The id.ntification of jets orig.nating.from quarks and.g.uons,often referred.to as quark/g.uon tag.ing.plays an important role in various analyses performed.at the Larg. Had.on Collid.r,as Stand.rd.Mod.l measurements and.searches for new particles d.caying.to quarks often rely on suppressing.a larg. g.uon-ind.ced.*** paper d.scribes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/g.uon tag.ers d.veloped.within the ATLAS Collaboration,using.√s=13 TeV proton–proton collision d.ta with an integ.ated.luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected.by the ATLAS *** tag.ers with hig. performances in rejecting.jets from g.uon over jets from quarks are stud.ed.one tag.er is based.on requirements on the number of inner-d.tector tracks associated.with the jet,and.the other combines several jet substructure observables using.a boosted.d.cision tree.A method.is established.to d.termine the quark/g.uon fraction in d.ta,by using.quark/g.uon-enriched.subsamples d.fined.by the jet *** in tag.ing.efficiency between d.ta and.simulation are provid.d.for jets with transverse momentum between 500 g.V and.2 TeV and.for multiple tag.er working.points.

A hyd.otalcite-like Mg. 2+ /Al 3+ layered.d.uble hyd.oxid.(Ld.) material was prepared.by means of a mod.fied.coprecipitation method.involving.a rapid.mixing.step followed.by a separate ag.ng.process. Ld. calcined.at 500 ℃, d.noted.as CLd., was characterized.by XRd. IR and.BET surface area measurements. CLd. has a poor crystalline Mg.-like structure with a hig. surface area and.porosity. CLd. was used.as a support for the immobilization of penicillin g.acylase(Pg.). The effect of varying.the immobilization cond.tions, such as pH, contact time and.the ratio of enzyme to support, on the activity of the immobilized.enzyme in the hyd.olysis of penicillin g.has been stud.ed. It was found.that the activity of the immobilized.enzyme d.creased.slig.tly with d.creasing.pH and.reached.a maximum after a contact time of 24 h. The activity of the immobilized.enzyme increased.with increasing.the ratio of enzyme to support. It was found.that the ad.orption of Pg. inhibited.the expected.reaction of CLd. with an aqueous med.um to reg.nerate a Ld. phase. Its orig.nal activity(36%) after 15 cycles of reuse of the immobilized.enzyme was retained. but no further loss in the activity was observed.

The assembly of thin films （TFs） having.long.lasting.luminescence can be expected.to play an important role in the d.velopment of new-g.neration smart sensors, anti-counterfeiting.materials, and.information-encryption systems. However, such films are limited.compared.with their powd.r and.solution counterparts. In this stud., by exploiting.the self-org.nization of phosphors in the two-d.mensional （2d. g.lleries between clay nanosheets, we d.veloped.a method.for the ord.red.assembly of long.afterg.ow TFs by utilizing.a hyd.og.n-bond.ng.layer-by-layer （LBL） process. Compared.with the pristine powd.r, the TFs exhibit hig. polarization and.up-conversion room-temperature phosphorescence （RTP）, as well as enhanced.quantum yield. and.luminescence lifetimes, allowing.them to be used.as room-temperature phosphorescent sensors for humid.ty and.oxyg.n. Moreover, mod.fied.clay-based.hybrid. with multicolor RTP can serve as anti-counterfeiting.marks and.triple-mod. 2d.barcod. d.splays. We anticipate that the LBL assembly process can be extend.d.to the fabrication of other inorg.nic--org.nic room-temperature phosphorescent hybrid. with smart luminescent sensor and.antiforg.ry applications.

Using.Mn(OH)2 as precursor, LiOH as lithiat- ing.ag.nt and.(NH4)2S2O8 as oxid.nt, layered.o-LiMnO2 was obtained.by a novel method.—in situ oxid.tion-intercalation und.r mild.cond.tions (80℃). The prod.ct was characterized.by XRd. ICP, TEM and.Li-NMR. The results reveal that 7 orthorhombic LiMnO2 with hig. purity and.g.od.crystallin- ity can be obtained.by this method. d.ring.electrochemical tests, a LiMnO2/Li cell shows an initial reversible capacity of 208 mAh·g.1 and.a reversible capacity of 180 mAh·g.1 after 30 cycles at room temperature.
