A coupled method describing gas–solid two-phase flow has been proposed to numerically study the bubble formation at a single orifice in gas-fluidized *** particles are traced with smoothed particle hydrodynamics,whereas gas phase is discretized by finite volume *** force,gas pressure gradient,and volume fraction are used to couple the two *** effect of injection velocities,particle sizes,and particle densities on bubble growth is analyzed using the coupled *** simulation results,obtained for two-dimensional geometries,include the shape and diameter size of a bubble as a function of time;such results are compared with experimental data,previous numerical results,and other approximate model predictions reported in the ***,the flow profiles of gas and particle phases and the temperature distribution by the heat transfer model around the forming bubble are also *** results show that the coupled method efficiently describes of the bubble formation in fluidized *** proposed method is applicable for solving gas–solid two-phase flow in fluidization.

Background:Impairments in hamstring strength,flexibility,and morphology have been associated with altered knee biomechanics,pain,and *** the presence of these impairments in individuals with gradual-onset knee disorders is important and may indicate targets for assessment and *** systematic review aimed to synthesize the literature to determine the presence of impairments in hamstring strength,flexibility,and morphology in individuals with gradual-onset knee ***:five databases(MEDLINE,Embase,CINAHL,SPOrTDiscus,and Web of Science)were searched from inception to September *** studies comparing hamstring outcomes(e.g.,strength,flexibility,and/or morphology)between individuals with gradual-onset knee disorders and their unaffected limbs or pain-free controls were ***-analyses for each knee disorder were ***-level certainty was assessed using the Grading of recommendations Assessment,Development,and Evaluation,and evidence gap maps were ***:Seventy-nine studies across 4 different gradual-onset knee disorders(i.e.,knee osteoarthritis(OA),patellofemoral pain(PfP),chondromalacia patellae,and patellar tendinopathy)were *** with knee OA presented with reduced hamstring strength compared to pain-free controls during isometric(standard mean difference(SMD)=-0.76,95%confidence interval(95%CI):-1.32 to-0.21)and concentric contractions(SMD=-0.97,95%CI:-1.49 to-0.45).Individuals with PfP presented with reduced hamstring strength compared to painfree controls during isometric(SMD=-0.48,95%CI:-0.82 to-0.14),concentric(SMD=-1.07,95%CI:-2.08 to-0.06),and eccentric contractions(SMD=-0.59,95%CI:-0.97 to-0.21).No differences were observed in individuals with patellar *** with PfP presented with reduced hamstring flexibility when compared to pain-free controls(SMD=-0.76,95%CI:-1.15 to-0.36).Evidence gap maps identified insufficient evidence for chondromalacia patel

Ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease, commonly known as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), draw attention from specialists of various disorders, including gastroenterology, psychiatry, and radiology. The involvement of a cortical influence in the brain-gut axis as well as the interaction of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis and the peripheral nervous system provide an initial explanation of the psychological symptoms associated with IBD. The involvement of structures the limbic system, such as the anterior cingulate cortex, the prefrontal cortex, and the amygdala, paves the way for the discovery of the mechanisms underlying depression depression, anxiety, alexithymia, personality traits, and other psychological impairments following the onset of IBD. Psychiatric therapy in IBD patients is almost as important as the gastroenterological approach and consists of pharmacological treatment and psychotherapy. Neither of the available psychiatric treatment methods is considered the golden standard because both methods have side effects, and psychotropic medication can provoke the worsening of IBD symptoms. Thus, both approaches must be applied with awareness of the possibility of side effects. We suggest that psychiatrists and gastroenterologists work together to reach a consensus on IBD therapy to ensure success and to reduce side effects and relapse to the lowest possible rates.

We use a non-relativistic model to study the spectroscopy of a tetraquark composed of [cc]■ in a diquark-antidiquark *** numerically solving the Schr?dinger equation with a Cornell-inspired potential,we separate the four-body problem into three two-body ***-dependent terms(spin-spin,spin-orbit and tensor)are used to describe the splitting structure of the ■ spectrum and are also extended to the interaction between *** experimental data on charmonium states are used to fix the parameters of the model and a satisfactory description of the spectrum is *** find that the spin-dependent interaction is sizable in the diquark-antidiquark system,despite the heavy diquark mass,and also that the diquark has a finite size if treated in the same way as the ■ *** find that the lowest S-wave T 4c tetraquarks might be below their thresholds of spontaneous dissociation into low-lying charmonium pairs,while orbital and radial excitations would be mostly above the corresponding charmonium pair ***,we repeat the calculations without the confining part of the potential and obtain bound diquarks and bound *** might be relevant to the study of exotic charmonium in the quark-gluon *** T 4c states could be investigated in the forthcoming experiments at the LHC and BelleⅡ.

