectiveness of our method,this article applies three discretization methods of the Entropy/MDL,Naive,and SemiNaive to a TM image and three indicators for these discretization methods are then *** comparing the three indicators and the classification accuracies of the discretized remotely sensed images,it has been found that the SemiNaive method significantly reduces large quantities of data and also keeps satisfactory classification accuracy.

Metabolites and metabolism-related gene expression profiles in skeletal muscle change dramatically under obesity, aging and metabolic disease. Since obese and lean pigs are ideal models for metabolic research. Here, we compared metabolome and transcriptome of Longissimus dorsi(LD) muscle between Taoyuan black(TB, obese) and Duroc(lean) pigs at different ages. We defined the “window phase” of intramuscular fat(IMf) deposition in TB pig, which has significantly higher IMf than Duroc pig. Our results displayed discrepant lipid composition and different expression genes(DEGs) enriched in lipid metabolism, and both metabolome and transcriptome analyses revealed stronger energy expenditure and more active amino acid and protein metabolism in Duroc pig. 10 up-and 51 down-regulated biomarker metabolites with age-and breed-specificity were identified. Potential secretory metabolites, including organic acid(fumaric acid, succinate,malic acid, and gamma-aminobutyric acid), amino acid(L-lysine, and L-glutamic acid), lipid(2-hydroxyisovaleric acid, and L-carnitine) were demonstrated a significant correlation with IMf deposition. Our research highlights the huge difference of metabolic spectrum in skeletal muscle between obese and lean model and muscle-derived secretory metabolites might act as an ambassador of intercellular communication to regulate systematic metabolism.

The CORBA technique is an integration of the object-oriented conception and distributed computing technique. It can make the application within distributed heterogeneous environments reusable, portable and interoperable. The architecture of CORBA-based discrete event simulation systems is presented and the interface of distributed simulation objects (DSO) is defined in this paper after the DSO is identified and the synchronization mechanism among DSO is discussed.

Gifted children are able to learn in a more advanced way than others, probably due to neurophysiological differences in the communication efficiency in neural pathways. Topological features contribute to understanding the correlation between the brain structure and intelligence. Despite decades of neuroscience research using MRI, methods based on brain region connectivity patterns are limited by MRI artifacts, which therefore leads to revisiting MRI morphometric features, with the aim of using them to directly identify gifted children instead of using brain connectivity. However, the small, high-dimensional morphometric feature dataset with outliers makes the task of finding good classification models challenging. To this end, a hybrid method is proposed that combines tensor completion and feature selection methods to handle outliers and then select the discriminative features. The proposed method can achieve a classification accuracy of 93.1%, higher than other existing algorithms, which is thus suitable for the small MRI datasets with outliers in supervised classification scenarios.

Nanofiltration(Nf)using loose membranes has a high application potential for advanced treatment of drinking water by selectively removing contaminants from the water,while membrane fouling remains one of the biggest problems of the *** paper reported a seven-month pilot study of using a loose Nf membrane to treat a sand filtration effluent which had a relatively high turbidity(∼0.4 NTU)and high concentrations of organic matter(up to 5 mg/L as TOC),hardness and *** showed that the membrane demonstrated a high rejection of TOC(byf two pesticides(54%–82%)while a moderate rejection of both calcium and magnesium(∼45%)and a low rejection of total dissolved solids(∼27%).The membrane elements suffered from severe membrane fouling,with the membrane permeance decreased by 70%after 85 days *** membrane fouling was dominated by organic fouling,while biological fouling was *** fouling was mainly caused by deposition of aluminum-bearing *** inorganic foulants were minor contents on membrane,their contribution to overall membrane fouling was *** fouling was not uniform on *** contents of organic and inorganic foulants were the highest at the inlet and outlet region,respectively,the severity of membrane fouling increased from the inlet to the outlet region of membrane element with a difference higher than 30%.While alkaline cleaning was not effective in removing the membrane foulants,the use of ethylenediamine tetraacetate(EDTA)at alkaline conditions could effectively restore the membrane permeance.
