In this study,the correlation between simulated and measured radar velocity spectrum width(σ_(v))is *** results show that the dendrites growth zones(DGZs)and needles growth zones(NGZs)mostly contain dendrites(DN)and needles(NE),***σ_(v) zones(1.11.2 m s^(-1),a differential reflectivity(ZDR)higher than 0 dB,and a cross-correlation coefficient(ρhv)less than *** contrast,prolate particles with relatively uniform shapes were observed in the NGZ withσ_(v)<0.6 m s^(-1),a ZDR less than 0 dB,andρhv higher than *** simulation results show that the DN exhibited a largerσ_(v) compared to the NE,and this observedσ_(v) was strongly dependent on the wind fluctuations(v’)due to turbulence or wind *** contrast,the NE exhibited a significantly smallσ_(v)~0.55 m s^(-1),which converges irrespective of v’.In addition,a strong correlation between the measuredσ_(v) values at five radar elevation angles(θ=6.2°,9.1°,13.1°,19°,and 80°)and those simulated in this study confirmed the significance of the analysis results.

MicroRNAs （miRNAs） are small non-coding RNAs that negatively regulate gene expression at the post-transcriptional level. They are involved in important biological processes including development, homeostasis, and ageing. Recently, extracellular miRNAs have been discovered in the bloodstream and bodily fluids. These miRNAs are shown to be secreted and circulating in microvesicles （MVs）, or in complex with other factors such as RNA-binding proteins and high-density lipoprotein （HDL） particles. These cell-free, circulating miRNAs can be taken into and function as negative regulators of target genes in recipient cells. Here we review the biogenesis and uptake of circulating miRNAs as well as their profiles in ageing and ageing-related diseases. We discuss the emerging role of circulating miRNAs as biomarkers and therapeutic targets.

The present study proposes a methodology for predicting the mechanical properties of AZ61 and AZ91alloys associated with microstructure,texture and aging parameters and estimating predictor *** this,we investigate quantitative correlations between microstructure,texture and mechanical properties of aged AZ61 and AZ91 rods through machine *** regression analysis focuses on the precipitation behavior of Mg17Al12as the main second phase of Mg-Al-Zn alloys with respect to aging *** simplify data generation,only SEM images were used to quantify the features of discontinuous and continuous *** overcome the lack of data and make the most of the measured data,we devised a method to extend the existing dataset by a factor of 9 using the mean and standard deviation of the measured *** neural networks predicted tensile and compressive yield strengths and resultant yield asymmetry with a high accuracy of over 98%using 11 predictors for a total of *** tree learning quantitatively assessed the importance of predictors in determining the mechanical properties of aged AZ61 and AZ91 rods.

Previously we have designed and implemented new image browsing facilities to support effective offiine image contents on mobile devices with limited capabilities： low bandwidth, small display, and slow processing. In this letter, we fulfill the automatic production of cartoon contents fitting small-screen display, and introduce a clustering method useful for various types of cartoon images as a prerequisite stage for preserving semantic meaning. The usage of neural networks is to properly cut the various forms of pages. Texture information that is useful for grayscale image segmentation gives us a good clue for page layout analysis using the multilayer perceptron （MLP） based x-y recursive algorithm. We also automatically frame the segment MLP using agglomerative segmentation. Our experimental results show that the combined approaches yield good results of segmentation for several cartoons.

Data-driven models have become increasingly prominent in the building,architecture,and construction *** area ideally suited to exploit this powerful new technology is building performance ***-based models have traditionally been used to estimate the energy flow,air movement,and heat balance of ***,physics-based models require many assumptions,significant computational power,and a considerable amount of time to output *** neural networks(ANNs)with prefabricated or simulated data are likely to be a more feasible option for environmental analysis conducted by designers during the early design *** ANNs require fewer inputs and shorter computation times and offer superior performance and potential for data augmentation,they have received increased attention for predicting the surface solar radiation on ***,ANNs can provide innovative and quick design solutions,enabling designers to receive instantaneous feedback on the effects of a proposed change to a building's *** research introduces deep learning methods as a means of simulating the annual radiation intensities and exposure level of buildings without the need for physics-based *** propose the CoolVox model to demonstrate the feasibility of using 3D convolutional neural networks to predict the surface radiation on building *** CoolVox model accurately predicted the radiation intensities of building facades under different boundary conditions and performed better than ARINet(with average mean square errors of 0.01 and 0.036,respectively)in predicting the radiation intensity both with(validation error=0.0165)and without(validation error=0.0066)the presence of boundary buildings.

3-D geochemical subsurface models,as constructed by spatial interpolation of drill-core assays,are valuable assets across multiple stages of the mineral industry's ***,the accuracy of such models is limited by the spatial sparsity of the underlying drill-core,which samples only a small fraction of the *** limitation can be alleviated by integrating collocated 3-D models into the interpolation process,such as the 3-D rock property models produced by modern geophysical inversion procedures,provided that they are sufficiently resolved and correlated with the interpolation *** standard machine learning algorithms are capable of predicting the target property given these data,incorporating spatial autocorrelation and anisotropy in these models is often not *** propose a Gaussian process regression model for 3-D geochemical interpolation,where custom kernels are introduced to integrate collocated 3-D rock property models while addressing the trade-off between the spatial proximity of drill-cores and the similarities in their collocated rock properties,as well as the relative degree to which each supporting 3-D model contributes to *** proposed model was evaluated for 3-D modelling of Mg content in the Kevitsa Ni-Cu-PGE deposit based on drill-core analyses and four 3-D geophysical inversion *** the inversion models improved the regression model's likelihood(relative to a purely spatial Gaussian process regression model)when evaluated at held-out test holes,but only for moderate spatial scales(100 m).