Steganography is one of the best techniques to hide secret *** steganography methods are available that use an image as a cover object,which is called image *** image steganography,the major features are the cover object quality and hiding data *** to poor image quality,attackers could easily hack the secret ***,the hidden data quantity should be improved,while keeping stego-image quality *** main aim of this study is combining several steganography techniques,for secure transmission of data without leakage and unauthorized *** this paper,a technique,which combines various steganographybased techniques,is proposed for secure transmission of secret *** the pre-processing step,resizing of cover image is performed with Pixel repetition Method(PrM).Then DES(Data Encryption Standard)algorithm is used to encrypt secret data before embedding it into cover *** encrypted data is then converted to hexadecimal *** is followed by embedding using Least Signification Bit(LSB)in order to hide secret data inside the cover ***,image de-noising using Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)is used to enhance the cover image with hidden encrypted *** Zerotrees of Wavelet Transform is used to compress the image in order to reduce its *** are conducted to evaluate the performance of proposed combined steganography technique and results indicate that the proposed technique outperforms all existing *** achieves better PSNr,and encryption/decryption times,than existing methods for medical and other types of images.

The mechanical properties of commercial dual phase （DP）, transformation induced plasticity （TrIP）, and high strength low alloy （HSLA-340） steel sheets are investigated and compared at various strain rates ranging from 0.001 7to 0.17 s-1 at ambient *** steel outperforms the other two materials , having comparable ductility and twice as large strength relative to DP *** has larger strength and much larger ductility than *** exceuent ductility of TrIP800is due to its high strain hardening capability , which promotes stable plastic *** is observed that the strain hardening rate in TrIP800does not decrease to zero at failure , as common in most materials in which failure is preceded by necking.

Providing nest-boxes as surrogate tree cavities can be of great importance to increase the breeding populations of cavity-nesting birds in managed ***,the exact placement of nest-boxes should be taken into consideration to enhance their occupancy according to species-specific *** this study,we investigated which factors can better predict nest-box occupancy by the Great Tit(Parus major)in eucalypt *** used generalised linear mixed-effects models to analyse the influence of topography,nest-box positioning,vegetation cover and landscape variables on three-year occupancy records from 80 newly provided ***-random patterns of nest-box occupancy were found with respect to all categories except *** suggest that Great Tits prefer to occupy high-placed nest-boxes,close to areas that can provide them with supplementary resources either within or in the vicinity of the stand(i.e.,trees other than eucalypts,riparian vegetation,and large patches of adjacent habitats).Overall,this study provides important recommendations for nest-box placement and spatial distribution in managed forests and enhances the potential of nest-box interventions as a biodiversity offset and management tool.

fatty acids(fAs) in sediment collected from three different stations in the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea were analyzed for their distributions and to determine evidence of harmful algal blooms in the sediment *** diverse fAs were found in the Yellow Sea(YS) station,whereas in the two stations of the East China Sea(ECS) the fAs were more *** of some fA species in the two ECS stations displayed an occasional surge in their vertical *** highest concentration of fAs was found in the surface layer of station QT3(43.28 μg g^(-1)).Monounsaturated fAs were more susceptible to degradation compared to their saturated counterparts,and changes of 16:0,18:2 and 20:5 accounted for the most variability in total concentrations of fAs as those species made up most of the quantified *** origins of the major fraction of fAs were attributed to autotrophic sources,and bacterial fAs accounted for only a small fraction of the total fAs in the *** availability was a possible regulating factor controlling bacteria abundances in marine sediments in the ECS and the YS.A principal component analysis(PCA) was applied to analyze the fA dataset and to reveal the principal environmental factors that control the composition of fAs in the ***2,which explains 15% of the variance,was estimated to reflect the diagenetic effects on the fA compositional changes in sediments influenced by bacterial degradation.

This paper investigates the free vibration and transient response of interconnected structures including double curved beams and intermediate straight beams,which are all constructed from functionally graded porous(fGP) materials. The strain potential and kinetic energies of each beam along with the work done by the external force are calculated. Additionally, a higher-order beam element is introduced to derive stiffness and mass matrices, along with the force vector. The curved and straight beams are discretized, and their assembled stiffness, mass matrices, and force vectors, are *** conditions at the joints are used to derive the total matrices of the entire structure. Subsequently, the natural frequencies and transient response of the system are determined. The accuracy of the mathematical model and the self-developed computer program is validated through the comparison of the obtained results with those of the existing literature and commercial software ANSYS, demonstrating excellent ***, a comprehensive study is conducted to investigate the effects of various parameters on the free vibration and transient response of the considered structure.
